“Been garaged until last years for approximately 25 years. Originally from the Brunswick Naval Air Station, all original and complete. Had it turning over but couldn’t get it started so I purchased an identical engine but haven’t installed it yet. Had 3 of the combat split rims blasted and painted with new NDT tires and tubes. Tub can be repaired or replaced, change my mind daily on what way to go. I need to thin out the herd, too many Jeep’s right now. Have some new brake parts, frame is excellent”
The body has had some work.

“This collectors 1944 / 4-wheel-drive Willys Overland Surrey Jeep underwent a frame-off, nut-and-bolt restoration and is powered by a modern 2.0-liter high-performance OHC Ford 4-cylinder engine backed by a C4 automatic transmission with a shift kit and a Hurst floor shifter. It features a detailed frame and chassis and lots of chrome. This Willy is equipped with a military T18 transfer case with 2-wheel high range and 4-wheel low range, rebuilt front and rear ends with Warner hubs and 3.73 gears, chrome leaf springs with a 2” lift and a 2” body lift. “1945 Willys Jeep WW2 4wd frame off restored, parade ready, runs great, $14,000 / OBO Listing for my son in law. He inherited the jeep from his grandfather a few years ago and want’s to sell it. He has a news article & picture of his grandfather in a parade with this jeep. The odometer reads 34,354, actual restoration miles is under 1500. The Jeep is garaged & is located and can be seen in Feasterville, PA. Cash or bank certified check.”
It seems like a good restoration candidate.
https://phoenix.craigslist.org/nph/cto/d/phoenix-1943-jeep-willy-jpmb/7260477002.html
“Breakdown:
– Runs and drives on original engine and transmission.
– Mostly Original Parts
– Comes with a ton of history and documentation on the vehicle.
– Perfect starting point for a partial restoration with relatively minimal work.
– Majority of issues are cosmetic (From my understanding)
– It’s an old classic car and needs an owner who loves the jeep heritage and wants to return this vehicle to its original glory.
I am open to best offer and some negotiation. I am unable to deliver the vehicle, it would need to be picked up. I inherited this vehicle from my grandfather and it has been in many small parades. I unfortunately do not have the time to spend on the vehicle and don’t want it to waste away when it could be with someone who will have the time to work on it.”
This appears to have. Koenig hardtop with a. variety of updates. It could have a military body and front clip. You have to scroll the through the CJ-5 pics in the ad before seeing this flattie in the pics.

Thinning out my projects”
Runs and drives.
https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/pts/d/fortine-1942-mb1a-willys-jeep/7260852192.html
“WW2 military jeep. Never sectioned or wrecked. Very minor / easily repairable rust on side panel seams (see in pics). Needs hood repaired and original style windshield. Engine is the F head from a latter willys. Original hood will fit without the hole.
We purchased it in Barstow Ca. from the original purchaser in 1997. He used it on his farm and had purchased it from Fort Irwin in 1966.
Fuel system was gone through last year. All other systems are up to date and ready to drive. That is except the brake master seems to be low on fluid. Other than that, she runs and drive great.
Just don’t need or drive it enough to justify keeping it. Besides. My new shoulder doesn’t like either steering it or working on vehicles anymore.”
