“I have an old Jeep that is titled as a 1943 with the L-134 engine. Converted to 12 v, I put a new voltage regulator on it and the electronics are good, Starts right up and drives. Has Overdrive added as well and it does work. Title in hand.
I was going to use it as a desert toy for my girlfriend and I but in the end it is a little too primitive for what I had in mind. Has nice full back aftermarket seats, and a nice top.Comes with Dick Cepek spoke wheels with good tires on them, at least 80% tread left on them. Runs and drives but will need tail pipe added at some point. Gas tank has been moved to the rear. Will throw in new hydraulic jack and lug wrench as well.”

Some of the accessories shown included. What IS NOT included is the M1919 and the accessories that go with it. However the gun mount pedestal will remain since it is bolted to the vehicle. The vehicle was restored in 2008 by a west Virginia military museum from which I had purchased this from and still a 6 volt electrical system. I put in new universal joints in the front end last year but it does need an oil seal replacement. Please feel free to ask any questions, thanks.”

UPDATE: Still Available.
(06/27/2017) Has a variety of mods.
“I have a 1943 Willy’s jeep flat fender. This has a chevy conversion, I don’t remember if it was a 327 or 350. The only reason I am selling this is I don’t have time to work on it. It does come with a tow bar and heavy duty winch on the front. When we picked this up it was a ranch jeep and had carpet in it. We took the seats and carpet out. I was going to redo the center console metal work. I have two sets of seats that will come with the jeep and I am also have the back seat that was in it. I can put this on my trailer and deliver if needed for a fee depending on distance.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $750.
There may be some parts value here. It looks to me like it has MB lids. Seller makes quite a statement about rarity, but the numbers don’t back that claim. There were 281,000 GPWs produced. That is more than the number of CJ-2As (225,000), CJ-3As (131,000), CJ-3Bs (196,000), and M-38s (45,000) … I guess it ain’t that rare after all!
“Complete jeep I’m not sure of the year but is between 42-45 I know it was made by Ford extremely rare, parts or the whole vehicle. I have the title some where or can reaply for new tittle, this is the rarest jeep ever made in the history of the country.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $500.
Listed as a CJ-2A, it looks more like an MB.

It’s had alot of work done to it but I have far too many projects. Mainly looking to sell but I may entertain offers and trades clean title in hand”

It’s a project. Number on frame matches data tag.

“For Sale: 1943 Willys MB Open Jeep. No motor installed. A 1946 CJ2A motor will go with this jeep when it is sold along with many other spare parts including the original military windshield frame that has glass installed in it and all the brackets. The transmission, transfer case and driveline are all complete as shown. The jeep will need considerable work to get it back to it’s original configuration along with the following known items that are missing from the Jeep: The oil bath air filter assembly, the intake cross-over tube, the carb, the intake, the exhaust, the fuel pump, the driver’s seat, the fuel tank, the grab handles, the footman loops, the driver’s side rear view mirror and, I’m sure, many other parts I’m forgetting. I’m liquidating all my jeeps and would be negotiable on all of them if purchased collectively. This would be a great starter project for any military historian, father-son project or military vehicle collector.
*If you’re reading this add the jeep you see pictured is still available. All my jeeps are located at our ranch, about 14 miles SSE of Temple Texas, seven miles due East of the town of Salado.
