“I have a WWII Jeep tub for sale. It is a 1944. It is in pretty good shape pretty straight and not too bad rust. it is about an average.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1450
(08/23/2016) The chassis is from a CJ-2A.
“I have a 1942 Willy MB project. I do not have the time or space to complete this the way I would like it. I have all the components, hood, grille, fenders, tub, frame, wheels/tires, seat, fuel tank, steering shaft and wheel, axels, motor and transmission. The frame is from a 1947 CJ-2 I was modifying it to be like the 1942 frame. This is where I have run into trouble the frame is setup for the T-90 transmission not the T-84 I want to have on it. I also have another motor. It is title and registered. Engine does run. Everything is apart right now waiting for the right person to complete. ”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $18,500.
Not sure why it doesn’t have full floating rear hubs? Seems a strange detail to miss
“1945 Willys MB, completely restored and parade ready. Frame off restoration, engine, transmission and drive train completely rebuilt. Professionally painted replacement tub, hood and windshield frame. Jeep looks and runs like new. Rebuilt chain drive engine is from an early CJ2a, and rear axle is a Dana 41. All other parts are either original, NOS or replacement. Ready for your show or parade. Clear Virginia title. Less than 500 miles driven since restoration.”
It’s still a project. Looks like it might be on a 1970s CJ-5 chassis.
“1942 willy’s jeep MB

Possible trade for prerunner with cash or dirt bike on my end”
UPDATE: Still Available.
(11/11/2015) Appears to have a reversed roll bar with the front loop tied to the back loop.
“This jeep has a 1989 302 Ford 5.0 fuel injected motor. ARB high output compressor with ARB front and rear. Older 8000 lbs warn winch.(higher rated than newer warns) I have replaced and upgraded too much to list. Call or texted if you’re really interested. Would consider trade for a commuter vehicle it motorcycle.”
The body looks rough on the passenger side. It has the wrong windhshield and rims.
“1943 Jeep Willys MB. Current registration, clean title. Starts and runs great. I do drive it on weekends. New tires, windshield and seats. 12 volt with rebuilt starter and alternator. I had hoped to fully restore, but plans have changed. Drive train in great shape. The body work is next.”
This poor, sad jeep. There could be some parts value here.I love the “well-rested” comment.
“This is an original 1945 Willy’s first generation Jeep. as you can see in body is well-rested and frame is Rusted but all original engine drive shaft, and gears. The Engine is all there and been under cover. I have seen the gas can as well as instrument clusters go for several hundred each on eBay. It will need towed for Flat-Bed Trailer home. ”
It’s a project.
“Willys MB project runs and drives through all gears. Body rough rear cross member needs replacement Frame solid front frame looks ok Has good numbers Mismatched tires T-84 transmission”
it’s sitting in front of a 4×4 shop in Livermore.
“This is a 1945 Willys MB flat fender jeep. The jeep is currently the centerpiece out in front of The 4 x 4 Shop in Livermore California. The jeep is far from perfect but was a runner when parked between the poles a year and a half ago. The jeep is currently registered in California though the photos show it with the New Mexico plate and it still wears its original data plates on the glove box door as well as the data plate on the frame. The paint job was done with the rattle cans for the grand opening of the store, and has been written on by hundreds of children with a sharpie marker . It’s actually a pretty entertaining peace . But unfortunately I am purchasing a new Willys shop truck so one of them has to go . The phone number listed is for the store and our store hours are Monday through Friday 9 to 6 and Saturday 9 to 3 . Or feel free to email and I’ll respond as soon as possible . The jeep will remain between the poles until a deal is struck .”
This is the same MB that sold at auction for $10,500 last month.
“This is a very nice, really well kept, maintained, cared for original and authentic Willys WWII Military MB Jeep. As you can see by the pictures, it is really nice. Tires are very good!!! The paint is all good, and believed that at least the hood is of ORIGINAL paint…….interior is good. DOES COME WITH CANVAS TOP IN VERY GOOD CONDITION AS WELL!!! Rare find. The only modification that we can tell is that it has been converted to a 12 volt system, with key ignition. Other than that…………very original! Great vehicle for parades, nostalgia, etc…………$22,400/offer”
Has updated drive train. Not sure how much MB is left.
“1942 Willys jeep flat fender has a 302 v8 needs some work runs good”
Has an f-head.
“Big USA & Military Jeep history here!
This Jeep is very solid and retains many of its original parts. It has been re-powered at some point with a slightly later model jeep engine. Has newer tires, runs drives and stops real well. Has original data plate and matching frame number tag.
In my name & C urrently CA registered through October 2017”
UPDATE: Still Available. http://sfbay.craigslist.org/pen/cto/5778467469.html
Katey’s is selling their beloved and trust trail-modified MB. It’s listed on the title as a 1942, but the serial number stamped into the dash plates of MB 383180 puts it as a 1944. However, the plate is obviously aftermarket. I’ve suggested she check for the serial number on the frame and body gusset. Contact her at katey@pioneermillwork.com if interested.
“1942 MB with original engine and drive train that has been used as a trail jeep. It is perfect as is or could be converted back to original MB if desired. It does have the matching numbers . As you can see all of the original plates are still on the dash. The body does have a couple spots of rust but not through . I do still have the original back seat that is in good condition we took it out when we put the on board air.
We mostly did 4 wheel drive runs in the jeep or Sunday drives it was by far the most fun vehicle we owned . We only towed by trailer if we took it long distance. I think it only has like 13,000.00 miles on it. We have made a few modifications to it. I have everything listed below that I am aware of.
Modifications made
Roll Bar
Spring over suspension
On board air
Tilt wheel.
Air Brakes
Warn winch”
This has a CJ gas tank installed. The cap is still out a hole in the side.
“This is a classic, must see to appreciate,I am only selling to free up some cash, this has been my project for a while I have upgrade alot including:new brakes, electric fan,fog lights, rebuilt carb, rebuilt transfer case, original running gear, brand new tires,2 five gallon military cans, rebuilt L134 go-devil motor,12 volt system, refab seats, stereo system with cd player, tow bar, starts and runs perfect…

“FOR SALE: 1944 Willys MB Jeep. Bought in 2009 and have started the restoration of it but due to job and being away from home a lot, it has slowed the progress. I know have quite a bit of $$ in it and only asking what I paid for it. The $ 5000.00 is firm as I will be taking about a 3K loss already from what I have put into it. It has the original FLAT head 4 cylinder engine in it as well as two combat rims. Parts added the spare tire mount , bumperettes, pintle, Corner handles, new glass in the windshield, just to name a few. Also included is the cover for it as well. Call for date, time and location to come see it. Please don’t waste your time or mine by showing up and offering less than the list price.”
Maybe some value?
“1943 WILLYS JEEP….ROLLING CHASSIS AND TUB, no front fenders, hood, or grill, no motor, tranny or transfer case, comes with CJ windshield…tub is dented and a little rusty but great start on an original military jeep…axles and frame look to be in great shape… bring your own wheels and tires”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $5000.
(04/13/2016) The body’s been modified.
“It is a MB Willys it is not a cj or gpw it is the real deal here. It’s a hard to find jeep. It does run and drive. It is a navy jeep I can tell you that.”
Blaine forwarded this ad. It’s unclear if the seller still has this. Seller was cleaning property of a variety of vehicles and the ad notes it is only good for Sep. 3-5. But, you never know …
“Accepting all offers! Pickers welcome. Trying to clear my property of old vehicles (motorcycles, cars and trucks), tons of old tools, fencing (various kinds), bath tubs, scrap metal, ect. Too much stuff to list it all. Have clean titles to Subaru Legacy and Ford Bronco, no titles for rest of vehicles and ORV’s. Labor Day weekend only Sept. 3-5. If interested call for directions. Will not deliver.
Pick up and haul away. Anything and everything goes. Some items are yours for free if you can haul away.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4200.
Has a variety of updates.
“I am selling my Willys CJ2 flat fender. Its a great little jeep I drive it on a regular basis. I have maintained it well as a daily driver and a wheeling/hunting jeep. It has some good modifications to it that make it great for 4×4 and hunting. It has the Buick 231 V6 in it for a lot more power. It also has SM420 4 speed with granny low gear transmission, this transmission is a heavy duty truck transmission that can hold up to any abuse you may want to put it through. It has a 8000 lbs winch on the front. Comes with a removable tow bar for convenience. Bucket seats for more comfort when off road and around town. Black Bikini top. I installed a radio bracket and speakers up on the roll bar to keep it all out of the way of shifting and away from potential mud and debris. Tires are in great condition with plenty of tread. Unknown mileage on the motor. I replaced the spark plugs and wires a couple years ago. Fuel tank was upgraded to a larger tank and removed from under the driver seat for safety concerns.
Needs: brake adjustment, I had to cut a bigger hole in the transmission hump on the floor and I never finished building a new cover for it that fits. It could use a paint job if you want it to look nice, or it could be left as is for having fun.”
Seller describes it as a project, but doesn’t indicate what it needs.
“Selling my Willys jeep project, need the space. Have the windshield and roll bar. Asking $4,000 but please make an offer. Thanks”
Jon spotted this one. It is an MB that was part of a Canadian contract. I assume the “T-18 transmission” is a misprint?
“To many interests and not enough time or space, so it’s time to move on to a new home and an owner that would like to enjoy it as much as we have.
Own a piece of Canadian History
It is a Canadian MB which is rare. Only 5000 were produced under this Contract Number CDLV505 out of the 650,000 jeeps built during wartime production. Most of its parts are there with the exception the 6 volt electrics which were converted to 12 volt. It comes with known history.
Includes lots of literature, and spare parts such as,
T18 Transmission, Front and rear axle assemblies, 2 Gallons of the correct paint, manuals books and many small restoration parts from the Ron Fitzpatrick in Medford Oregon

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3000.
Not sure why it is listed as a 1954. It does have a military body, so maybe it is a ’44? Has a Bobcat fiberglass hood. It includes a top, not pictures. Appears to be missing a muffler. Has full floating rears. If this is still around after we return from Billings I’ll check it out.
“1954 Willys Jeep 304 V8
Everything works. Needs exhaust and new switch for headlights. Have top and doors.
$3000 OBO”
Might be some value here. No pics provided.
“I have a 1945 willys mb, no motor, running gear, etc.
The bad: body is no good
No gauges
No seats
The good: good original 9 slot grill with blackout lights
Original hood
Original fenders
Original axles
Original data plate still on frame, serial MB425,xxx
Willing to make a deal but must take whole jeep.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500.
May be worth a look.
“Thinking about selling the ’45 Willys. This would be a project vehicle for someone.
It runs and drives, though I wouldn’t take it on the trails. Body has mended breaks, but it comes with a tub we picked up with the intent to restore it. We also have another frame which is rusty, but in good shape. Another motor could be included, a Hurricane 6 which was intended to be put in later. I believe there are some other pieces and parts to go with it (a bench seat I believe).”
Rob’s got his nice looking MB for sale. It’s got an engine issue.
“Reason for the low price is that the head or block is probably cracked. It’s getting water in the oil and quickly over-heating. We’re moving and don’t want to deal with repairs.
Original body. 10-yr old wiring harness, 10-yr old tires. Brakes work, e-brake doesn’t. Reproduction canvas top, seats, crash pads. 3-inch tear in top canvas on rear quarter seam. Horn is there but not wired. Needs new blackout light bulb, not wired. Ignition moved from floor to key in dash. Has after-market fuel filter added to the fuel line between pump and carb. 6 volt. Had repair/bondo work done underneath passenger-side step. Bumper has been modified from war-time specs, cut shorter and has welded brackets for a flat-tow hitch to be attached. Is licensed on a pemanent Oregon antique vehicle plate.”
