“1941 Willies Jeep. Runs GREAT!! Needs body work and brakes.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** For $500.
There’s value here. Listed at $500, but sounds like it might turn into a bidding situation.
“MFG 3-25-42 BRT (British issue) Willys MB. Its has been sitting outdoors for a long time, but is fairly complete. Have not tried to move it or see if the motor turns yet. We took the glove box cover off to research this vehicle. MAKE AN OFFER! If you see it here we still have it. Emails will be deleted. Calls only!”
Jim spotted this poor thing. Looks like it has been setting a while.
“1943 Willis Jeep, barn found. No title. Motor turns over, complete all original. Great for rock climbing!! Asking $2500.00 may consider trade, but, I Like CASH ”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was No Price.
Could use better pics.
“Fully restored, frame off, 1944 Officer’s Transport Willy MB jeep with M1 Garand with leather holster included. This jeep also includes the canopy attached which is rare to find. It used to be displayed in our other store but is now available for sale. We have the title in hand so it can be transferred quickly. These jeeps sell for 20 to 30 thousand all day. We have a price in mind but are open to offers.”
Seller lists both as a 1946, but one appears to be an MB/GPW.
“I have 2 project 46′ willys jeeps for sale, one is close to being a driver the other one is a full project, the one is almost complete, needs someone who knows the old panhead motor, this was when jeeps where jeeps, no plastic here”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $700.
Seller will not deal long distance. Looks like an early MB body given the missing glove box.
“i have a 1940’s jeep willy for sale. as you can tell it needs a lot of work. motor and transmission are complete. this vehicle has been parked for 25 years the transmission had locked up. it is a 4×4 i do not have a title for this vehicle but am willing to write a bill of sale. $700.00 cash price is firm.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $350.
Jim spotted this one.
“I have a 1941 Willy’s Jeep for sale. I will be honest the Jeep got hit by a tree. Landed right on top of it. I believe it can still be repaired enough to drive. I had it running about 7 years ago while I was home on leave from the Army, but I have not touched it since. Look at the pictures and you will see the damage is pretty bad, but like I said you can fix it or use it for parts. Everything is there except the windshield that was smashed by the tree. If they do not come get it by Wednesday then its still for sale. ”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500.
It’s a project this is partially disassembled.

Looks like it was setup for a plow. Not “all bone stock”.

(10/01/2015) It’s a project.
“1945 Overland Willys Jeep, 9 louver grill, no tailgate. Engine has been started in last 10 years, runs rough. Reconstructed WWII frame (welded front end from an MB jeep), Oregon VIN, Virginia Title.
Includes canvas cover and windshield (not pictured) and all you see in the photos. Most all original parts remain and are in the back of the Jeep. The black&white pic is from approx 2004 before the jeep was disassembled for this project and is included for reference only.
This was a restoration project that was started and is unfinished. At some point painted red, but the original military green paint is under it. This has been in my family since 1995.
This Jeep is not in running condition. AS-IS, WHERE IS.”
Runs with a V-8.
“Runs, last year for nine slot grill. Original PTO winch. Have title.
Please call or text for more information”
Doesn’t run.
1942 Jeep
needs tires and battery
small block Buick?
Make me an offer and tow it off”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2950.
Hasn’t been run in a few years.
“For being 74 years old this old girl is in pretty good shape. This has been in our family for about 45 years has been stored under cover or inside most of it’s life. Sorry to say that it has not been run for the last 6 or 8 years but has been inside a dry storage shed that whole time. Has less then 24,000 miles on it comes with a second set of axles, another window frame and old style gas cans, and one of the original seats. Motor was rebuilt in the 70’s but it only has been used to hunt with and has probably less then 2000 miles on it since the rebuild. Still a six volt system, my father ran an 8 volt tractor battery in it. Usually you find these in a field missing a bunch of stuff, rusted out and missing the motor.”
It’s a project. Seller lists it as a 1941.
“Great project for the family.
For sale 1941 Willys Jeep, original parts, needs put together. Motor and transmission are already on the frame. This Jeep has been through 3 generations, but ran out of time. Would hate to not see this thing not returned to its original potential.”
It’s a mix of parts.
“I am amidst my spring cleaning and I have just to many projects on the table, regretfully I am selling a 1948 Willy’s Jeep its the MB model which is the military Jeep. 3 sets of axle’s and 2 drive trains are included. Also a new in the box vinyl cover and roll bar.”
Looks like there’s some parts value here. Too bad it is so far away for most folks.
“Classic Willys Jeep
Rotten rusted not running title in hand may be good for some drivetrain parts”
Don’t those hooks suggest it is an MZ-2?
“I am selling this family heirloom from my Father’s estate. Runs and drives. I have receipts for every piece of equipment in this piece that my Father restored himself. This vehicle has participated in many Veterans Day parades, as well as been displayed at past Marine Birthday celebrations in Tulsa. I want this piece to go to someone who will love and enjoy it the way my Dad did. Please contact me for any information. I do not need help selling this, nor am I interested in trades.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was sold for $6200 at an auction. Now listed for $12,000. Seller claims wife won’t let him keep it anymore (as if the seller had owned it a while), so he must sell it.
“Willy’s Military Jeep with roll cage, shovel, axe, fuel can, front tow bar. This is a very well kept specimen that appears to be mostly original, unmolested and authentic.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $800.
This was disassembled.
“i am selling a ww2 willys mb. IT HAS NO TITLE AND VIN PLATE IS COVERED UP SO BILL OF SALE ONLY. I can see where the vin plate looks to be still intact but a previous owner wiled the steering box over it so only way to find out if it is still intact is cut the steering off….. the jeeps 3rd piston has cracked so it will not start as it sits the whole front end including windsheild is off of the vehicle i would like to keep it that way and sell as it…”
