This is a mix of 2A and MB parts.
“1948 Willys CJ2A. It was being done up to model a WWII Willys MB. It has a rebuilt T90 transmission and CJ2A engine but the tub is a MB tub. The tires are M151 tires. The motor is in great condition. The jeep did run and drive but the starter recently burned out. Has a brand new canvas top and original WWII MB grille . I was trying to convert this over to look like the WWII MB.
I don’t have anymore time to dedicate to the project so I am going to sell it. If you have any questions, please contact me. $6,000 OBO”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3600
(02/17/2014) Listed as a 1946, this is actually a MB or GPW.

“I have a Willy’s FrankeinJeep body tub, fenders, hood, grill, and windshield for sale. Body tub was a MB but someone cut and welded on a civy front end, windshield and grill are also civy. Fenders and hood are off of a Willy’s MZ2 which was a USMC radio Jeep it was built in 1944 according to my research. I wanted to build a rat rod out of it but I have another project that needs funding so this one is going up to help with the cost of the other. I do have the MZ2 body but it is in really bad shape if you want it or other parts I have a few things that can go with it, for a bit more then my asking price, however I do not want to part out the main body I feel it is worth more as a whole for a crawler or rat rod project or even a restoration project. I am willing to wiggle a bit on the price but not much so no low balling I know what I have and what it should be worth and what I could get parting it out. I will not ship this or any parts out I will help load them up however none of it is heavy 2 men can handle the body easy enough.
Other parts:
CJ2 trans/tcase tcase is locked up but the trans shifts
CJ2 left and right fenders
I do have a few things off my other project that I intend to sell later and they are a cj2 frame and axles and a few rims 3 civy “Daisy Duke” rims I call them and a few military.”

“Up for sale is a 1943 Jeep MB. The engine and hood are not original but everything else is. The tub has been mostly sanded down and is ready for body work. There is some rust but not much. The chassis rolls and steers. Has a Colorado title. The jeep is a very good candidate for restoration. I just dont have the time.”

It’s got a few changes.
“1943 Willies Military Jeep. Chevy v6 engine. Brand new suspension and tires.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $450.
(04/29/2014) This has an old school feel. This may be a MB or GPW body/chassis. Note the hubs on the rear. What’s really interesting is the reshaped entrances for drive and passenger. It’s well done and gives the jeep a slightly different look.
“Bought this Willys to restore but have decided it is too much of a project for me. It is either a 2A or 3A (year and model unknown since no identification on body or frame and no title). It has a modified body, roll cage, frame and axles. Has a raised hood with one rust spot and lots of bondo (probably part of conversion to V8) and modified steering.
I installed used tires since the pictures were taken so I can roll it around. It can be used for parts or rebuilt. Looks like it had a Chevy v8 in it at one time. It has surface rust but metal seems solid (several holes have been cut into the floor and inner front fender wells for unknown reasons).
You may notice the rear axle is really a front axle installed in reverse (reason unknown) and pictures also show a Dana 18 transfer case (it has a hole in the side so case is not useable).
It appears to have re-arched springs to give it a 2-3 inch lift.
Asking $450 with wheels and tires (tires have minimum tread) or $350 without wheels and tires.Jeep is located in Helendale. I can deliver within local area (for a price) if necessary. No title, bill of sale only.
Look at the pictures and contact me if interested. Just trying to get my money back”
UPDATE: Was $3800. **SOLD**
This runs and drives.
“1945 willys jeep cj2a

Runs.
“This willys has been sitting in my backyard for about 4 years. It is my dad’s willys. He had originally purchased it for a little property he has in Mexico but was not allowed to import it into Mexico. It starts, drives, and stop but it is really old and not really a good car to go fast in. I have been told that it is NON MILITARY because of the fuel neck filler placement but I am not a expert to confirm this. It has a new stainless steel fuel tank that was replaced by the previous owner. If you would like more info on it give me a call and I will answer your questions as best I can. Thanks. No calls after 9pm please.”
