“Its all there but has not been run for 20 plus years. Definitely a project but its getting rare to find ones like this all together in one piece. Gotten in trade and we are not the ones to restore this oldie.. Are you? We have checked and can’t find many for sale anywhere so we are asking $3000.00 but will consider all offers.. prefer cash but might consider a trade …maybe another vehicle or a trailer. We can deliver and there is an original title. Email with questions or to make appointment to see.”

“This Jeep is a restoration project. It is a complete unit. Has not been on the road for about 10 years. The motor is not the original it is a 1950’s 6 cyl flat head Continental. The motor if kept will need a rebuild. The transmission is original and works fine but will need new seals. The rear end was rebuilt. The front end works fine. The canvas top might be salvagable but is not in the best shape. It has bucket seats which are not original. It is still a 6 volt system.”

Buz spotted this auction of old jeeps. They are in bad shape, but some have some interesting features, including the last one. I’d like to know what type of headlights those are. My first guess is that they are the same that i used on Biscuit, ’59 Olds 5.5″

(09/21/2011) The seller claims this was never abused, but I think the body lift this was given constitutes abuse. Anybody have the phone number for the jeep abuse hotline?
“Up for your consideration is a 1943 Willys Jeep it comes with Bantam trailer that is the correct WW II model for this vehicle.
The Jeep has an original inline L head 4 cylinder 134 cubic inch engine and 3 speed transmission it has the original front and rear axles and battle rims.
The Jeep is 132 inches in length it has a wheel base of 80 inches.
The Jeep has no issue with rust it has a good tub and frame it has never been wrecked or abused.
It was bought from a WW II veteran who bought it originally (he was a sailor) by my dad who also served in WW II we were going to restore this together but things came up
The engine is complete and was running it will need to have the ignition rewired and fuel system hooked up ( we were in the middle of going through it and had to stop) something time never allowed me to finish.
It has all of the driveline intact and is fairly complete it does not have any of the pioneer tools or canvas.
The tail lights are not original the roll bar was added as were the front seats, the body now sits on lift blocks to clear a larger capacity fuel tank.
The Jeep has low miles it was used on a large farm as a tool chaser for the tractors or vehicle to go out and move the water pipes or a hunting trip once in a while, it was last driven on a highway in 1972 and has been on dirt roads or farm roads most of its life until it was put into storage a few years ago.
It has the data tags they are intact but need to be cleaned as they have been painted over.
The trailer at some point was converted to a drop tailgate and had a different hitch and bar added it has some rust in the front of the trailer that needs to be fixed, I was just glad to find a WW II trailer to eventually restore to go with the project at the time as Bantams are getting harder top find and more expensive.
I will not sell separately they go together.”
