Who thought this postcard idea was a good one? And, I’m not sure the message on the back is any better!
Looking for something else, I ran across this christmas card.
No words, but fun little illustration. It’s part of a series of identical cards with different illustrations (non jeep).

Anyone ever of this former Pennsylvania ride?
The caption on the back of this postcard reads:

I can imagine that a jeep safari in Pakistan would be quite a trip! Here are three postcards from Pakistan.

Just who thought this was a good idea for a postcard?
Marc found this unusual Willys export truck with extra carrying capacity. I thought it was a refrigeration unit of some kind, but the side reads “Pocket Testament Leage”. Maybe it is a variant of the Sprecksell body (see brochure in post below).
“Vintage 1948 Real Picture Post Card of two Chinese men from the Pocket Testament League posing with a Willys Jeep Panel truck or van. The condition is good with some loss to the front…you still get the idea. Great addition to any collection.”
This BRC-40 is getting a bath. This postcard has a tear.
” “The Bantam Gets a Bath.” Early photo postcard of a Jeep before the name had caught on. Note the slight damage on the edge. 5 1/2″ x 3 1/2″.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay
This early 1950s postcard from Pensacola, Florida, shows a CJ-2A or CJ-3A turning onto Palafox Street, which was a main drag (still is?). I’ve not been to Pensacola . . . yet. Ann would like to do a drive down to the Florida Keys and back. We are probably a year or two away from that trip.
“THIS IS A NICE EARLY POSTCARD SHOWING DOWNTOWN PENSACOLA, FLORIDA, ON PALAFOX STREET FROM A LONG TIME AGO. I SEE THE RHODES BUILDING AND THEATER ON THE RIGHT, AND I CAN ALMOST MAKE OUT THE MARQUEE, BUT PARTS OF IT ARE NOT THERE. I SEE A HUGE BUILDING ON THE LEFT, WHICH OBVIOUSLY WAS A HOTEL,”
