It includes a matching pair of 1960 year-of-manufacture Washington plates. It has been in storage and the low price is because the 6 cylinder L6-226 Super Hurricane engine has seized up.
The body is in good condition with only minor rust spots as seen in the photos. The tailgate opens to a food cabinet and ice box that I used for camping. You will NOT find a better body to start a project or restoration with this many original parts included. All parts were saved and boxed the following are included, INTERIOR seats, trim, dash, controls, glass, EXTERIOR, engine (needs rebuilt or replaced) transmission, driveshaft, radiator, trim, emblems, lights, bumpers. We also are including a complete 1999 Chevy S10 rolling chassis if you want to go modern suspension. NO TRADES. Asking $6,000 CASH or best offer. Text or email serious inquiry only. “1961 Willys-Overland Jeep Wagon
Original 4-cyl Hurricane F-Head 134 Engine was completely rebuilt October 2016 by H. W. Welch (one of the best Willys/Jeep restorers in the east). Dana 4-Wheel Drive Differentials, Borg Warner T90 3-Speed Manual Transmission, New Overdrive Installed October 2016 makes it much more drivable on the highway.
This truck has recent paint, new interior, new water pump, new exhaust, nice chrome, new tires and American Racing Baja alloy wheels. It starts every time and runs and drives great. This is a unique car show/cruise night car that gets lots of attention and thumbs up on the highway. $19,000.”
