“I’ve come across hard times, and need to sell/trade my 1949 Willys Wagon.
It’s in very good shape for its age, and is 99% original, with a few upgrades.
I don’t really really want to throw a price out, but will say I could use a strong running full size truck or van, looks aren’t as important. Preferably a manual trans., and 4 wheel drive. Something that will tow a small household, and something ready to drive across country right now, with no major problems. I’m willing to trade outright, or throw in some cash.”
Nice!

“1957 Willy’s wagon, 4X4, 4spd manual transmission, flat head 4 cylinder engine. Body is in great shape with no major rust issues, no holes missing parts or cheap replacement panels found. Frame is solid and straight. Interior has been completely redone about 5 years ago and looks great. New wiring harness throughout entire wagon. All glass replaced around the same time as interior. New wheel cylinders, brakes, and spring kits. Engine runs smooth with no noises. Transfer case and hubs work as they should. Trans has a bad synchro in 2nd gear, you can still drive just pops out of 2nd when you let off of the gas. Has stump pulling granny gear transfer case gearing. No noises or rattling from the rears. All around solid wagon for someone to completely restore or drive as is. Asking $6,000.00 for the Willy’s which is below collector market value for the current condition.
