“Amazing Barn Find!!! The body is essentially rust and dent free!! There is some minor rust in the floor boards; but it’s all flat metal. Frame is rust free as well!! The consensus is that this wagon is the same one as this 1956 single-door Florida wagon. The only difference we can spot are the license plates.
“Restored 1957 Jeep Willys, finished in blue and white. Mechanically sound: runs great, starts right up (it has a Buick V8 under the hood). Transfer case has been rebuilt. Tires are like new.
Cosmetically: It has never seen snow since being restored, and it has won multiple shows. No bondo, this Willys was restored properly. Very clean inside and out. Has single delivery door on the rear.
Clean Kentucky title, 2 sets of keys.”

“For Sale 4 Willys Jeep Wagons and parts. 1949 wagon 4×4 with papers roll bar extra doors and some misc parts,1956 panel delivery no motor or tranny 2 wheel drive with straight axle and leaf springs still with original gold leaf patina and paint pretty solid truck full of extra parts,1960 wagon 4×4 with papers very rusty body Buick v6 drive train complete and has a pto. 1962 panel 4×4 with power angle plow complete runs but motor knocks. Also 3 extra axles and a good running hurricane 226. There is also a very clean nose 2 fenders ,hood and grille I will throw in also. There are two nice transmissions and transfer cases that go with this too. Every part and piece I have for these wagons go with the deal. $4500.00 for all of it. “Owned this for 30+yrs & reluctantly offering it up, sniffle sniff. I will get you some pix, but know these few things: DOES run, primer gray (seems to often be standard paint for Willys) and complete-price negotiable
Has the common Buick V-6 swap (I’ve installed headers) but somewhere in it’s history, got a rod knock. ‘Lived overseas a couple yrs & every other conversation home, someone wanted my Willys. Got back, pulled top of carb off, all the jets, squirts of WD-40, airhose & reassembly. Then a battery w/plugs pulled, a few crank overs- then plugs back in. Gravity feed gas can from the cowling for a few more crank overs. 12v to the coil & Boom! Just like it was yesterday. Compound low, & out from the trees.
All 14 pieces (2 cracks) glass complete- 2 piece windshield, baby…for those that don’t know..’51 after all. some windlace, weatherstrip and gauges purchased for restoration, but I’m sure long since ‘rerotted’, oops. Pics of interior (sorry, no detailing)have boxes of rubber, parts & manual)
