“This jeep is a beast. I get a lot of respect from people everywhere I go people at red lights will roll down their windows to ask about it and the ladies love it too (; it has a Chevy 307 v8 with a ford manual transmission a warn overdrive and four wheel drive with lowered gear ratios for crawling it has 33 inch tires a lift an on board air compressor all guages work it has a warn winch custom roll cage and bumpers it looks pretty mean. It has speakers as well with an old style radio it’ll do about 40 mph max because its geared so low but it will climb anything I pull stuck trucks out all day. It has a 10 gallon gas tank with two old military cans on the back with 5 gallon capacity each with a spare tire and a fold down rack for a cooler the list of mods on the jeep are endless I have a folder with receipts for all mods oil changes and anything to do with the jeep the engine swap was professionally done and we have paper work on that as well. Come check it out call me or text me if you are interested price is firm oh and it has fog lights on the front and back they light up the night for some late night Jeeping and a Cb radio if you are into that”
UPDATE: Was $2500. **SOLD**
Runs and drives.
“I am selling my 58 willy jeep! We love this thing but have no time for it anymore . I had planned to completely restore it but do not have the time or money to do it . It’s cranks first time every time and runs extremely smooth. Engine has been rebuilt and probably only has about 200 miles on it. It was used as a Deere lease vehicle by a freind of mine. 4×4 works great. I am selling it for what I originally bought it for which a great deal on this thing. ”
Has an F-head, not an L-head. Listed as a CJ-2A, it looks more like an MB/GPW.
“1945 jeep was running when parked….30 years ago! has an L head 4 cyl., witch is a bit larger than the original. thus the hole in the hood for the air cleaner. 1,450 OBO ask for John”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6500
(06/10/2015) This might be a good price.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3000
Listed as a 1946 CJ-2A, it looks more like an MB with a CJ front clip.
“New: Carb, gas tank, oil pan gasket, fuel pump, ignition parts. other brake parts.
This is considered a collectors item in many circles.
I had it running and driving but I ran out of time and money. It will need to be transported out but it rolls easily. All of the tires hold air. The only thing it needs to run is to re-install the oil filter and oil lines. It is an easy fix. When running, it smoked a little, but that is expected from a 68 year old vehicle. I have a title for it and a paper trail. It has been bought and sold a few times without the title being changed over.
This is an excellent vehicle to drive and restore at the same time. There are many parts available for it and it’s easy to work on. Own a piece of history!”
Not sure how much value is here.
“Antique Jeep C-J, No Title, not running.”

UPDATE: Joe and his wife were told (more than once) this was listed at $1600 by the seller. However, according to the Craigslist ad it is $16,000. I’d say it is worth somewhere between the two prices.
Joe spotted this at the Kmart Kruse in last night in Phoenix. Looks like a really good price to me.
Joe writes, I told the seller all about eWillys and that I would be submitting these pics and some info… he liked that idea. I don’t know much (or anything, really) about these, but I know I liked this one… and was surprised at the reasonable price.
Listed as a 1946, it looks more like a 1948 Lefty.
“It was my grandfathers. Make an offer.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $450.
Not sure how much value is here.
“I have a what was sold to me as a 1947 Willy’s, I am taking some parts off and will have this left. Has Spring Over , 3-4 ” lift springs. Body is badly rusted so really no good at all. We are currently visiting family in Boise in order to make sure my mother-in-law’s motorhome is working correctly. We plan to head out on Friday for a trip towards the southern end of the Hell’s Canyon and spend the night in Oregon’s Wallowa Mountains. We had planned to drive a backroad from Halfway Oregon through the middle of the Wallowa Mountains to Enterprise, but the road is currently being rebuilt. So, we’ll look for a remote campground in the mountains north of Richland, Oregon.
I expect there will be no service out there, so I’m scheduling this prior to our visit there.
Stevie Welsh of Strike One Media wrote me looking for involvement in a Canadian road trip. A couple european fishing stars, Matt Hayes and Babs Kijewski, will be filming some fishing adventures in Canada. Along the way, the show will showcase not only the fishing but the history, parks, waterways , geography, wildlife, people, culture and experiences available to travelers.
What they are looking for is the use of an “iconic Jeep vehicle such as a Wrangler” for the trip from Thunder Bay to Toronto in August. If anyone wants to learn more, you can contact Stevie Welsh:

“1947 Willy’s Jeep, This jeep was completely rebuilt 15 years ago, has new fiberglass body, new top with doors, rear seat with storage, spent $5,700.00 on parts alone, not counting labor. Has 4 cyclendar flat head engine, everything works great just 630 miles since it was rebuilt. To old to drive it & no place to park it. Real Sweetheart purrs like a Kitty, first $4,500.00 takes it home.”
The seller seems to be listed in the Klamath, Oregon, area, but is listing the jeep in California (probably due to the price). Looks like a nice rig. The jeep looks familiar, but I couldn’t find it in my archives.
“Registered as a 1950 Ford but is actually an early 1940’s. It has been painstakingly rebuilt from the body up by owner. Updated axles, transmission and engine. Too many upgrades to list but will answer any questions when you call.
Asking $40,000 since owner currently has $50,000 invested. Less than 1,000 miles since completion of rebuild.
Please contact me if you have any questions or would like any further information.”
Looks solid.
