UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2250
It’s a project.
“I purchase a 1952 CJ3A Jeep that I have started rebuilding, but personnel issues have put me in a position that I really need to sell it. This Jeep has had work done to it long before I got it, so it is not in it’s original condition. The engine is a F-134 not an L-134 and the transmission is out of a 1953, so I assume that the engine and tranny are both out of a 1953. I drove the Jeep before I bought it, and then took the tub off to start reworking it. The engine runs great, it has close to 105 PSI on all 4 cylinders. I had the tranny and transfer case completely rebuilt by T&B Transmission. They put in all new parts, no cobbeling 2 old transmission together to make one work. I’ve put in new brakes all the way around, new shocks, all new brake lines, and rebuilt all the wheel cylinders and the master brake cylinder. I picked up a 2 inch brake conversion kit for it and a roll bar. What I’m asking is way below what I’ve got invested. I also have the shop manual and parts manual for it. If someone has a 4 wheeler that they would like to trade, I would consider that, even if I have to put some money with the Jeep for a good one, or I would take a good crossbow or maybe a firearm in trade for the Jeep.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was No Price.
The back has been cut, but there’s still some value.
“Got a few parts from a old willys jeep, (military I believe) 40s to early 50s, flat fender style. Look at the pics and let me know what you may need. windshield may be 1960-1969 m38a1 I was told. Or could be off military jeep ambulance with non removable hartop? Prices are negotionable.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500.
It has a MB/GPW body. There’s some parts value. It’s a project. It’s very easy to climb underneath.

(10/28/2013) This is probably a DJ-3A body that’s been transferred to a 4wd platform.

Marc found this unusual Willys export truck with extra carrying capacity. I thought it was a refrigeration unit of some kind, but the side reads “Pocket Testament Leage”. Maybe it is a variant of the Sprecksell body (see brochure in post below).
“Vintage 1948 Real Picture Post Card of two Chinese men from the Pocket Testament League posing with a Willys Jeep Panel truck or van. The condition is good with some loss to the front…you still get the idea. Great addition to any collection.”
I’ve never seen an original version of this press photo from February 6, 1941. Great photo! The use of the term “Might Midget” rather than jeep or blitz buggy is notable.
“This is an original press photo. Dept- US Army Service Corps, Credit – ACME & NEAPhoto measures 9 x 7inches. Photo is dated 02-6-1941.”
UPDATE: Blaine forwarded the video for the Mini-Beep:
Struck-Kit offers what they call a Mini-Beep Kit, which you can use to build mini jeep-like vehicles. You can even build an amphibious version.
I guess there’s a reason no one has wanted to bid $.99 for this . . .
“Excellent condition. Large logo on the front chest. Adult XL.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
This isn’t perfect, but it has a great vintage feel with the old top and posse tag. There are several Douglas Counties in different states, but I’m guessing this was from Nevada?
DID A BIRTHDAY VISIT PAST FEW DAYS IN CENTRAL CALIFORNIA WITH COLLEGE BEST FRIEND OF OVER 40 YEARS AND FELLOW WILLYS JEEP ENTHUSIAST… WHEN I SHARED WITH HIM THAT I WAS LISTING MY 7 YEAR PROJECT DOING FULL MECHANICAL REBUILD(in another listing currently), HE ASKED ME TO DO THE SAME FOR HIM AS HE DID NOT NEED 2 JEEPS FOR HIS 5000 ACRE HUNTING RANCH.BEING OTHER CJ WAS ONE OF THE FIRST 5000 PRODUCED, I TOLD HIM TO PART WITH THIS ONE.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
It’s not all stock, but has potential.
“1945 Willy’s Army Jeep
Daily Driver with a 1970’s restoration
Owned since the 1980’s
Was a radio jeep with capacitor box under dash on passenger side and a junction box for batteries right side of passenger seat
Has the Original canvas top, steering wheel, gauges, chassis, body, fire extinguisher and lined battle helmet. The canvas top has a tear on top and where it connects to the drivers side area
Missing the gas tank, the vehicle was operated with a plastic gas tank in back of vehicle like a small boat. Also missing is the 6 volt battery….the car is started with a 12 volt battery then disconnected when driven. There are some extra parts in back along with original issue tail lights
There is a clear title showing ownership from the 1980’s to present
This vehicle has been garaged on and off in it’s life ….looks like it just came off the battle field now.
Everything works except the gas gauge due to no gas tank
The engine smokes a little now.
If you can send me a digital address…..I can send a few video’s (AVI)of the jeep running and the engine sounds.”
UPDATE: Was $7500. **SOLD**

The ’63 Tuxedo Mark III was the first production model with chrome trim on all latches, bumpers, side steps, grab bar and more. (02/15/2014) The seller has spent quite a bit of money on it so far. The Warn summer hubs look good.
“HERE IS MY 1948 100% RUST FREE WILLYS CJ2A AND 7 TEAR COMPLETE MECHANICAL REBUILD PROJECT THAT I COMPLETED THIS PAST WEEK AND JUST GETTING A FEW MILES ON IT NOW….ORIGINALLY SOLD IN CALIFORNIA TO A PROMINENT CALIFORNIA INDUSTRIALIST AT THE TIME, THIS CJ2A HAS LIVED INDOORS IN THE DRY CALIFORNIA DESERT ALL OF IT’S LIFE UNTIL I WAS TOLD OF IT’S AVAILABILITY 6 YEARS AGO.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5000.
(10/16/2013) This has some underside rust.
“This began as a project 3 years ago. The jeep has been in a barn on the Ragan ranch for approx. 25 years where it sat after the brakes went out. It was moved to a different barn in Santa Ynez where I got it and brought it back into action in 2011. I use it now for my lawn care work in town. It has all original parts except for an alternator now, a 12 volt system and a solid state ignition. I have the original points distributor as well. It runs nicely and it is what it is. Yes, the horn works. I NEVER ride around with it without an overwhelming response form about Everyone who sees me. I ride with the windshield down. I arrested the surface rust. The under side needs some attention. Some small rust holes in the low side above the floor. The 4 wheel drive works sooooo well. I have two wheel brake cylinders to install for better braking.”
**SOLD** Was listed at $1500.
Looks good for the price.
“Selling my dj5 ice cream truck. It’s super fun to drive and gets a lot of looks. Still has the pa speaker and ice cream music. It only has 112,xxx miles and runs good. Interior has one seat, and plenty of room to add seats or put for a cooler for ice cream. Has an air trumpet horn, and a high amp battery. Could use new brakes and new gaskets on door seal, and heater needs fixed. It is right hand drive and takes a little to get used to but definitely is fun.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2950.
Looks like the rear axle has been changed out for a wider one.
