Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Cool book if you like poker.
“You are bidding on a great vintage paperback entitled Poker According To Maverick Written by the Suggestion of Willys Motors Inc.Kaiser Industries – Dell Books #B142 Original Price .35¢ Copyright 1959 October First Printing – A Dell First Edition – Illustrated by Leon Gregori – featuring ABC-TV James Garner and Jack Kelly. Front and back covers show discoloration, creasing , slight tears, spine is straight, pages are firmly attached, no creasing, dings at the top and toe, some paper loss, inside front and back covers show browning around the edges, ink writing and stamp from a car dealership in VA on the inside front cover, pages are browned, some ink writing throughout, no creases, some small tears, pages edges are green with discoloration, no writing. I’ll be glad to provide additional pictures if you are interested.”
This has a half cab and lots of surface rust. Auction is November 8th.

Here’s another Scrimshaw knife. It features a CJ-5. Another version featured a flattie.
“A Color Scrimshaw Scene that I have done of a Willys Jeep and 3 Canada Geese. I signed and dated this knife on the bottom left. A Certificate of Authenticity that I will sign and date will be sent with the knife.
Please Note: When I do Color Scrimshaw, I do NOT paint the color on top of the design. I re-cut every line where each color is to go and apply those colors down into the cuts. This is a very time consuming process, but one in which I feel the results are well worth the added effort.
I have, in my opinion, a very low starting bid with NO RESERVE, so you collectors can decide what this knife is worth.

The jeep is made of Ron Ron.
“Beautiful Jeep Willys model made from exotic woods of Costa Rica.
This is an appreciated souvenir from Costa Rica and a great conversation starter.
Size is approximately 1/18 scale. This collectible car model is not a toy, so wheels don’t turn.
The Jeep Willys model in this auction is made from an exotic wood named “Ron Ron”. There are other exotic woods used in our models as “Cocobolo”, “Guayacan”, “Guapinol”. The whiter wood inserts are made of “Teca”.
Please see the wood colors of the other cars in the last photo. These cars only have lacquer clear coat protection ! Costa Rican exotic woods colors are beautiful and vibrant !
Please note that our models are very different than the $1 imported chinese toys, mass made from tinted pine, widely available in US and other countries. These are original products from artisans of Sarchí, Costa Rica, of a family owned shop.

“1948 Willys Farm Jeep. Virtually zero miles since full rebuild. Includes rare factory 3-point hitch.
Super nice shape and a ton of fun. Always kept inside. OK, so inside is in a shop so pardon the dust – it washes right off, really.”

The tires on this look unusual.
“This is a ’41-’45 World War II jeep body on a CJ2A chassis. I’m pretty sure the body is a Ford GPW. No title. I have the rolling chassis with the body, fenders, hood, windshield frame, and grill. No engine, but the T90A trans, transfer case, and axles are there. The It has four really good old Armstrong Norseman 33-inch tires, cool for those of you I to vintage ‘wheeling. Body is average. Minimal rust, has some bondo. The tire tubs have been notched for more seat clearance, but I have patches cut from another Jeep. Must go, no more storage. OBO. I may start to part it out, so let me know what you need.”

“Mid year 1946 Willys Jeep, Model CJ-2A. Rebuilt engine, transmission, transfer case and differential. Good top with doors (not shown). Roll bar and tow bar. 7:00-15 tires with good tread. Rear seat. Hood and drivers seat needs TLC. Runs great, locking hubs, new battery. Ready for the road, trail, ranch, or whatever.

This fun little guy will take you any where. It needs some wiring and TLC for the leaf springs. It runs and drives. 4×4 works. Comes with soft top and a clean title. New seats and i’ll throw in all my tools to work on it with. I don’t have room to keep em. It is not on a non op. I drive it around base. I had big plans for it but duty calls.

This is a mix of parts.
“For sale is a 1948 Willys jeep, model CJ-2A. This jeep was restored by a previous owner about 12 years ago. The body was totally repaired and is still nice. It cranks, runs, stops, and drives well. The jeep was restored as a military model and does present the military look. A lot of work was put into this one. You couldn’t start to duplicate it for the $4500 that I am asking. It has always been stored inside. It has a clear Florida title.”

“I have 3 M38A1 Military Jeeps for sale. They Need to be restored. I went to Virgina to pic up 2 of them. $4000 invested on the jeeps….Many Parts and some new. I have spent $ 1600 on ebay for some parts also..The 1954 has a 24 volt system and does run good. The 1952 runs but needs rings.. These will be worth alot of money done up. Just dont have the time anymore. They were my dream to finish. Anyone tha knows how to do body work could have lots of fun. And i have the title for the 1954”
