Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Scott spotted this at Ford GP #9512 at the corvette forum. We suspect it sold, but no one at the forum has confirmed it.

Dun-Rite Plumbing? Why would someone want to project competency through their business name, yet spell it incorrectly? It just doesn’t seem done right. The seller notes the van wasn’t done right, either.
“1964 Jeep CJ3a Fleetvan; imagine a 7 ft. tall WW2 Jeep. Originally from California, superficial rust only.. I bought it with no engine but installed a 1991 2.5 liter Jeep engine with an AX5 transmission and transfer case. If desired you can swap the front axle and make it 4WD.
NEW wheel brake cylinders, new brake hoses, new brake lines. The rear end was converted to Discs in the 1970s, pads are good and the rotors were turned. Front drums were turnd before new shoes were installed.
The 1964 one cylinder brake master was swapped out for a newer two chamber from a Toyota Tacoma. Mechanical clutch was replaced with a new Wildwood hydraulic master; the clutch on the 2.5 engine is only a year old.
One of the corner windows is cracked, but readily available from the Glass Dr. et al, it’s flat glass. The gas tank is shiney inside. A late model speedo and gages are included, I have the original 6V unit.

“BARN YARD FIND! Been parked for 25 years. We did not receive to much information on the vehicle. It is a 1951 Willys Jeep with a clear title. 4×4 with lockout hubs. Jeep also has a heater, which from my research is an option. I had several people look at it for me and i was told it was a cj2 or cj3, i am not sure. The mileage shows 84,278 and i dont know if that is accurate. The jeep did come with keys. It takes a 6 volt battery, but does not have one.Left door and right door are complete with glass mainly just surface rust. Both doors open good with the latch. The hard top is made by Koenig iron works MODEL # 325. On the hard top by the back window there is rust with holes on the bottom below the window by the floor. The hood does have some rust holes. Oil looks good. Still has anti-freeze also.Everything under the hood does look complete. Frame looks good for its year. Windshield has surface rust around it. Drivers windshield has white stuuf on the bottom of it. Clutch and brake pedal feel like they are good. Body and floors very rusty. 5 denman N.D.T. tires (non directional tires), tires look good, spare tire has never been down, did not need to add air when we picked it up,”

This looks good from a distance, but does have a few issues that need some attention. Note the enlarged rear wheel wells.

This runs and drives. I am sure the steps are strong enough to support the rollcage should it roll, right? It’s possible that is a CJ-5 cage someone had jury rigged into place.

Die Vier im Jeep (Four in a Jeep) was the original title of this 1951. It was filmed in Austria. Anyone seen it? I found some neat posters about it. Here’s more on Wikipedia.

I found a variety of posters at comicartfans.com. These were all posted by the owner of the originals, Roy Mann.
The Catholic Herald Newspaper published this photo on page one of the November 17, 1944, issue. The caption reads, “MASS ON A JEEP! Troops of the West Yorks Regiment attending Mass conducted by Chaplain J. Nolan, of Bradford, Yorkshire, in a jungle clearing in Manipur State.”
