Here’s an unusual brochure that appears to target women.
“You are viewing an original 1949 Willys-Overland Motors Jeepster lithographed sales brochure. It is numbered VJ 3M-I-500M-4-49. There is a small tear at the bottom of it near a sticker that was used to seal it. It is in good condition otherwise.
It measures 4″ by 7″ when closed and opens to 8″ by 14″.”

“1948 Willys CJ2A Jeep – This is an off chassis complete restoration. The frame is perfectly straight and solid. This jeep was very well taken care of and cared for. All the parts in this jeep are just about brand new. Transmission and transfer case have all new parts where needed. The engine is a rebuilt by professionals and only has 288 miles on it. The 9″ brakes have been replaced with 11″ drum brakes both front and rear, all parts are new. It also has a duel bowl master cylinder – new. It has new front and rear leaf springs and accessories. Bumpers are new, front and rear. The engine has been converted to 12 volt system. It has a brand new carburator, radiator and various engine parts. It has a warn Husky overdrive – New/Rebuilt. It has all new gauges, tinted glass in windshield, steering box has been rebuilt, and windshield wipers are new. The heater box runs awesome – it throws out plenty of heat. Shocks are new front and rear, tires and rims are new – BF Goodrich All-terrain T/A L-235/85R 16″. It has a complete original reproduction brand new wiring harness from Maine Vintage Wiring Harness Company. It also has an electric fuel pump which runs perfectly. The body is straight as an arrow with base coat clear coat paint. Many other new parts, too many to list. This vehicle can be inspected by anyone interested local to Salem, New Hampshire. I do have the original rims and tires that came with the vehicle, they will go with it. It also comes with a grey bikini top not shown in photos. The overall condition of this jeep is next to perfect. The jeep rides very well, the shifing gear box is tight and the overdrive is great. This jeep is a real head-turner. It’s great at the beach, people keep asking me hundreds of question when I pull in.”

“I have 2 wagons. One is a 1950 and the other is a 1951. The 51 is complete with wverything there and not been touched. The 50 has been taken apart and sand blated and primed. The 50 was going to be put on a 4×4 frame before i bought it. It is a rolling original frame with extra parts as the other owner had 2 to make one. He kept the 4×4 Bronco frame. Steve forwarded this photo of a Mighty Mite at the Chicago Auto Show yesterday.
Coincidently, yesterday Ann’s mother saved part of an episode of Pawn Stars for me to view (Episode called PONY UP from December 2011), which included a man trying to sell a Mighty Mite to the Pawn Stars guys for $22,000. They offered $13,000 (based on their expert’s opinion). Unfortunately, I can’t find a free way to view that episode.

“This extremely well preserved and rare military 4×4 that would be an excellent add to your military or rare vehicle collection. Only 1,045 M422 were produced and it is assumed that only 5% are still in existence. This is a 1960 restored American Motors Mighty Mite M422, serial number 547.
The truck has been 98% restored from the ground up and shows and runs wonderfully.

As far as I know everything is complete and original.
The mighty mite was the first military jeep with posi traction front and rear and with its lightweight 1700 lb. aluminum body seems to go anywhere. Another advantage to the aluminum body is that there is no body rust at all. The frame and other steel components of this truck are all rust free and painted marine corps green. It has an M38 style windshield (as do most M422). This is very rare collector quality vehicle but yet capable as a daily driver or off road play toy. Car, Railway Maintenance, Mutigage , 8-Man, 60 HP Gasoline engine Willys Model MB Motor Car / Speedster
If this is not the most unusual and the most rare WWII vehicle I have had the opportunity to sell it is definitely in the top three. It was built for the U.S. Army Transportation Corp by the Kalamazoo Manufacturing Co. Kalamazoo Michigan. It is serial number 5913 USA number M1013 and was delivered January 1945. What makes it interesting to me is they used everything they could from the MB, purchased right from Willys. The engine complete with oil filter, air filter, regulator, battery, bell housing and T-84 transmission and all of the gauges are the same as the MB. They even used the MB fuel tank and radiator. It is 4 wheel drive and that is accomplished through chain drive and a forward-reverse lever which gave three gear speeds in each direction so the transfer case was not needed. When it was found and purchased 5 or 6 years ago, it was still in very good running condition and had never been allowed to set outside. Most of the vehicle is wood and due to inside storage for 60 years 95% of the original wood was saved in the total restoration. You can see in the as purchased photos (yellow trim) how good the wood was, only the side rail boards had to be replaced mainly from being kicked and broken. Before restoration it was used on several Sunday rail trips in the Jackson Ohio area. It will go much faster that you will want to drive it. As you can see from the photos it was professionally and totally disassembled rebuilt, researched for paint scheme and reassembled. With the wood being in such good condition it was easy to sand down to the original colors and markings. It was shown at the 2006 MVPA convention in Dayton Ohio.”

“Up for bid is my CJ3a. I hate to part with it but with 3 kids I just don’t have the time neede to finish it. I have bought many new parts and have put many hours into this. It comes with the original L134 engine. T90 3spd transmition, Dana 25 and 44. It is all original other than the wheels. I am not a mechanic so my goal; was to get the engine 95% and then take it to a mechanic for the last 5% to get it running. I have replaced the following. spark plugs, distributor cap, points, and all to do in the distributor (for a tune up), new plug wires, belts, hoses, fluids, oil canister filter, gas tank, gas line, head light bezels, and much more. It has a few rust spots that I wanted to repair I even have the sheet metal but have not yet had the time. It also comes with a very unique and expensive Koenig Hard Top. “I’m selling a 1948 Willys Jeep CJ2a with a fully enclosed cab. I have been told the hood has been modified for a newer motor. Great restoration potential. I know it needs brakes & battery. One flat glass pane in rear cab is broken but all other glass intact. 6-volt electrical. front mount PTO winch. It was started about 15 years ago but has sat since. Clear title. Asking $1,500.00 but will consider serious offers. Will need to be moved on a trailer”
This has a PTO and may need some body work.
“1946 Willys. Vehicle has: rebuilt engine, changed to 12Volt, new clutch, radiator, rebuilt rear end, replaced springs, 2″ lift kit, brakes done and work good. Shifts all gears, 2/4 wheel works good and has Warn hubs on front. Steering has usual play which most of it is the Bell crank bushing. Body is not perfect and had floor pans replaced prior to my owning it. Jeep also has PTO take off on transmission. Engine starts easily and maintains excellent oil pressure. New Best Top on vehicle with doors. Jeep has a heater system under dash, not hooked up to water system so I don’t know condition of it. Needs cosmetics for sure! OD green doesn’t do much for it. There is a strong tow bar hook that goes on the front with it. The vin plate numbers on firewall and frame match. Georgia doesn’t issue titles on vehicles prior to 1965. They utilize registration slips which transfer ownership to someone when signed and sold. Was going to fix up and add a snowplow, but I now require something with Automatic shift due to injuries with my hip. The pictures were taken several days ago. Replaced batteries on camera and overlooked setting the date! Sorry about that!”
