Dan spotted this one. With a rebuilt motor and tranny, this might be a good utility driver.

(08/28/2012) The seller doesn’t seem to know whether this was a real Fire Truck or not, but probably wouldn’t be hard to verify.

“1947 Jeep Cj2A. Good running stock L134 4 cyl engine. Warn over-drive. Cruises easily at 50mph. Running gear is stock and in excellent condition. Steering is up-graded with GM steering column with turn signal stem and GM steering box. All lights work. Drives straight. Has new top and new muffler. Good tires. New wiper motors, arms and blades. This has full floating hubs in the rear, so this could be part military or part early VEC CJ-2A.  However, there are a few other details that suggest this just might be a collection of various parts.

This needs some brake work, but other wise looks solid.  It’s been modified slightly, especially the running boards on the side.  I think they look pretty good.

Body and frame are solid, rear fenders are modified and has full length running boards. 31 in.
tires with good tread but some weather cracks.Has push type front bumper with plow lift, pump
and valve under hood for a 4 way snow plow. No blade included. A neat old truck to fix up.

This might be worth a look.

“We are selling an un-restored 1945 Willys MB. It has been stored indoors for the past 8 years and is definately in great condition overall. Jeep is a late World War II production with a mixture of Ford and Willys parts. Jeep is complete without any cutouts or modifications to frame or body. Body is structurally sound and solid. (Found Small Cutout near Fuel Filter-see Photos) Usual but minor rust/rot along gas tank tub of body running from front mud guard to rear wheel well. Also Hat Channel Rot. Basic cut and patch. Bumper gussets are original and intact with minor welds from having attached bar stock for a tow bar. See detailed pix Dash is complete and uncut. Only a civilian on/off key and Lighter have been added. Glove box door with original plate included. All 3 seats are original and included including 3 cushions. Rear cushon is zippered and contains the orignal canvas mud doors. Windshield is not original but a good repro. I removed the original glass and mounted to the new frame and is included T-84 tranny in excellent shape. Ford stamped Pintle hook was original to jeep
