UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500.
(06/21/2012) Looks like the rear bumper was in the way of the exhaust, so it was sliced off. I’m sure I would’t put too much weight on the tow ball.

“I am selling my un-restored 1945 Willys MB. It has been stored indoors for the past 8 years and is definately in great condition overall. Jeep is a late World War II production with a mixture of Ford and Willys parts. I am asking $9,499 OBO including all of the rare original parts and a lot of spare parts. Can provide bill of sale and current California Historical Plates. Buyer is responsible for pickup and shipping from 92630.
Take a look through these Pictures while reading the general description. This is a Great Jeep for a full frame-off restoration or just pop the parts on and drive. I have almost everything for this jeep and it includes many rare original parts such as the blackout lights and BO Markers and taillights, spare tire carrier, jerry can brackets, canvas mud doors, Spartan Horn and Rear seat.
Jeep is complete without any cutouts or modifications to frame or body. Body is structurally sound and solid. (Found Small Cutout near Fuel Filter-see Photos)
Usual but minor rust/rot along gas tank tub of body running from front mud guard to rear wheel well. Also Hat Channel Rot. Basic cut and patch. See detailed pix
Bumper gussets are original and intact with minor welds from having attached bar stock for a tow bar. See detailed pix
Dash is complete and uncut. Only a civilian on/off key and Lighter have been added. Glove box door with original plate included.
All 3 seats are original and included including 3 cushions. Rear cushon is zippered and contains the orignal canvas mud doors.
Windshield is not original but a good repro. I removed the original glass and mounted to the new frame and is included
T-84 tranny in excellent shape.
Ford stamped Pintle hook was original to jeep”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5551.
(05/31/2012) This looks solid.
“This Jeep has been in my family since the early 1960’s and was used for hunting. It was purchased from Archer Brothers in Hayward CA. It will go anywhere you point it. Comes with a Warn 8000 lbs. winch. For the hunter, this Jeep is perfect. Unlike a side by side, this is street legal and will take four people just about anywhere your gutsy driving will take you. The motor runs great but needs to be painted. The body is ok but has many small dents from previous hunting trips. For the restorer, it could use bodywork, fresh paint on the motor, and new upholstery on the seats.
The Jeep was torn down to the frame and sand blasted, primered, and painted with PPG epoxy gloss black paint.

This picture comes from Elizabeth, Colorado. Conrad is checking out the beautiful scenery and, perhaps, contemplating the sale of his jeep, because “Lizzy” was sold a few days ago to her new owner Mark. This CJ-2A is very stock and even has its original black paint (quite rare).
Mark plans to take good care of it and preserve it as is. So, despite being sad it had to go, Conrad is happy it is going to Mark and Mark is thrilled to get it. Even better, Mark and Conrad have become friends.
This isn’t a book so much about a jeep as it is about the burning of a jeep. The story centers around a court case, in which a man and his father are being tried for burning an army jeep.
I have yet to read it, but it’s on my list.
You can learn more about this book at Amazon.com.
UPDATE: Was on eBay. **SOLD** Might have been used in the movie Prince Avalanche.
The seller just bought this, but now wants to sell it. No indication as to why. I’ve never seen one with a top like this (but I don’t’ follow them too closely).
“This is a great deal. I purchased this jeep 2 months ago for $6000, but now I need to get rid of it.

THIS IS A VIETNAM ERA JEEP WITH AN AFTERMARKET BODY AND ALL M151A-2 RUNNING GEAR AND POWER PACK.
THE ACTUAL YEAR IS UNKNOWN, PROBABLY IN THE 70’S, AND IT IS TITLED AS A 1993 WHICH IS PROBABLY THE YEAR THE BODY WAS MANUFACTURED.
PAINT IS PRESENTABLE BUT CLEAR COAT IS PEELING IN PLACES, SOME SCRATCHES, AND NO MAJOR RUST.
THIS BODY IS QUITE TRUE TO THE ORIGINAL AND MUCH HEAVIER GAUGE STEEL.

UPDATE: This seller has redone several different CJ-2As like this. I may be mistaken, but it looks like the same paint that was used on the body was used on the motor.

“Super cool CJ2a 1948 Willy’S Jeep
Jeep has a full cage roll bar.
custom lift, bumpers, tires, 327 Chev engine, Dual pipes.. a mut see”
The body, windshield (square washers) and grille appear to be from an early ’46.
“Great running CJ2A Jeep with lockout hubs and starts great with strong engine…. body not so good but good enough for a cottage beater or workhorse around the farm… has a Wisconsin title and original rims with digger type tires…. brakes do not work, lights probably not also, but more uses than a 4 wheeler ATV!!…. Had planned on putting a different tub on the jeep and fixing it up but I have to many jeeps already and its to good to part out…. parts alone are well worth the 850.00 so the price is firm… will consider taking a different jeep in on partial trade, or jeep parts as I do have racks of parts that I use for projects…call 920-856-65three nine…. scammers wanting to send check with shipper need not respond…. ”
UPDATE: Was $2500. **SOLD**
It’s a mud runner.
“open to trades call with your trade or 2500$ Moter is a chevy 151 4 cyl”
UPDATE: Was $1500. **SOLD**
“For sale is a 1960 Willys Cj3b. This jeep runs and drives well but is certainly a bit rough looking. Engine is strong and doesn’t smoke, tranny stays in gear, transfer case does not whine and 4wd system all works well. Body does have rust here and there, dents are common place. The Warn winch up front is in great shape and works well with about 100′ of cable. Licensed and titled, fun to just beat around with or use for a father-son bonding(bondo) project. Pretty good tires and most lights work. $1750 OBO.”
I’m wondering if those mini-terras are newer retreads. They appear in good shape.
“1948 Willys CJ2A Jeep. Mostly orgional and unmolested. very good base for a full restore project. or have a nice toy/farm/woods jeep with just a little effort. I was planing on restoing it but have not had the time to get started on it. Don’t want to see it sit, when somebody else could be using it. It has the orgional Go Devil flat head engine, 3 speed transmission, with high low 4×4 The previous owner changed the seats, converted it to 12volt, with an altanator, and added an electrit fuel pump. the plugs wires and fuel filters are fairly newer. it also has manual locking warn hubs The jeep is a project, and has not been drove in over a year, so it will need to be trailered. The orgioanl plates under the hood and in the cab are there and readable. I have a title for it These old jeeps are very hard to find, and even harder to find this complete, and has not spent it’s life as a mud bogger. price is $3200”
I just not sure what the vision was here . . .
“i have a 1985 bronco frame, and a 1949 willys jeep, its a custom mud truck, it has a 302 motor and 4 barrel carb. custom lift and 36x 15.5x 15 mud tires. it has two bucket seats, it has a few other things needs a little work, its a good project, asking 900 obo. need to get rid of it, moving soon must go. if you have any questions call or text chad at 941-526-3233”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
“This Mahindra was restored to original except for the following:
The original Willys style overhead valve 4 cylinder has been replaced with a GM inline 1990’s cast iron 4 cylinder like those found in the small rear wheel drive GM cars and small trucks of the late 70’s & 80’s.
This Jeep has been totally restored by a Jeep enthusiast in New Zealand, the country in which this CJ4A was sold new.
Please view posted photos of restoration.
This Jeep is in impeccable condition and runs and drives as great as it looks and the 4 wheel drive works properly. This restored Jeep can not be duplicated for $15,000.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500.
Runs and drives.
“Jeep runs and drives but needs brake work and tlc. Will trade for ATV or bang bang. Call with other offers.but I found my deer lease.truck so that is not an option.”
