Here are two brochures for the ‘Maverick Special’ Station wagon.
The Selouki 1/4 Ton Truck Model 4WD-25T
UPDATE: CapnJohn obtained the following info related to Selouki:
“We don’t have a photo of the front of this vehicle but this manual covers the Selouki 1/4 Ton Truck model 4WD-25T.This Jeep like vehicle was produced by Highway Products Inc, Kent, Ohio.
Highway Products, Inc., Kent, Ohio was formed by Joseph Thomas ‘Joe’ Myers in 1960 to manufacture truck bodies for specialty markets such as mobile post offices. In addition to mail trucks and mobile post offices the company also manufactured small boats for both military and commercial use, missile launchers and engines. In 1968 Highway Products introduced a 25-passenger bus and sold it under the Twin Coach name. Joe Myers sold the company to Alco Standard in the early 1970s. Alco Standard bought the Cortez Motor Home line of products and manufactured the motor homes in the Kent, OH production facilities of Highway Products. Approximately 900 buses were built under the Twin Coach name when production stopped in October, 1975, due to bankruptcy. Joe Myers also served as the President of the Davey Tree Expert Company and was married to John Davey’s granddaughter, Marilyn Davey.“
Glenn spotted this unusual manual.
Hanging at Herm’s during Sunday’s Swapmeet
I wanted to thank Marty and Herm for sharing some warm and dry space for Sunday’s swap meet in Puyallup, so stop by and say hello. I’ll be more specific about our location after we visit Saturday for the setup.
I’ve got signs, books, and maybe event some t-shirts (if Ann and I can perfect the emulsion process, which is proving slightly problematic). Ann got some shirts and a jacket embroidered for the event, so it will be easy to spot us. I will also have some examples of the Dolan’s posters, too.
Here are our embroidered shirts:

Seeking a 1947 CJ-2A sold in 1996
JJ is looking for the following jeep:
“I bought this 1947 CJ2A in 1996 from a guy named Martel south of Chicago in Palos Park, Illinois for $600 and sold it for $600 in 1997 for $600 to an elderly gent who was from the area east of where I lived in Tinley Park, Illinois. It had been well restored before I owned it but financial problems and mechanical inexperience back then in my misspent youth prevented me from proper upkeep. It was painted a metalflake emerald green and sported a unique front bumper and a vent cover in front of the drivers side on the front panel. I have no record of the serial number from the engine block and it had no title. I was wondering if anyone had seen it? Ever?”

The Cammo FC .. known for its stealth?
“Needs restored. Havent run for a couple of years. AT that time ran good and all gears worked in trans. Its been sitting. Has a Hurican 4 , 4cylinder engine and a manual trans. Ladder rack in picture doesnt go with. Brake pedal falls to the floor , brakes not working. Would consider trade for a cj7 jeep needing restored.”
Year? CJ-3A Boerne, TX **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was Make Offer.
“Willys Jeep CJ-My old 4×4 jeep needs a home with someone that has the time to keep her going. She needs a lot of work and tires and paint but was running when I last started her several years back.
This is the kinda project you can get going and take through the brush without worrying about scratches or dings…it ain’t pretty…it’s a ranch/hunting lease tool.
It’s a project…not something you can take and drive…you’ll have to do some work first. I don’t have the time to keep rebuilding the original carb with it’s leather accelerator pump diaphragm…a smart rebuilder would probably just put a newer carb on it. Needs brakes, seats(frames are there), tires, TLC.
lowballers…forget it…I don’t have to sell…just thought someone else might like a neat toy to play with since I don’t use it any longer.
Will considered trading for semi-auto-legal-modern firearms or real-“Damascus steel/handmade”-samurai swords…partial trades considered ”
1953 CJ-3B Houston, Tx eBay
Here’s a nice CJ-3B. It appears to have a replacement body. It looks nice. I’m surprised the back is solid. It looks like it came that way rather than be a custom job.
“1953 Willys Jeep. It has a new body so there is no rust what-so-ever. Dana 44 front and rear axles. Small block Ford 260. Original 3-speed gearbox. Overdrive. 2 fuel tanks. New top. New custom gauges. Custom wheels. Custom Ranch Hand bumpers front and rear w/tow bar. Locking hubs. Aluminum radiator. Dual exhaust. This thing fires right up and runs perfectly. It’s a no-issue Jeep that doesn’t need a thing.”

Call or email for more information or pics or to schedule a test drive.”
Modified Chev 151 Engine Lake Stevens, WA **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $500
“This is a very strong 4 cylinder engine that fits well in Willys and flat fender jeeps. This particular engine has VERY high compression due to high performance forged pistons from a DZ302(this 151 is half the size of a 302 with the same bore). It will require high octaine gas!! It was built to run hard while steep climbing at low rpm and has been through the Rubicon numerous times. Additionally, with the combination of this Webber 2 barrel carb this engine can run virtually stait up with out over flooding the floats or stalling out.”

Year? CJ-3A? Bozeman, Mt **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $11,500
(09/11/2011) This jeep certainly looks nice, but I can see nothing to suggest this is a 1945 CJ-2A. To me it looks like it might be a CJ-3A, but maybe the frame is from a ’45.
“This is a 1945 Willys CJ-2A World War II vehicle with the 4-cylinder gas engine and a 3-speed manual transmission. It was restored about fifteen years ago and has been under boxes in my mother-in-laws garage since. She has driven it maybe 50 miles a summer though has religously started it a couple times a month. The engine puts out 60 horsepower and this Willys weighs about 2200 pounds. It starts right up and drives nice. It does have turn signals and is street legal. 4-wheel drive works and it gets lots of attention everywhere it goes. It is a 2A but does have a 3A windshield. Has original owner’s manual. $13,500”
1952 M-38 Knoxville, TN **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $8000.
(10/02/2009) “Just so you know, I only accept cash payments. In this particular case, the money transaction and transfer of vehicle title will take place at your bank or ours, (your choice) plus proof of insurance required before you drive it off our property. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS MADE!
We have over TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS in this vehicle, and thereby truly understand that JEEP stands for Just Empty Every Pocket!
Due to inheriting another vehicle, plus a lack of enough storage space to keep everything garaged, as well as not wanting to see this vehicle sit unused, we are looking for a new home for this Beauty. We are NOT selling because we need the money, so don’t waste your time or ours if you are not willing to pay the asking price! It is a STEAL at TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS and no less will be considered.
Now is your chance to get a fantastic custom made item worth much, much more for only TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS, less than half of what we have in it. (Have a folder full of receipts to prove it) It took 10 long years to put this baby together from parts. The paint job was chosen 2 months before 9-11-2001. (How ironic!) The whole thing was finished and driven the first time right before the first anniversary of 9-11. A newspaper photographer came out and took some pictures and it made the special section the Knoxville News Sentinel did for the 9-11 Anniversary featuring what people were doing to commemorate and remember the tragedy. We have a copy of that paper in our files.

Marx Jumpin Jeep **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on Etsy for $40.
” have for sale an old windup toy called the Jumpin Jeep by Marx.. It is tin and from the late 1940’s after the war. It has been well played with and does have quite a bit of rust. The jeep, the front tires and one large tire isn’t that bad and the lithograph design is in good condition with minor rust. There is one large tire that needs to be replaced or repainted. The toy looks as though it was left outside laying on its side with one back tire perhaps in the dirt for some time. The bottom of the toy also shows signs of rust. The key is still present but it has been overwound. It moves a little but I can’t wind it. Overall I would rate it good simply because the lithos are still in pretty decent shape. The size of the toy is 5 1/2″ long about 4 1/2″ tall and 4″ wide from back tire to back tire”
Here’s pictures of a couple other jumping jeeps that realized $210 at auction in 2008.

1951 M-38 Southern California eBay
This isn’t stock, but appears to be a solid rig.
“This is a 1951 M38 Willys Jeep. Originally built for the US Military, it was sold as surplus in 1963, still unused in its wooden crate. It was bought by a family who converted it back then, to a GM V6 Fireball engine, free wheeling front hubs, and GM truck front brakes. It was used by this family for the next 46 years as a hunting vehicle. I bought it 3 years ago with 7,500 miles on the clock, which may or may not be accurate. I have added 2,000 miles since then.
I have had the vehicle completely restored during the 3 years, and just about everything has been either renovated, replaced or repaired. EVERYTHING! I use it as my local daily driver, and it has always been a hoot to drive, with about 160 hp instead of 65 hp. Everything works perfectly. It has a complete all weather Beechwood cover as well. It also has a towing bar.
It has been welcomed in all the 4th July parades and gets more attention at car gatherings than Ferraris’!
It is not 100% original, but it does look the part, and everyone smiles when they see it. You can even invade small countries at the weekend with it.
There is a reserve on it, equal to about what I have invested in it during my ownership, but I will not disclose this, so please do not ask.
Obviously there is no warranty, implied or otherwise, and I reserve the right to end the auction early as the car is for sale locally.”
1959 CJ-5 Fruita, Co $6500

Please contact Jeff at 970-216-4911”
1966 CJ-5 Norman, Ok **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $8500
Doug spotted this nicely rebuilt jeep.
“1966 CJ5. Jeep Kaiser/ Willys frame off restoration great shape. I just don’t drive it. In 1966 they did all the best things to the Jeeps. Because the old flat head was so weak Jeep added the Buick Dauntless V6. Tons of power and able to handle any road. The tires have less than 100 miles on them. If your are into classic jeeps this is the one for you!”
