1948 CJ-2A Williamsport, PA **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was an auction.
The estate liquidator is asking too much for this. Note how rusty the windshield is. It does have a warn OD.

1946 VEC CJ-2A Callaway County, Mo $2500
Somebody likes painting with purple (or indigo or violet … you be the color judge).
“This is a 1946 cj2a. It is considered an “early” model with a vin 19,xxx. It has a title. It has an “F” head motor from a later model which is a little bit taller and so there is a hood scoop to accomidate the carb. It runs good and has a solid body that has been patched up. The only issue is it needs a new clutch assembly($125) oh yeah and its painted purple.”
More updates in the morning
I got a few updates done before my FireFox Browser crashed, taking with it the remaining links I was going to post. So, I’m going to sleep and will try again in the morning!

1958 Wagon Hamilton, OH **SOLD**
UPDATE: Was $4500. **SOLD**
(07/26/2011) Lots of updates to this wagon, but it looks like it could use some new paint.
“1958 Jeep Willys Sedan delivery customized 2 wheel drive. This Jeep was customized back in the early 1970s. Has AMC 290 V8 engine with automatic transmission and V8 AMC rear end. Jeep does have air conditioning but it does need charged. Received a new set of Keystone classics and BF Goodrich T/A tires in 2008. All drivetrain components were out of a 1969 Javelin. This Jeep was driven daily in Florida up until the mid 1980s and has been parked until 2008. Ready to drive but does need restored because of lacquer paint showing its age. Jeep has spent its entire life in Florida until 2008. Does have some rust but less than most its age. Front end tilts for easy access to the motor.”
Gordon’s 1954 Unimog 401
Gordon volunteered to share images of his unusual Unimog 401, which he calls ‘Grog’. It’s a pretty cool vehicle. Gordon got it from Cold War Remarketing in Colorado; in turn, he got it from the Swiss Army
Gordon writes,”Grog is completely street legal, I had him licensed and insured for a while. Top speed with its behemoth 25HP OM636 is 35 mph. (Probably far short of that here at 6000’ elevation). I have a few other 636 engines and have toyed with the idea of trying to turbocharge one of them, but that’s pretty far down on my list. Mercedes also used the 636 in the early Ponton cars (180D).”
Early CJ-6 Body? Quartz Hill, Ca $1200
The seller believes this is a prototype CJ-6 body. Perhaps someone can take a closer look, as I am no expert on CJ-6s.
“Early 1950’s Jeep CJ6 body tub (this one is similar to the M170 ambulance)
I think this is a prototype body made between 1953 and 1955 after the military version but before the civilian version was released. All tool boxes are factory items, it has the passenger side drop where the spare tire was located in the military version – but there’s a toolbox lid on it. It does not have the 24volt connection on the passenger side, it does have the “JEEP” logo on the side. Included with this body are the dashboard (original plus one that was installed over the top of the original), the steering column, and the cowl vent lid. The dashboard is taller than other CJ versions by a couple of inches. The left side of the dash has a glove box (you can see it in the picture) with the lid. I think I’ve still got the taillights for it as well.
It also comes with the 50 gallon large fuel tank under the drivers floorboard (you can see the filler housing on the left side behind the door). I think this was a military-only item as I’ve never seen this tank in a CJ model.
Unfortunately some previous owner torched this body off of the original frame, and cut the bottom of the steering column off as well as some body mounts. Everything is repairable, and there is only a little rust (though there is some bondo in the passenger side behind the door). The body looks straight – it’s about a 20 footer if it were painted.
I have a few other willys and jeep parts available – 86 CJ7 body with windshield, 6 point rollcage for CJ7, willys truck body and frame, cj5/6 heater vent plenum
If you’re looking for a CJ6 body this is a lot cheaper than the Omix-Ada bodies out there – plus it’s got some unique features.”

1953 Truck Detroit, Mi Trade for Harley or Ratrod
This looks nice.
“I have a very nice 1953 Willys truck, it was a pickup but converted to a flatbed, original 134 four cylinder F head, dual range 4WD, three speed, all original, 12 Volt conversion (new rebuilt alternator last fall), Michigan title in my name, it has been converted to a flat bed with the bed from a 1936 Ford, finished wood oak deck and side rails, very good deep lug tires, RUNS VERY WELL, great “Cruise Night” vehicle or old car show item. These Willys pickups in good running condition are getting extremely difficult to find, they are almost non-existant (check on Craigs List)………

I would place the value at about $8k. Email with any offers, dont be afraid, all I can say is “No”, just looking for a new toy, additional info on request. Please…………..no tire kickers, old car freaks or photographers.”
