Here’s an interesting idea. I just ran across a website called postlets, which allows users to create an advertisement once and then have it syndicated to other ‘classified sites’ such as craigslist, facebook, google base, etc. What it doesn’t do, at this point, is list items on auction sites.

Willys Parts Jeep out of Forks, Wa $1500
UPDATE2: This jeep is in Forks, Washington. Price dropped to $1500.
I’ve lightened up the pictures, so now I can at least tell it’s a Willys of some kind. I can’t tell much more than that. There’s no information in the ad about it, just a picture.

1953 Austin Champ Lawrenceburg, KY **SOLD**
As I discussed in this post, the original jeep was possibly based on the Austin 7. Here’s a later model Austin, of which I’ve only seen one other for sale in two years. A spare Austin Champ is also available.
“1953 Austin Champ Runs and drives. Mechanically sound and ready for cosmetic restoration this is serial #10515. Does contain the Rolls-Royce engine. For those interested please look at http://www.austinchamp.com/ for more info and specs. Also available for increased $$ is parts spare that is cosmetically better but not running.”

The German Schwimmwagen
On the heals of yesterday’s GPA, I thought I’d do a brief shout out to the Schwimmwagen. You can read more and see more pics about the Schwimmwagen at Brian’s site. Here’s a pic (below) from July 12 1944 (from Brian’s site as well). Here’s some youtube videos.
1949 CJ-3A Fair Grove, Mo $4200
1950 CJ-3A Escondido, Ca $3900
The rear compartment is covered in diamond plating, so it’s a little hard to verifty the no rust claim.
“Jeep is in good running condition. No Rust. Accept trade plus cash. Please call Angel

My sense is that this has some updates to the drive train, but i can’t tell for sure. The seller will take some unusual trades.

1950 CJ-3A Hesperia, CA **SOLD**
Lots of great upgrades on this CJ-3A. It kind of has that classic 80s build. It looks like there are two different paint colors on the body.

1953 M-38 Jackson, MS **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $7000
I like a lot of things about this jeep, but I don’t get the bumpers — those are bumpers, aren’t they? As far as I know, M-38s were stopped in ’52.
“1953 Jeep Willys M-38, Buick V6 “Dauntless” Engine, Warn Overdrive Trans, external mounted power steering box!, 4-wheel drum brakes, rebuilt 4-barrell Holley Carb, aluminum race headers, new high performance cam and lifters, aluminum radiator, MSD Ignition!, K&N air filter, chrome thru-out interior and undercarriage and engine compartment, cloth/vinyl seats, Goodyear Wranlger CSA (very nice and expensive), brand new skyjacker (red) shocks, powdercoated frame, rear under floortub foam fuel cell, race seatbelts, emergency brake, 3 speeds with high and low and a 4×4 high and low, custom guages, hidden kill switch, key ignition, military fog lights, FULLY LINEX-D CUSTOM ROLLCAGE AND TUB BOLTED TO FRAME”
My Build: My windshield frame painted
Here’s some before, during and after shots of my CJ-3A windshield rebuild. Special thanks to John for the vent bracket. Mine broke off and John created a new one for me. It works beautifully. I was able to de-paint and can reuse the windshield gasket, so now all I need is the glass and the cowl rubber and it’s completed. Necessary repairs included welding up 8 holes and welding the crack in the frame. Next, finishing the brakes.
BEFORE PAINT REMOVAL:
1949 CJ-3A Yukon, Ok **SOLD**
“1949 Wyllis Jeep CJ3A, flat head 4cyl…this jeep runs and drives just needs some tlc. 2500.00( have been told it is worth more). ”
1947 CJ-2A Maricopa, AZ **SOLD**
“… Ok, it is its original red. It has a full cage. It has a 350 Chevy V8 swapped in with a 400 Turbo Automatic. The transfer case is 1 speed and the jeep is FT 4×4. It has “Emergency Drive” which locks the transfer case and makes it drive like a standard 4×4 instead of the FT style. It appears to have about a 3″ lift on it and is sitting on a damn-near brand new set of 31×12.50 R15 BFG Muds (the old style). For my rockcrawling needs, this guy is too big of a project to get it where I want it. For someone who loves Willys or wants a Jeep to make nice… this is a great platform to start. I’d like to get $3000 for it or do some trading….”
1947 CJ-2A Queen Creek, AZ **SOLD**
This has a bed extender.

It’s not the prettiest thing.

1948 VEEP Tacoma, Wa For Trade
This doesn’t appear to be an M-38-like body, as I don’t see cutouts on the driver’s side. This is unusual.
“I have a 1948 willys (vw powered) aka veep. I am looking to trade it for a 71′ or earlier vw bus, bug, or ghia. the veep has vw bug suspension good working brakes and good tranny. it does not have a motor in it at this time it takes a standard vw aircooled bug engine. It had a motor in it through the fall and winter i just took it out last month. thats how i know the about the tranny and brakes and all the electrical good too, also has a good top no tears. the seats need some upholstery work which i could fix if we make a deal. so if you got something you want to trade contact me. I have a clear title in hand”
1965 CJ-3B Clarkston, Wa **Status Unknown**
UPDATE: Status unknown. The price had dropped to $2500. The seller included an overdrive with the cj3b.
The license plates suggest this jeep is from Colorado, though I don’t have any record of this being for sale recently. It looks pretty solid.

1954 CJ-3A? Independence, MO **SOLD**
It appears this is either a M-38 body or a replacement body. For $300 it looks like it has a variety of parts, including an almost full cage.
“it’s got a great body on it, very straight. I don’t have the title for it, but it’s a great jeep for parts or whatever you wanna do with it.”
