All new canvas (Beachwood Canvas). The Axles have been rebuilt, the tranny and transfer case have been re-sealed. Complete Steering system has all been rebuilt. New reproduction Ford radiator. New Paint, Tires ,braking system, hoses, wires, ect. You name it, its been replaced with new parts and ready to go. Alot of detail and time went into finding new “F”(Ford) marked parts all the way to the bolt heads and tires for this restoration”

frontloader_1Brian forwarded this to me.  I love this thing.  I bet the body was toast, so the builder decided to make due with the frame and turn it into a true utility vehicle.  The seller deleted it from Craigslist, so I dont’ know whether it sold or not.  But, I thought it was worth showing everyone.  This might have been a Willys truck?  (I’ve added an example pic at the bottom).

John bought himself a trailer a few months ago and decided he wanted to turn it into a multipurpose trailer.  The result is a tent that he erect on his trailer in about 5 minutes, something he can use for camping or for storing the jeep.  Here’s what he writes:

“I’ve had this thing in my head for over a year. After we got the trailer in Feb, it all came into view. I just had to get my upholstery guy to see the same thing. There was more work to get him to see it than actual work to make it! There is a reflective panel in the top that really cools this thing down. I’m working on a hot water system for a shower & I’ll have a generator also. ”
