“I am selling a mostly Original 1943 Ford GPW WWII Jeep. It Has matching Frame and Tub Data plate numbers (109596) The Block Is a GPW Block and the Head is a Willys. Everything Seems to be original ford and most parts have “f” script markings. The engine is stuck but I have been soaking the cylinders for a month or so. The T-84 transmission and D18 Transfercase seem to be in good shape. The axles appear to be original and there are Dualamatic Locking hubs on the front. You can shift through all gears.
The top has no marking and I don’t know anything about it. It comes with five 15″ wheels that have had the center torched open. It also comes with two 16″ jeep wheels with NDT tires. The original gas tank is missing and there is a non original tank in the back. The tub has some dents and holes in it (bullet holes) there is some rust in the floors and some on the sides as seen in the pictures, but is in decent shape for it age. The front frame horns were extended to fit a large PTO winch but the winch is no longer there. It has a Koenig model 10 single speed PTO mounted to the back of the transfer case. I do not have a title for it.”
Has Rear PTO. Looks like the top may have been customized (or is custom).

Looks like a good price. The Meyer hardtop appears in good condition. Does this have Cutlas PowerLocks or something else?

“1953 Willies metal hard top and doors. the glass in the doors is cracked but all of the parts are there. Price is negotiable.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $9695
(08/15/2018) This appears to have a CJ-5 hardtop, hence the reason it fits oddly at the windshield.
“Nice running and fully operational 1951 Willy’s CJ5. Has a manual winch on the front that operates like a comealong ratchet. Has some type of custom rack system for carrying boards, or long pipes ETC. Hard top and rear bench seat. Equipped with an external rear box for carrying tools or luggage ETC. This is a perfect Jeep for restoration or getting back to your back 40 in old school style to stretch the fence lines! It starts up and stays running on the first try.”
No Updates Thursday. They’ll return Friday.

“51 M38 Willys Jeep with artic top. All original parts.”
Looks quite complete. This was made for 3 years (1950, 1951, 1952), not two years. Also, not the last of the flat fenders.

“This a military M38 Jeep. Only made for 2 years. The last and best of the flat fenders. Converted to 12 volt. Has lots of extra parts and goodies. Has a full winter cab and heater.”
I think I found this photo on Facebook last month. To me, this looks to be a hardtop contract from Willys-Overland with tops supplied by Worman (based on my discussion in this Worman-Related post). I tried to find out more about the contract number, but all I could find was a mention at G503: https://forums.g503.com/viewtopic.php?t=189059&start=75
UPDATE: Price dropped to $125.
(10/16/2018) Might be worth a look. Missing rear door.

“aluminum “Boston” cab for Willys Jeep CJ2A fair shape, suicide doors, rear door missing

This top is similar to a Porter & Reed top, but has some different assembly strategies. It might be home made.
“1947 Willy’s CJ-2A project Jeep. Ran when I bought it a few years ago but had a bad head gasket leak. I have replaced the head gasket, intake and exhaust gaskets, cleaned the valves and replaced the valve gasket, plus I have new gaskets for everything else. New plugs, belts, welded a hole in the gas tank, new water pump, new thermostat and new oil filter. I have also installed a tow bar. Still needs new battery and the tires are worn. Recently moved and just have time or a good place to wrench on it plus my son lost interest in working on it with me so figured it’s time for a new home. It needs the carb re-installed, fluids, battery and should be ready to run. Has some electrical issues but the lights work. Great project keep for someone to finish.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $350.
The hardtop alone is worth the price.
“Willy’s cj3b motor gone. May good parts, axles, windshield frame, frame. Has Tran and transfer case. Has hard cab. $350.00”
Funky paint job. Has diamond plating over the right rear wheel well.
https://bend.craigslist.org/cto/d/1951-willys-cj3a/6727731318.html
“Nearly all original. Running gear and body in good condition, no rust or rot. Koenig hard top, custom paint,
diamond plate corners. This Jeep has been used as a hunting rig for the last 57 years? at our cabin in Eastern Oregon. Stored inside and never abused. Has had regular maintenance, oil and coolant changes, tune ups, etc.
This is a good solid little Jeep that we just don’t use any more. License is current and we have title.”
Appears in good shape.

Dan shared this one. It ppears to have the dual master cylinder upgrade. Has a Koenig hardtop.

“1947 cj2a willys jeep. This jeep was restored frame up a few years back with photos. Runs and drives great for a old jeep. Has new wiring and brakes. All stock with rare Koenig hard top everything works.”
Matt’s selling this hardtop. Looks like Koenig hardtop, mid-1960s, and probably a 550 Super Full Cab. The sliding side windows, the slight angle and the front top of the door window, and the angles of the roof fit that model. “1959 CJ-5 Complete Hard Top for Sale
This hard top and doors came off of a 1959 CJ-5. It was well maintained throughout the years and is in complete functional condition today with only a few spots containing surface rust (where the Jeep’s body would have touched).
All glass is intact and damage free
All windows function
Hardware to attach it to your Jeep is not included
Beautiful wood paneling on roof and doors
Manufacturer is unknown to me, as there is no id plate attached.
This top is steel and heavy. It is a minimum two man lift.
Yes…it is Pink! The story is a farmer in the UP bought the CJ-5 Jeep new in 1959 with the hardtop. After some gentle use (no dents whatsoever on this thing!), the Jeep given to the farmer’s daughter on her 16th birthday. She immediately had the entire Jeep professionally painted PINK. All the wood trim was removed, it was sprayed and reassembled.
The gentleman I bought this from restored the Jeep, but only had plans for summer fun, and had no intention of driving it in the winter and did not want the hard top. I bought it with a friend for a winter Jeep build, but that project has been abandoned for a CJ-2A project instead.
I will not ship the top. That is not possible, so please do not ask.
I will only accept cash as payment and I will only sell this to a real live person, standing in front of me.
If you are oversees for work and your Brother’s X-wife is going to come take a look at it, she had better bring cash, a pickup truck and be able to dead lift 150 lbs.
I will not talk money on the phone, text or e-mail. I have some wiggle room in the price, but I know how nice this 59(!) year old top is and I will keep it before I give it away.”
