“I have a 48 Willy’s CJ2A for sale. It has a hard top and doors, factory front passenger and rear seats, and an aftermarket heater to keep warm. It has been upgraded to a 12 volt system and currently has a 70s ford 4 cylinder engine in it. The drive train is all original and I have the original go devil engine that turns freely. I had picked up this jeep with dreams of restoring it, but life got in the way. There’s rust, and she’s got character, but overall the jeep is in running, driving, and almost stopping condition. You can put in a little time and have a cool willy’s to drive around in, or if you wanted, most of the parts and extras are there to restore to its former glory. Email me with questions or for pictures, Craigslist isn’t letting me upload them for some reason. Asking $2200 obo.”
Maybe some parts value given the Meyer hardtop and parts in the cargo area.

“The serial number matches to ones manufactured in 1943. By what I can tell online, many army jeeps received a year designation when the were sold to the public, not when they were actually made.
This jeep was purchased by my Great Uncle in 1945 when he returned home from WWII. It has been in the family since. He and his brothers only ever used it to plow snow (there is a plow included if you want it).
The white top is a Korean War era top that they added later. 9,000 miles. Not a typo. It wasn’t driven much. (I’ll change it to the exact mileage later – I don’t have that info on me right now).
I HAVE THE TITLE. I know this is very important and many people don’t have the title for a jeep of this era. It costs $500 to replace a title.
