“Here’s a 1954 Willy’s High Hood Jeep, has hard top, warn overdrive, extra steering wheel, new gas tank, two military rims on the front and new oversize brakes still in the boxes. Very little rust and seats are still in good shape. Motor does not run but everything appears to still be there. This would be a great restoration project for an individual or Father and Son. Asking $2800.00. I will not part this out. Have pink slip in hand”
It’s not running, but there appears to be value here.
“Willys jeep clean no dents tub strait re built f head al stock factory alum. Hard top not running fuel pump and carb issues. Call or text (559)706-5793”

“1953 Jeep Willys CJ3B. Great running reliable Jeep willys originally purchased by US Navy for base use as depicted on plaque installed on dash. Not a show quality vehicle but not a rust bucket and no areas needing to be addressed. Original color was orange for naval base use to identify allied vehicles. Used on weekends with my kids for parades, jeep events, and beach trips. It has a great running 4 cylinder with manual transmission .Starts right up every time,no leaks, Has tow bar, 4 Wheel drive works as it should with no mechanical issues whatsoever. Tires installed within last year. Has spare tire not mounted. Hard top can be removed and comes with alternate windshield and glass. Seat covers are like new. Interior has been completely covered in soundproofing to reduce exterior noise. All lights, blinkers, turn signals, radio, work perfectly.
Absolutely nothing wrong with this vehicle just not being used enough to justify keeping. Classic insurance is only 85.00 per year and qualifies for classic QQ tags and registration.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $7250
Well, it looks solid, but not sure it is $7000ish solid.
“I have a all original 1953 willys cj3. Flat head 4 cylinder go devil engine. Green body, and comes with hardtop. if you need pictures email me.”
Bidding starts at $1.99.
“Beautiful new professional print (4″ X 6”) from a old 35 mm slide (KODACHROME TRANSPARENCY, no date imprinted) of a WILLYS JEEP CJ-3A (I think) with a HOMEMADE WOODIE BODY . Neat looking Willys Jeep with a wooden enclosure over the driver/occupant compartment. Don’t know the year for sure. No idea where or when the picture was taken. Written on the slide is, “Feb 1952”. Much better than scan, crisp and clear. Any distortion or glare is from my digital camera. Ruler does not show up on actual photo.
Please note, my prints are not made from a home computer, as some have questioned, they are printed by “Denver Digital Imaging Center” a division of “The Slideprinter” in Denver, Colorado U.S.A. From their web site: “For 33 years The Slideprinter has set the standard in making prints from transparencies… We are still the experts at making beautiful prints from slides…”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $500.
For $500 looks like a good parts jeep. It doesn’t run at the moment, but has a Kelly hardtop.

Also it has 2 engines the orginal 4 cylinder and the buick v6 found in the later 1960’s willys, also it has the orginal transmission and transfer case, has a rear dana 44 and i also have an extra dana 44 with it and too many other parts to list. I also have a clean and clear title for this jeep. This is a restoration project, frame body and hard top has surface rust but has no rust through spots just on the rear cross member. Transmission and transfer case will need overhauled and it does not run.”
Runs and drives.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $325. It’s a Kelly Hardtop.
“New price – move fast to grab this nice hard top. Purchased to fit my ’43 Ford GPW, but I decided to go with all canvas. Nice condition. Photos below. I have owned it for three years, during which it has been stored indoors. Includes hard top, two small panels for leading edge of door, and two doors. Condition good, other than a small, non-rusting crease low down on one door.
I looked at the manufacturers plate. It seems to say model F 23-300,
which seems to be what would fit a cj2a or cj3a… I think. Maybe later models –
you tell me.”
This has some unusual mods. I’m not sure what the ‘stripes’ on the side are. Nor am I sure what is on the hood.
“1962 Willys Jeep, flat head four cylinder. Some spare engine and body parts. Very few miles put on it since I’ve owned it. Must see to appreciate. Body and under carraige in great shape. Call for more specific details. Asking $5,000 or best offer. Realistic offers only please, they don’t make these anymore. Call anytime 731-925-6370 ask for Reggie.”
UPDATE: This was on eBay in March of 2011 and for sale in Pennsylvania. It has different tires now.
“1963 Willys Dispatcher DJ3A 2dr delivery car with 2-wheel drive, sliding side doors, lift up tail gate, very cute and has many applications. We were going to do a restoration on this and just don’t have time. This Jeep is pretty rough but comes with a set of new floor boards and we will accept any reasonable offer. The Jeep does not run, but the engine is not stuck. Both rear springs are bad and it currently has no brakes.upholstery needs done as well. We have the original chrome bumper and guards for the front (needs plating). It will need to be trailered for sure. <P> One of these in fully restored condition sold for $18000 on ebay last year. SO, if you want an ambitious restoration project with an upside, here it is. Call Bob for a good deal on this little, rare Willys.”

These are pictures from the previous auction. At the very least, the DJ-3A no longer has a license plate.
