Here’s a rare Canadian version of the M-38 built by Ford.  Nicely restored rig.

“Buy a part of history. 1952 M38CDN Willys Jeep. One of only 2,135 assembled by Ford Motor Co. in Ontario, Canada. Completly rebuilt L134 “Go Devil” flathead engine. All new military components. Original 24V electrical system. New clutch, rebuilt carb, rebuilt fuel/vac pump. New brake lines, shoes, drums and wheel cylinders . Three speed T90 transmission. Relined fuel tank with new sending unit and in tank filter. This Jeep still has the original body which shows normal wear and tear. Original canvas top, side curtains and doors (in fairly rough shape). 46,892 miles with only 1,200 on motor. This looks like a very nice CJ-6.

“One of a kind Jeep CJ-6 with complete frame off restoration. The Jeep runs and drives great and has approximately 800 miles since restoration. The Jeep has never been driven on a wet road and has been garaged since resto. I have many spare parts that go with this jeep like: original generator, leaf springs, spare engine (not overhauled), spare seat frames, carb., fuel pump, 2 heaters many speacialized jeep screws and nuts. This Jeep had 24,500 miles prior to restoration and now has 800 miles on a 1964 Hurricane engine. This engine was already overhauled and cost me the same as the overhaul for my engine so I kept the original as a spare, it turns over and ran prior to removal. The jeep has been convereted from 6 volt to 12 volt with the installation of an alternator, it has no scratches dings, dents or rust anywhere it is in perfect restored condition. I also have the complete door frames with original fabric and the frame for the top (top bow), none of the canvas items have been restored. Best tops have a top that fits for approx. $750.00 This Jeep is equipped with a PTO front winch and the front windshield is the opening vented type with the curved sides which is extremely rare. Every item on this jeep was overhauled from the blinker switch to the entire brake system and drive train. Engine is out.  There is a minor title issue.

“Up for sale is a 1960 Forward Control FC-150 truck. This is an amazing original condition truck that has been kept under cover for the last 10-12 years I’ve owned this truck. This truck has the original two-toned paint still on it! There is NO rust in the usual places for these trucks. No cancer (rust through) that I can see, just minor surface rust. This is the first year of the wider axels for better stability. I was converting this truck to a Buick V6. I have most the parts, including the engine, bellhousing, flywheel, clutch & exhaust. The engine is currently NOT installed in the truck. Installed in the truck is the original transmission, with WARN OVERDRIVE. It is a 4×4. The drivelines are installed as well. It does have the engine cover that goes inside the cab! Back fenders are slightly modified, but could be returend to original shape. Modified to fit a 5 gallon gas can on either side. This was a good idea as it adds weight over the rear axels. Breaks do no work in the thuck however, the emergency break does. Front windshild is in good shape, which is the important one! Back & side windows need glass replaced. The side windows do roll up & down. Tires hold air but are old. I have the title to this truck. However, the husband signed over and the wife did not as she had passed away. Oregon DMV said that to correct this You need to get a death certificate which can be obtained from the state or county. OR if you turn in the title to DMV and it shows the person as deceased, there is no issue.

I can’t say I’ve seen a double barrel shotgun shifter.  This does need a little work.

“Up for sale is a 1951 Willys Wagon with a newer rebuilt Chevy 283 motor with a 350 trans, runs real well. Wagon has custom exhaust, vintage octogon wooden sterring wheel, new tires, great brakes, all lights work, custom double barrel shotgun shifter, with the original BLACK License plates! Wagon was lowered 3 inches and has a real nice stance. Interior is all there but will evenutally need some updating, has original bench seat, with a slot in the back for another one, original wood paneling on the floor, and gauges. Windows have some cracks but i think it adds charecter seeing they are all original, windows go up and down as they should but are a bit tight. Doors both open but will need some work to get them to open, close, and lock as they should, all pretty standard for a car thats 60 years old. Only rust spot is right below the drivers side cowel, no other rust noted. The bottom was completly sprayed with undercoat protectant POR 54, the car really looks clean and O have yet to see antother one on the road.

Overall runs really well, hits 65 mph on the freeway no problem and will run all day, no overheating what so ever. She leaks oil as all old cars do but nothing out of the ordinary, it does have slight blowby coming out of the valve cover vents, needs a PCV valve installed.
I have the hood and the front fenders and they will come with the car, they will need to be extended about 5 inches to fit the front end again due to extending the front grill to install an aftermarket electric fan. Easy work and can be done at any metal fab shop.

Want a car that turns heads every day, this is the one. Would make a killer surf wagon or beach crusier!

Looking for $6,900.00 obo or trades worth the same value, possibly a little up or down. Not looking for an car or truck newer than 1970 unless its a muscle car, prefer running and street legal with all documents. Vintage motorcylces are a possibility.

(05/08/2012) I saw early pictures of this project.  Bryan’s done a good job bringing it back to life.

“What you are looking at is an original restored 1945 WWII Ford GPW Jeep. These have become quite rare. Nearly all parts are “F marked” from the factory all the way down to almost every bolt! This Jeep is nearly complete from top to bottom and is mainly all original. All that you see on the Jeep goes with the Jeep. The body is in very good condition. The front floor has been repaired along with all the hat channels. The rear floor was replaced. The bottom of the floor and top of the floor has been coated in bed liner to protect the metal from future elements. The transmission Is the original T84. For a 67 year old vehicle, this Jeep looks great and is ready for you to hop in a go. Its ready for that around town drive or that WWII reenactment. The engine runs perfectly with great oil pressure and no smoke and is an original WWII engine top to bottom. The brakes have been reworked, and all the electrical replaced including the gauges. The tires are new 600-16 6 ply military NDT tires; thats the original style from the factory. The data tags and frame are number matching! The Jeep has a clear title! Sold as is.

In 2005 -2006 this Jeep went through an engine rebuild, new upgrade wiring, t-case rebuild, front differential knuckle seals, bearings, Rancho shocks. I have not done any restoration to the body, it is the same as I acquired it.

A little history of this truck: previous owner purchased it at an FBI auction in Florida. It had 7″ of lift on it. They brought it back to Toledo, Ohio where it sat behind a building getting rocks thrown at it, where we bought it. I got it running within 3 days with carb rebuild but only on 5 cylinders. Took out the scary lift kit and engine the next winter and went through it along with the transfer case and clutch. The wiring was mouse eaten in places so a total rewire was in order. Then came brake lines, M/Cylinder, fuel lines (3/8″ stainless), front knuckle seals and wheel bearing pack. Amsoil 80w90 in all trans, t-case, front and rear diffs.

It’s not all in original form or function, some improvements have been made to the electrical and mechanicals. but it is a driver and head turner whenever I blow the dust off it here in Toledo. I’ve had it to the GM Powertrain Park N Shine show many times and have been blessed to meet a few of the people that worked at Jeep that remember working the assembly line building them, just to see the expression on their faces to see one again. I always let them or the young ones sit in it.

This sounds like it has had lots of work done.  It might be a solid runner.  It appears to have been changed to a single lever transfercase.

There’s been some good work done on this jeep …. and then there are the bumpers.

“This is the first year of the “CJ” (Civilian Jeep) after WWII. This Willys Jeep has been fully restored and upgraded in several areas. The entire stock drive-train (flat-head 4 cylinder engine, 3 speed transmission, transfer case, drive shafts, and axles) has been rebuilt and restored. The chassis, including all the steering gear and leaf springs has been refurbished. The body is new and rust free. The electrical system has been converted to 12 volts and all the wiring and switches, etc. are new. A modern package of 6 AutoMeter gauges is installed. Late model Jeep seats with seat belts are installed. A new Bestop convertible top is included. Five new 15 inch wheels wear new BFG 235/75 All-Terrain Radial T/A tires. The front and rear are guarded by custom built double tube bumpers with integral hitch receivers.”
