“1955 Korean War M38A1 Willy’s Jeep that is in excellent condition. I have receipts, work order, maintenance logs going back nearly 20 years. This jeep has had a lot of time, effort and money invested into it over the years including a full engine overhaul (at a cost of nearly 3.5K– nothing was skimped. Vehicle has approx 2700 miles since engine overhaul. I currently drive the jeep when weather permits in parades and military funerals. The paint is from Quantico U.S. Marine Base and is Marine Chemical Resistant paint approximately 8 years old. Every thing works on the jeep. Gages, horn, lights and has new spark plugs, wires, new radiator and has a very hard to find military antenna. This is a 24 volt system that has 2 new military batteries. This is not a frame off restoration but everything else is 100 percent. All new canvas on seats and top. There is an AM/FM/CD radio
with 9″ speakers mounted in two ammo cans in the rear of the jeep. Five new military tires and tubes”

Lots of great details about the build included within the description.
View all the information on eBay
” This is an Arizona titled (clean and clear) 1949 Willys Pickup built on a stretched 1997 Jeep Wrangler frame with a three-link front, 4-link rear, one-ton axles, manual transmission, 505 cubic inch Dodge/Chrysler RB Big Block engine. There are many many details that went into this build and I will try to list them here, but may miss some or forget some. Any really interested parties need to come see this truck first hand and ask questions. I reserve the right to cancel the auction any time in case of local sale, or if I decide to keep the truck. The truck drives great on-road and is extremely capable off-road. It has plenty of power, and turns heads everywhere it goes. Everyone loves it from Rednecks, to Hippies, and everyone in between.
Built as a Jp Magazine project Vehicle there are 8 or 9 3-4 page articles on the build. To see them Google: “Jp Magazine Wicked Willys”
You can also Google “Wicked Willys Ultimate Adventure” for more info on the truck and the UA trip
The truck, since I finished it in june of last year, has been on Petersen’s 4-Wheel & Off-Road Ultimate Adventure for 2016 (that included about 2000 miles of on road and trail driving) Over the Rubicon, Isham trail near Trona, CA, and part of Fordyce. Its also been on a few trails in AZ and all over Moab during Easter Jeep Safari 2017. It drives over almost anything the driver aims it at and is very stable off-road. I’d love to keep it, but I like to build 4x4s and can’t keep them all.

“1953 CJ3B Jeep Original Paint New Brakes New Radiator New Carburetor Original owners manual w/ spare key taped inside Have original wheels Very little rust”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $9500.
Looks nice.
“For sale is my 1946 Willys Jeep CJ-2A. Asking $9,500.00 o.b.o. The CJ-2A was the first civilian Jeep model ever produced after WWII. The Jeep is in great running and cosmetic condition. It had a frame off restoration about 5 years ago. Body, frame, transmission, transfer-case, axles are stock/original (However, I can’t prove that they are all 100% original to this Jeep or what you might call “matching numbers”, as there may have been major components replaced over the last 70 years of this Jeeps life). The engine has been replaced with a very strong running carbureted Chevrolet 4.3L V6 with a modern alternator and electric fuel pump.
The Jeep starts right up and runs strong, has a nice heavy clutch and a smooth shifting 3 speed transmission. The body is original and has had some new steel welded in on it (inevitably, there is some bondo to smooth out the patches) in various places but the work is well done and the Jeep looks very straight for an original 1946 body. There is no rust or bubbles anywhere on the body. The hat channels are perfectly solid. The frame is also rust free and 100% solid. All 5 wheels and tires are like new (installed last summer) with only about 25 miles on them (zero miles on the spare) since then. The tires are Firestone NDT military style. Other things done to the Jeep in the last year include: 4 new shocks, both transmission mounts, new shift boots, new fuel filter, new air filter/air cleaner, transfer-case front output yoke and seal, transfer-case pan gasket, all fluids (transmission, t-case, coolant, F/R diff’s, steering knuckles, steering box, and engine oil) changed.

Has a variety of mods.
“350 Chevy engine, 700 trans, mustang ll front suspension, power steering and brakes, air conditioning, extremely reliable, drive anywhere, not a show car but gets a lot of attention, good body, new chrome”
Nice looking Jeepster.
https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/cto/6199476922.html
“This is an exceptionally well preserved 1950 Jeepster. Original everything, but runs well and starts easily. If you are looking for a classic you can have fun with now, or if you want to restore it to a “like new” condition, this is the Jeepster for you. Comes with the original radio and heater. Floor matts appear to be original.
I can’t tell if the paint is original, but it does appear that the original color was red (Firewall is red) . The cowl is black, and looks great, but does not seem to be original. Top and side curtains are usable, but need to be replaces. The body is very solid. I can’t find evidence of repair, bond-o, rust issues, etc.
I don’t know a lot about the car’s history. It most recently had a Kansas title, and I was told it spent many years in use as a parade car.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $7500.
This sits on a CJ-7 frame. Looks like they did a good job adapting the body to the frame.
“1947 Willy Jeep on CJ 7 frame. Has a V-6 engine that runs great with a dual exhaust. Built for rock climbing Has special transmission for climbing. Has 35 inch Mickey Thompson Tires. Road ready and road worthy–legal for off road or highway. This jeep made the front page of Rock Climbing magazine volume 47. Well built rig. Will go through anything. Much better than a side by side.
