It’s a pretty clean jeep overall. Seller notes the paint isn’t all that great, but it doesn’t look all that bad in the pics either.

“I have a Willys mb2a Jeep for sale. It’s a Mb slat grill body on a titled 1947 cj2a frame. The Jeep was a frame off preservation done by the previous owner. The frame was cleaned-painted etc. The body mounting brackets were relocated. All of the brakes were replaced, exhaust, engine rebuilt-painted, all new oil lines, hoses, water pump, fuel pump, filters, lines, radiator boiled out etc. It has brand new wiring and has been converted over to 12volt(maintaining 6v starter). All the lights including-headlights,gauge lights, tail lights and blackout lights work. Almost everything has been addressed. The body is a slat grill Willys script body (Bensinger) and has some original parts as well. I’m installing the tiger eye reflectors on the back and removing the stars. It has brand new Beachwood canvas seats and headlight covers. Runs and drives very well! Clean and clear title (1947 willys) model 2a. I have Reciept for engine rebuild and body(5,000) .
I’m located in myrtle beach S.c asking 13,500
Will trade for a lower mile diesel truck in good condition. Also interested in double axle car trailer.
Will be adding pictures additional pictures

The M-38 looks solid, but that top sure could use some tightening.
“I have a beautiful 1952 willys m38 for sale. This vehicle is ready to drive! It runs and stops beautifully. Its been owned and preserved by a collector since 1969. The vehicle has very little rust. This is one of the nicest m38 I have run across. The body, steps, hat channels , and floors are almost completely rust free just surface. The passenger underseat tool box is rust free(even has the original jack and tire iron). The motor is clean and runs great! It still has the original carb as well as battery box(always missing). Its 24volt and looks to have all original style wiring harness in great shape. The interior has the matching data tags, gauges, switches etc. Lights work. The canvas seats and top looks to be original and are in great shape. The doors, and side curtains can be removed. Very rare to find a Jeep preserved and as complete as this one. It looks like it’s been frozen in time. Haven’t even washed it yet! The 4 wheel drive works great and the transmission shifts smoothly and is tight. The one thing it could use is bushings in the steering box as it is squeaky 15 parts or just a greasing. Clean and clear matching title!”

“It’s pretty much all original, 225 Buick V-6, 3 speed manual trans, 4×4. It just had a tune-up with a new HEI ignition and new 2 barrel auto choke Holly carburetor.
I’ve only owned it for a few months, I originally bought it to build a Crawler but soon realized it would be a shame to cut up a clean survivor like this.
It was repainted by the previous owner, it’s not perfect but there is zero rust and it has lots of character.
It also comes with a metal top. $6500 OBO.”
UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $9900.

(05/07/2017) Needs some exhaust work.
“I am selling a near complete restored 1944 Ford GPW Army Jeep from WW2. The vehicle has a recently rebuilt Go-Devil Engine, carburetor, and radiator. A truly accurate restoration with the only modification being the 12 volt battery conversion. The comes with many original items such as a canvas summer top, first aid kit, axe, fuel can, and more. The vehicle still needs the some minor work on the exhaust which causes the fuel pressure to drop and cannot drive far until this final problem is resolved, however the vehicle idles perfectly and can be driven onto a trailer.”

Mark posted this at warjeeps.com.
“For the past 50+ years it has been driven roughly 30-50 miles per year. It was owned by a former board member of the Reno Air Show and was trailered from Reno to the event and only used to drive around the grounds of the show. Still has the original stickers from the air shows on the front wind shield. Recently had service done on the brakes, oil, etc.
Most likely one of the cleanest non-show car 75 year old vehicles you will see. Recently we did $1400.00 worth of maintenance. Runs great. Would like to find it a nice home.”
