“Up for sale is a very nice Veep : A Willys flat fender Jeep body kit on a 1968 VW tub.
There have been many variations of Veep bodies produced over the years, this one is one of the more sought after versions, as it is metal rather than fiberglass. Rebuilt throughout and runs and drives extremely well. Body is straight, paint is not perfect and has it’s share of minor blemishes, but is still a presentable toy.

I spoke with Calvin about this Jeep. It underwent a frame up refurb with lots of new parts from Ron Fitzpatrick. The paint job was custom done by a local artist and is clear-coated. He’s only selling it because some back surgeries have made riding in it uncomfortable. Contact him via email at lorrainelg @ charter.net (remove spaces around @) or via the phone at 541 772 6089.

(10/26/2019) It appears the body has had a great deal of work done to it. Certainly not original, but looks like pretty good work. I imagine there isn’t much demand for a Gator-themed CJ-2A.

“This is a 1956 willys Jeep. Civilian variant of the M38A1 military Jeep. It’s a southern Jeep with a TN title. No mileage on the title because it’s exempt. The cluster has 8k on it. Car starts up runs and drives. Just tuned up with a new carburetor. Tub is steel and is mint with no rust. Frame is also immaculate and had been completely under coated. We have been using it as a beach cruiser. Car has a little Bimini top for the summer. Powered by the original 4cyl. 134cid/70hp 1bbl. Front axle is a Dana 25 and the rear axle is a Dana 44. Don’t miss this opportunity to get this rare classic and make some great memories doing so!! It has a 4 cylinder 4 speed manual and runs strong! Suspension is tight and handles well for what it is.”

“1959 Willys Jeep Truck. Very solid body/frame with newer complete paint. I have many pictures of body as we sandblasted everything to white metal to show how solid the Jeep is/was before painting about 8 years ago.
327 V8 from 1969 Camaro with Edelbrock torquer intake and Edelbrock street carb. T90 3 speed transmission.
Comes with 1976 Scout II Dana 44/3:08 front (disc brakes) axle with all parts to renew from knuckle to wheels. Also Turbo 350 transmission with shift kit completely rebuilt and Chevy gear to gear HI/LO transfer case all these extras to be installed by buyer to handle the horsepower and torque of the 327 engine. Runs 70mph on hot July days and no problem with overheating. There is a lifter noise that you need to consider before buying decision is made. The Ahooga horn you see in pictures does no go with Willys as I have had it for 45 yrs and is a heirloom of sorts. The original Willys horn was working when I put Ahooga horn in truck.
