“Up for sale is a 1948 Jeep Willys. It has work done from the bottom to top. It has a dana 30 and a dana 44 posi with 4.11’s. It has a ford 302 high performance motor attached to a c4 with a stage 2 shift kit and a B&M shifter. Full roll cage with a 42″ LED bar and two racing seats with 4 point harness. It has 33×12.50 mud terrains on some flat black procomp wheels. Everything on the jeep is powder coated and was painted recently.”

It has a new fuel tank, points, condenser, and coil.

Very solid but has some rust under gas tank and storage compartment under passenger seat.

“1949 Willys CJ3A. Restored from the bottom up. Built by a NASA engineer!!!!
Frame off restored in 2011:
-Professionally done paint and body. All steel. Original body sandblasted and repainted. The paint is Dupont and the color is from an early 90’s Chevy truck.
-Rebuilt 1967 Chevy 283 V8 engine bored 30 over. Crane cam, Offenhauser intake, Edelbrock carb and Mallory ignition. Less than 1,400 Miles. Runs smoothly with no issues whatsoever.

“1948 CJ2A. 2 inch lift, with 31″ TSL bias ply Swampers. Front disc brakes, power steering, lockers front and rear. Full roll cage, 4 point seat belts up front. Engine rebuilt 2 years ago. Hardened valve seats added. Also rebuilt the transmission and put in new clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing. Rebuilt front end with new bearings, races, seals, discs, pads, and calipers. Rear end just rebuilt. $7000 or offer.”

(11/08/2014) Looks like a fun rig.
“The previous owner told me this rig was custom built in the late 1960’s as a no-kidding Sand Dune racer.
It’s incredibly fast! It will hold 65 MPH up Vail Pass on I-70 while barely touching the gas. The v8 motor is very strong, but when you combine it with such a small / light vehicle, it’s just crazy. The motor fires right up and is very strong, doesn’t burn any oil.
I believe it is a reproduction CJ3A steel body and not original Willys. I do have a clear Colorado title in my name. The bottom of the “tophat” channels underneath the tub are rusted, but the actual tub pan itself is very clean, and the frame is clean and solid.
The paint job is probably 20 years old, so is faded but still looks okay. I can’t stop for gas or pull up to a stoplight without someone drooling over it or asking questions.

“Overhaul= Red Devil 2.2 engine, trans, clutch, radiator, new shocks, alternator, starter, headlights, belts, new 12V battery, suspension springs, gas tank, seats, canvas top, custom game carrier, pto, 4×4 work and much more. I have all receipts, SERIOUS INQUIRES ONLY. It took 3yrs to rebuild. I’m avid hunter, lost my Lease. Retired military used it daily at the lease, not street worthy. It runs strong powerful 3 speed manual engine and tops out around 60 mph in 3rd gear. My workhorse never let me down. I hate to sell it but, don’t need anymore. Jeep repainted to Lime Green. “1945 FORD GPW WWII JEEP….This jeep is a one of a kind custom biuld , this jeep turns heads as it should it commands atention, as every where it goes it gets lots of compliments and compliments. It is fast and it is a real beauty biult tasefuly to bring together the old with the new. I have completed everything from ground up all that is left to complete is install new glass have the new rubber seals and electic wipper motars to insall . Other than that this jeep has been done from ground up and done right. Here is a discription of what has been done.
