Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. New Overdrive Very Good Tires, New Electric Cooling Fan, Painted 3 Years ago Small Block Chev Engine, Near New Upholstery Dual Exhaust System, New Brake Cylinder and Recent Wheel Pack,Odometer reads 67.000 miles but not sure if that is true reading. “1953 M38A1 Willys military Jeep, runs great. Lots of fun to drive. Four wheel drive works, low range works. Many new parts, many spare parts. Service manual and soft top with doors included. Original data plates, very little rust – passenger side floor board only. Has the flat head Willys go devil engine, T90 transmission, Dana 18 transfer case, Dana 25 front axle and Dana 44 rear axle. Was converted to 12volt system. Clear title in hand. Had tags and registration for awhile and drove it around town, it draws lots of looks. I don’t seem to have the time to take it out much, and hate to let it just sit in the garage. Would love to see someone continue to enjoy and take care of this rare piece of American history.”

“1954 Willy’s Military Jeep M38A1, Clean title, matching numbers.
I have a 54 M38A1 Military Jeep for sale. It has 20,000 original miles on the body and less than 2,000 on original rebuilt motor. I have gone through everything on the Jeep. I have owned it since 1986 but I don’t get to use it much anymore so I decided to sell it instead of letting it sit, when someone else could be driving it and having a good time. Hot August Nights is just around the corner.

Looks nice, though missing a few original details.
“1946 CJ2A Willys complete frame off restoration. Motor,transmission,transfer,axles ,brakes and brake lines completely rebuilt. Upgrades are 12 volt system,electronic ignition,saginaw steering,dual master brake and scout brake drums. All gauges ,upholstery,radiator,electronics and wiring are new. It has overdrive and rear PTO and original heater all newly rebuilt. There is no part of this jeep that has not been restored. The frame and body has 2 coats of epoxy primer has been seam sealed and painted. There is also a new soft top and doors that has been fitted to the Jeep and all holes drilled before painting. The top is new in the box.”

It doesn’t run.
Just 1,519 Jeep FC’s 170’s were built in this configuration in 1958. This is a very original truck down to the Montgomery Ward’s brand tires that have been holding air continuously for the 20 years this truck has been in the family. The only non-original feature is that it has been converted to 12volt, but 6 volt components are included to convert it back. It has been stored in doors since 1994. We have had it running some years ago and the engine is not stuck. But… it is one of those projects that we just haven’t found the time for and it deserves to be passed on to someone that will fix her up and show off this rare, collectible truck. It does have some rust, but it is vey repairable and the windshield IS NOT cracked.”

“1946 cj2a, with Warn overdrive. Winch (needs tlc) and tow hitch In front. Has minor rust and the passenger floor pad has a hole. It runs and drives great. good tires, spare mounted in rear.
