Lacks some original parts, but looks solid.
“Up for sale is my 1943 Ford WWII Military Jeep! Looking to sell it to a good home not a muzeum. Would like it to go to a WWII vet, or a Military vet family just to put a smile on there face and make them happy and proud to one of the very few. If it goes to a good home willing to bring down the price (not free) if they are not picking up to sell and make a buck. This is a original hard to find Ford not a MB or Willys.
I have only had if for a few years myself (picked it up from an old time farmer who has since passed) since that time I ran across couple more (42 and another 43 that needs lots of work) so this one needs to go before I can start on them. The farmer says this 1943 GPW is one of the few original matching numbered jeeps left, and the old timer started rebuilding it and then sold to me with bill of sale just before he passed. I have had the engine professionally rebuilt top to bottom and put back in. Runs and drives great. I had put in a new radiator, gas tank, seat cushions Title can be gotten (guaranteed) just being I am not keepingit and let new owner put in his name”
Is that supposed to be a Netherlands flag on the hood?
“This jeep is in good original condition. Just hit 40,000 miles. Jeep is close to being 100% original. Replaced batteries and motor was rebuilt less than 300 miles ago. Runs and drives great. Would make the perfect candidate if you wanted to do a frame off restoration there is no rust in the vehicle or frame. You could keep the vehicle just like it is and enjoy its originality.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6500.

(12/03/2015) Nice looking Tux.
“If you are looking at this ad you probably know more about this Model CJ5 than I do.
Original body and paint, rust free classic vintage Jeep !
This is a collector quality ride which will appreciate in value !
The Tuxedo Park Mark IV is a rare model with several unique upgrades such as a factory overdrive transmission. Research this model more information.
I put a deposit down on it and only took possession of it recently. During this time I also put an offer in on a house, bought a 1951 GMC, a 1997 GMC and now I have too many vehicles and am passing this unique rare Jeep on.
I have only driven it about a mile total.
It does need some tuning and tinkering like most vehicle of this vintage. The winch is dated 1965 as well but I have not tried it.
It starts right up and goes through all gears. Parking brake cable is stuck.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $11,000.
(08/03/2016) Looks like most of the jeep’s history is documented.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
Looks ready to roll.
“This 1963 Willys Jeep FC-170 is a strong running example of the companys medium wheelbase Forward Control model, This FC-170 is powered by a super reliable and ready for work and fun 226ci Super Hurricane motor.
It is rare to find these trucks in nice condition today as most were worked very hard and then cast aside. This FC-170 was expertly painted in the popular factory offered combination of red and cream. This example retains its proper tailgate markings and factory badging. Glass is in good condition as well, a big plus as good replacements are difficult to find. The side-mounted spare and un-incorporated tail lights complete the look.
Used primarily for fair weather weekend driving this truck looks just as it did when restored. The FC-170 model offered a nice compromise between looks and utility, as shorter 150s have less cargo space and longer 180 and 190s tend to look a bit stretched and ungainly.
Inside the cab things are nicely kept and almost entirely OEM. All gauges, lights and switches work as designed, including the interesting single digit scaled speedometer.
Power comes from a Continental Super Hurricane L-head straight six. Displacing 226 cubic inches and rated for about 110 HP and 190 lb. ft. at very low revs, this one starts easily, runs smoothly and offer excellent reliability. Power is distributed through a floor-shift 4-speed manual and hi/lo range transfer case, and all four tires are new.
This Unique Willys FC-170 amazingly comes with its original New Jersey Title. This is an outstanding opportunity to own a unique and highly sought after chapter in Jeep History.”
UPDATE: Sold out of NJ for $9500.
It doesn’t run.
“In very good restorable condition Willy’s Jeep Forward Control 170. Original paint and unique rare Jeep belonged to the Washington State Park Service. Factory winch and diamond plate steel front and rear bumpers, vacummed boosted brakes. Designed for work. Stored most of its life in a shed hence the little surface rust. An opportunity to acquire and restore a unique and rare jeep. Comes with antenna, spare tire, Snorkel and Jeep manual. Missing driver window. Not running. I acquired Truck to restore but plans have changed. Please check out pictures and ask questions. Serious inquiries please. Have reserve but open to reasonable offers.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $13,500.
Looks nice.
“This 1949 Willis Overland Jeepster is the perfect driver with just enough work needed to make it your own. It has: professionally rebuilt original 4 cyl. flathead, rebuilt original 6 volt generator and starter, all new brake drums, wheels, cylinders and master cylinder. Original style wiring harness, runs great and looks good. Newer paint has some chips Top and top frame are installed but needs to be stapled to the oak base member. I just leave it down, fair weather car with no side curtains. The car has only about 150 miles since body on restoration and engine build.”
