Started out as civil defense jeep for Clinton, IA. ended up being stored for years in basement of Savanna Army Hospital. It is street legal with new front leaf springs, brakes, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, and new tires. It also has a 6′ western plow with it. The mounting hardware for the plow is made so that it bolts to the jeep using existing threaded holes in the frame, as not to alter the frame in any way.”

“Here is what i know about the digger i believe it 1968 model year. the dozer blade works up and down down pressure will lift front end off ground..all the pto hook ups appear intact and everything looks original. we picked up the jeep a few years ago, the front drive shaft broke loading on trailer and will need to be repaired or replaced..will still drive and ran and drove fine when parked. it was stored indoors when we bought it and has been stored inside building since we got it. hopefully the pictures will answer most question as i am not familiar with these old jeeps”

Fully rebuilt engine by Ball Engines – less than 500 miles on the jeep since rebuilt as a whole unit.
5 almost brand new GOODYEAR MT/R Kevlar tires. Might not be era correct but these babies are sweet.
Almost all new canvas with its padding for all the seats – YES it has the passenger and rear seats.
Converted was the unhooking of the voltage regulator which is still mounted but a CAT 24 volt alternator installed – system is still 24 volt. 24 volt battery has a disconnect switch.

(03/28/2015) “This is a restored M170 Willys Ambulance as a troop transport. Comes with an M101 3/4 ton dump trailer as well – been using it in military parades Bandera/Utopia area. Time to move on to something else. Powerful – engine rebuilt, along with tranny, transfer case, wheel seals, etc. New exhaust, everything works except emergency brake. All there just not hooked up. Good canvas, have the doors, new seat pads in the back, no rust to speak of. Very rare, extended wheel base and not the “tip over” typical M38A1. Would make an excellent vehicle to transport hunters to blinds.”
