(03/22/2015) Runs and drives.

“I have a 1951 Willys CJ-3A Jeep for sale. It has the flathead 4cyl in it. This Jeep runs and drives good….The brakes will pump up and work, but go down when it sits ….I drive it around the neighborhood on occasion…. Look the pics over good, this Jeep does have rust, but is all repairable…. The tires are dry rotted but they have tubes so they hold air fine…. It has a new exhaust manifold… what you see is what I have..I don’t have a Title, but it shouldn’t be a problem to get one…the Boat Battery in pictures does not go with the Jeep.”

I love it when people says it’s not a problem to get a title. No title= parts jeep. I think they could have put the taillights up higher. Looks very rusty

Why are you commenting. Where is Ava and why aren’t you holding her? Are you starting her on jeeps already? I’m so proud! I think this old girl has some transport yellow showing through. Look at that patina. Kind of mangy. Cool. Tail lights need to be that high, to rusty down low. Pretty original though…

  3. Minnesota Chris

I was commenting while I was holding her. Had to let the mommy sleep. Plus, she was practically begging to see jeeps

  4. Idaho Todd

Begging? She’s like 17 hours old. The force is strong with this one! The pictures are great. I can’t believe how big the other kids are getting. We need to find you a nice cj6 with the “third row”. I think that would be cool. A cj6a! I’m so excited.

Where’s the cane handle? I see a Harrison and a hand wiper. New seat cover on driver’s seat? Air horn is loose. Needs horn button and 4 wheeldrive shift knob. 12 volt conversion and where is the oil bath air filter. I like the idea of a cj6a with double rear benches

  6. Idaho Todd

Yup. His windshield frame should be black, not body colored. Drawbar is gone. I think he painted the rear view mirror. Missing side mirror. No cover plate for master cylinder. I like the bigger tires. 7.00’s maybe. A dauntless cj6 would be awesome!

  7. Minnesota Chris

Oh the dauntless. What a great motor. I think Roy want to visit, he could bring one to us. Another big push bar. Maybe because of armadillos. You know they get spooked and jump while curling up. They go through windshields of small cars.

  8. Idaho Todd

Yup, I checked it that way too. I’m with Joe, where did armadillo’s come into play?

  9. Minnesota Chris

He they can travel. I’m trying to justify these huge push bars and bumpers people install on these jeeps

Most comments ever made on three jeeps? And where the heck is the artsy fartsy diamond plate jeep or the excessive chrome truck?

  11. Idaho Todd

Fellas! Fellas! This is a site about jeeps, for jeeps, for the love of jeeps. All clean, positive comments are welcome as long as you comment constructively or positive at the end of your comments. I felt the need to step in and police ourselves. Thanks Roy for the gift and…although not a factory “rain fly” on the driver seat, I have several like it.
