“This is a complete frame of rebuild. Front and rear diffs new motor tranny clutch and transfer case. New brakes break lines etc. Has a 4″ suspension lift and a 2″ body lift to clear the newer F head motor. 5 brand new wheels and tires. Raptor lined complete bottom side of body and complete inside of tub. This was a rust free unit to start with. New paint wire harness and gauges. Super fun to drive but with 588 gears doesn’t go real fast. Only 60 miles since resto-mod. With over 20k spent! Asking$9750. Would consider trades. Hot rods classic cars. Can ad money for the rite trade..”
Has updated brakes and a Ford 2.0L.

“1953 Jeep Willys CJ3A. Title has body type as farm Jeep and model as FJ (farm Jeep ?). Still has 6 volt electrical system and pretty much original other than the aluminum radiator. Brakes and emergency brake works but it has never been down the road since I’ve owned it for 11 years. Always starts on the coldest day of the year to plow driveway maybe twice a year. Was last ran in October of last year and never had snow to use it last winter but it just started right up without charging the battery just pulled the choke and it fired. Very dependable and hydraulic plow works fine up and down, angling the blade side to side is done manually though. I would recommend towing it even though it has brakes I don’t know how well it will stop on the road it has never left my driveway in 11 years after brake system was replaced, engine rebuilt and clutch replaced.”
This looks promising. Thanks to Tom for sharing it.

“Complete 1951 Willy’s Jeep minus the motor. Tranny and Transfer case still in it. Selling for a friend so I don’t know much about it. $ 1,900 OBO.”
This looks in good shape. This may have a Buick V6.

“I’m selling my all original 1950 Willys CJ3A Universal Jeep with Power Take Off. Runs and drives great, clean title and registered in my name. The PTO works well, and it’s still running the original 6 volts. The frame is good and solid but some of the body pieces are rusted along with the under-seat tool box and muffler”

“Project ”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $10,000. The seller no longer indicates the miles on the speedometer as “original miles”.
(08/01/2022) This looks like a good build, but the reason I am posting it is that, for some reason, it has a serial number tag that places it as a CJ-5 with a V-6 with emissions from around mid-1969 (8305017 360695). So, maybe this is a CJ-3A body on a newer chassis.
“1949 jeep cj-3a runs and rides great absolutely no rust it’s got brand new tires, soft top and is very clean for how old it is has Buick v6 with a manual 3 speed the title says 1970 to make road worthy but you can tell it is way older than that ….This jeep gets all the looks and is a great cruiser!!! Come check it out !!! ”
Listed as a 1950 CJ-3B, I’m guessing the chassis may have been a 3A.

“1951 Willys CJ3A Jeep. Runs great.
Comes with older black soft top (I never bothered to install it).
Also comes with new canvas soft top and new seat covers (never got around to installing).
I’ve had this Jeep for about 2 years.
It appears to be in very original condition. Has functioning PTO on the back.
Everything you see is how I bought it.
I’m selling just to free up some space.”

“I have a 1949 CJ3A Jeep for sale. It runs and drives, has a blue bonded title. I got the parts to start the brakes, but haven’t installed them yet. It’s not a rust bucket and would be fine on a ranch as-is, but it needs work. It would be a fun project for someone who has the room and the mechanical ability for a do it yourself project. I am firm on the price.”
If this were near me, I’d pick it up in a second.
