“Here is a 1954 CJ3B in running condition . All original with 134 F-Head. Full aluminum cab and doors, complete snow plow assembly included. Jeep starts and drives,and has good oil pressure but will need brake work to make it road worthy. Frame is very solid with very minor surface rust, even the rear crossmember is solid. Grill, hood, windshield frame, fenders, and tailgate are all solid and in good shape. Body tub has been patched with metal and some bondo, here and there. Clear title and current registration. A 1940s DJ?
“One 1946 Willys CJ2A runs and drives great ready to go with an 8,000 lb. Ramsey winch and new tires. This is a rare Jeep with column shift and all numbers matching, all tags in place. Four wheel drive, low and high range all work. Everything on the Jeep works but the speedometer.
One 1948 CJ2A tub, chassis, motor and all drive train except axles which I have and go with jeep so this is a complete Jeep.

One 1940’s DJ2A tub in great shape, this is a rare tub for a DJ because its left hand steer. Several extra frames, grills, fenders, tires and wheels, engine parts, manuals, etc. more parts than the pictures show. Everything goes as a package deal, I will not sell separate.
If you are a Jeep person or want a great project vehicle this is a great deal. All could be sold separate or parted out for more money on ebay or something but I don’t want the hassle. It has sat for a couple years. Unclear why.
“I have a 1953 Willys Jeep for sale. This is a CJ-3B, all original motor and transmission. The jeep was used for years as a US Army jeep for re enacting. it has a military paint job and also has a gun mount attached to the bed of the jeep. The jeep has been sitting for about 1-1/2 years and is in need of restoration. All body parts are present and there is some rust that would have to be dealt with. The jeep has very low original miles on it and also has new tires all the way around. The Jeep has new brakes and the brake system on the jeep was rebuilt before the jeep was parked 1-1/2 years ago. I have about $500.00 in the new tires and $200 into the rebuild of the brake system. I am wanting $2000.00 or best offer for the jeep. This would be a great restoration project for someone who has the ttime, if you are looking for a original Willys CJ3B with all of the original parts here is one that can be restored. (05/18/2011) This has a solid looking roll cage. It also has a CJ-2A windshield, which means that cage is unusually tall, so the average top probably won’t work on it.
“I’m not sure where to start. I have owned this Jeep since 1998 and I have rebuilt or replaced just about every part on it over the years. THIS IS NOT A PROJECT Jeep, it is turn key and ready to go wheeling. Here are the main points:
-Rebuilt stock F-head engine, head rebuilt and decked, replaced rings but they didn’t seat well so it smokes. Currently running a progressive 2BBL Weber carb with cable throttle. Has manual hand throttle for crawling.
-Stock axles front and rear, 5.38 gears, front has been completely rebuilt with new R&P, axles, bearings, 2.5″x11″ brakes from 1976 Wagoneer, rear has Lock-Right Locker, new 10-spline axles & seals and 2″x9″ brakes from the front.
-Stock rebuilt transmission, transfer case and drive shafts, rebuilt clutch; shifts smooth, no grinding, no noise but drips a little.
-Upgraded master cylinder to a dual reservoir unit from a ’63 Caddy, all new brake hoses, stock parking brake was gone so I installed a Micro-lock to pass Tech inspection.
-I added a late model GM power steering box and pump with a cooler. Frame was completely boxed in front and new crossmember fabricated. All new tie rod ends, HD drag link, u-joint steering shaft, steers with one finger!
-Six point roll cage, rock sliders, reclining seats from an ’03 Jeep, dual spare Jerry cans, replacement plastic gas tank in stock location, swing away spare tire mount, stock wheels with reinforced centers. Tires are 32×11.50R15LT and are almost new.
-All wiring was replaced with a complete fuse box and harness from a mid ’70s GM sedan so all lights work, 12V alternator, has emergency flashers, electric fan, mechanical SW gauges and even a working horn.
-Front leaf springs are longer for more droop, all four spring mounting plates are reinforced and have slider plates to protect the oversized U-bolts.
-The windshield is from an earlier Willys but I have a cut-down 2A windshield frame I will throw in that I bought on E-Bay a few years back.
This Jeep has done most of the trails in Big Bear, CA, including The John Bull both directions, Odessa and Doran Canyons in Calico, Cleghorn (before it was closed), Truckhaven, the Panamints, Death Valley and more. I have had minor issues but it has never left me stranded on the trail. It currently has one locking hub in front and one stock drive flange because I broke a hub last time out. Either replace the hub or I have the other stock drive flange.
It comes with spare front axle shafts, the stock carb and linkage, spare u-joints, tierod ends and whatever I have stashed in the garage that came on it. I have clear California title in hand. Take a close look at the photos and if I have missed something please ask. The Jeep is located about 20min east of Pasadena, CA. Delivery is possible but we will need to work that out in advance.”

This is not one of those old jeeps that has been ruined by installing a v-8. these were not made to go fast, they were made to go anywhere! Original F-134 4 cyl. engine with oil bath air cleaner. Rebuilt running gear inc. complete engine/transfer case rebuild, new clutch & brakes, upgraded to 12 v alternator. New fuel pump, regulator, solenoid and re-built original starter. Extras include Warn PTO winch, roll bar, soft top & rear bench seat. Clean in and out, no rust, never wrecked. Must see to appreciate. I’ve owned it for over 30 years and got it from my Grandfather so I can tell you it’s entire history.”

“1954 Willy,s CJ3B. Original, complete, does not run. No top. Spun a rod bearing about 10 years ago and has set since. Head is pulled, but all parts there for the original 4 cylinder engine. Brakes shot, needs brake and wheel cylinders. Transmission worked when it was running, but will not shift now as there was no trans boot. No PTO or winch. Now the good. The body is in decent shape for the age has some typical rust and older repairs It has 5:38 gears from the factory. Comes with a front tow bar, but probably should be trailed home. 3 tires hold air, the 4th will long enough to get it loaded. I will provide a bill of sale and the original title that I never submitted to the state to get transferred. I will include a original repair manual. “I dont know much about willys jeeps , the man I got it from said everything works like it should . It started smoking and he took the head off the engine and lost interest in fixing it . It has been about 2 months since it has been cranked and when he tore the engine down . The jeep is very clean for its age and has a hard top with doors . All the glass is good and unbroken except for the windshield , which has a large crack down the center of it. The tires look to be very new and excellent shape with very deep lugs on the thread. It has a tow bar on the front end and a bumper with place to put a trailer ball on the rear . Would make a excellent hunting jeep or a great restoration peice . I am unsure of the exact year model , I was told it is a cilivian jeep not a military jeep. Has high and low range transfer-case and four wheel drive . Does have some rust , mainly the drivers floor board next to the door . It is painted camo all over with leave print on it . Jeep is for sale as-is , where-is , and I am not promising anything . I have described it to the best of my knowledge . It has warn lock-in lock-out hubs . The exhaust system looks to be recently replaced . The doors , back hatch and tail-gate open and shut as they should . Has seats that flip up in the middle to access the back . No rear seat . All parts to the engine are inside the Jeep , including the carburator .”
