About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“I am selling this Jeep for my father who is 89. He has had this Jeep for many decades, but never got around to doing anything with it. It is all original from what I can tell and untouched except the head from the motor was stolen many years ago.
Matching Numbers: The Vin behind the passenger seat , the vin on the dash plate, and the vin on the title all match. The engine block vin locations show no indication of having ever been stamped or the vin has completely rusted away.
Sold As Is.”
“Fully restored MC M38 Korean War era military Jeep and 1952 D-K M100 US Army trailer. 12 volt 4 wd. Has been garaged and not been started or driven since my late husband passed. Serious buyers only, not desperate to sell. Looking for someone who loves and appreciates these older treasures as much as we do and can provide the care needed to own this type of vehicle. Two tops included along with side curtains not shown, and extras.”

It is pretty much original except it has a F134 motor, which is a little better motor, and lockout hubs
The 4 wheel drive and high/low range work great
12 volts system
A homemade metal top
Runs pretty good
Has some rust
It sure gets a lot of attention when your out driving, it’s also fun to drive”
“4 cylinder flat head. Body’s in great shape. Just dropped the engine back in after putting a new fly wheel on it. Not completely back together but have all the parts. Was running before I took it apart. Elderly so it’s hard for me to work on.”
A variety of extras are included on this M-38. The windshield seems like it leans back a little farther than it should. I’ve never heard the term “Restored to Combat Class”.
“Has original parts, 24 volt system. Many original add-on’s that make this a unique find. Please see photos and review the video for running Jeep featuring a narrative from the owner and a full scope of all that is included with this sale.
Several of your inquiries have been to include further photos of what items are extra in my Dads large bin that comes with the Jeep. I’ve put many more photos in the ad now, several items most likely will have no interest to you, nevertheless they come with the Jeep.
I’ve personally never looked at the underside of the Jeep until I took these photos, it is not that easy to snap these upside down, but I did my best. I should tell you that it will have a few areas I know that need to be sanded, I believe on the right front passenger side on the undercarriage. The Jeep has been sitting several years without care, covered, but still without my dads care due to his illnesses, and I know he has not been able to maintain or do further work that he had planned on completing with the Jeep. But, all things considered, it’s not a shiny showpiece, however, it is one heck of a Jeep!
We’d Love to hear from you, make your best offer!”
“In working order with original motor and transmission. Body is in good condition. New brake parts and a new electronic ignition module has been purchased and will be provided but needs to be installed. Original seat frames, windshield and tail gate have been removed but are still in tact and will also be provided. This jeep is ideal for restoration enthusiasts. It has been used as a utility vehicle on a hill country ranch for last thirty years. Originally purchased from a retired military officer who bought it from the Army when he retired as it had been his vehicle while in the service.
Pickup from seller will require own trailer transportation.”

“951 M38 Willy’s Military Jeep. It has been converted to 12 volt. I have taken this down to the frame and started to put it back together. It ran and drove before my restoration began. I have lost interest in the project. It has a: Buick V6 even fire out of an early Grand National (better than the odd fires) Dana 27 front axle Dana 44 Rear axle Brand new Rancho 2.5 inch lift kit with new leafs and shocks Muncie SM420 4-speed T-18 Transfer case (brand new adapter from Novak) Super Swamper 32.5 inch tires (5 of them) Front Disc Brakes Power Steering
Parts that come with it: New wiring harness New gauges 4 New Hummer seats, cushions and seat belts Soft top with doors (old has some holes) Aluminum radiator and electric fan Brand new heater All the brass placards for the dash Roll bar New brake lines Many many more parts. All the parts are there to get it back on the road. It is currently on a DJ-5 frame which is 3/4 of the way boxed in, the original frame will come with it also if looking to restore back to original. You will need a trailer to pick this up and a way to haul all the parts. It’s registered non-op and has original CA black lic plate.”
This appears to have an overdrive, along with some worn Desert Dogs.
