Here’s a Happy New Year from Roberto!
Here’s an illustrated treat from Roberto Flores.
UPDATE: Back on eBay.
This 1945 Ad appears to show Santa driving a Ford GP.
Roberto Flores forwarded this illustration yesterday. Some of those lifted jeeps are REALLY tall!
I tried to learn more about CBI Theatre Cartoonist Ehret (maybe Wendell Ehret?), but didn’t couldn’t find anything.

UPDATE: Roberto notes that this painting is for sale: 220 Euros. Email him
at robflores@robertoflores.com for more info.
Roberto Flores posted his lasted MB illustration to Facebook. Kids and jeep seem a natural combination.

Roberto had some fun drawing up this fanciful jeep rod. You can see more of his illustrations on Facebook or at his website: http://www.robertoflores.com.
In Long Island City there’s a warehouse that’s become a canvas for graffiti artists (by permit only). Apparently, the warehouse is going to be taken down, so Yahoo featured some of its art. One of the scenes depicts what appears to be a FJ-6 Ice Cream jeep.
You can see the yahoo article here: http://news.yahoo.com/photos/graffiti-mecca-in-long-island-city-queens-ny-is-threatened-1381434599-slideshow/

Marc spotted this cool V-Mail Christmas holiday letter with the USMC playing Santa Claus.
Here’s an unusual piece of jewelry.
“RARE 50’s 60s VINTAGE 925 STERLING SILVER CHARM MOVABLE WILLYS JEEP CAR”
I’ve never seen one of these, but I can’t say if this is rare or not.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2400.
This runs and drivers, but needs work of some kind.
“Looking to sell my Willy jeep.. Bought to be a project and have just not had the time or money to work on… Kinda a miss match of stuff.. Has Buick v6 engine with stock drive train… Has 33 12.5 15 wildcat tires with crager style wheels… Runs and drives although dont recommend driving much on the street.. Has roll cage and has been set up as an off roader. Has been set up to register and doesn’t have to pass smog sense it a 51… Would be a fun off road project truck or whatever you wanna make it.. 2400.00 no trades”
Marc forwarded this clock on eBay.
“This 1:32 scale model of the classic Willys Jeep was issued by Daimler Chrysler in 2005. It was a limited edition and the only model of the Jeep that featured a fully-functional alarm clock.”
Marc spotted this Papercruiser model.
“My Willy’s Jeep FC-150 paper model now for sale! You can grab it here for $7 – or check out thephoto gallery here. It’s available in 8 colors, shown below.”
This is rare enough that I haven’t seen one for sale before.

A license to surf fish in Delaware. I think the pole should have been hooked to the jeep, just in case a big fish came along.
“DELAWARE SURF PLATE WILLYS JEEP FROM EARLY 90’S

You don’t see many follow-me jeeps illustrated.

Posed with the Follow Me jeep.
(Follow Me jeeps were used at airfields helping to control airplane ground traffic. Those jeeps used close to the front remained the OD (olive drab) color, but at bases to the rear, the jeeps were painted bright yellow.)
Art by Michael Malak of MALAK Photography.
Photo sessions were located at the Yanks Aircraft Museum in Chino CA. (Video Below)

Well, maybe it’s more bait shop than jeep puzzle, but it’s a home run if you like fishing and jeeps!
