“1950 willys cj3a
$5,500 title in hand.
registered, and inspected at the time of writing this add. I may consider trade for a Tj wrangler unlimited or cj8 scrambler
This has the factory Dana 44 rear axle, front has been upgraded to discs and has a locker installed. I do not know the brand of the locker. At the moment this is a groceries getter for me and nothing else. Tires still have the nubs on the edges.
They are bfg mud terrains with pro comp simulated bead locks. Body work is not awesome, has the storage box under passenger seat, new fuel tank.
There is also a 4.3 vortec fuel injected v6 under the hood. Lots of power for this little truck. Alum radiator, elec fan, power steering, and the ac compressor is setup to be oba “on board air”.”
UPDATE: Still Available.
(08/07/2018) Bill spotted this one. Based on the lack of gussets on the bumper, I’d say this is some kind of modified 3A.

“Really cool 1951 Jeep “Willys”
4×4 3 speed 4 cylinder
In nice shape, paint is pretty good, tires have miles to go and seats are decent.
Also included is a custom made trailer.
Hasn’t ran for a while and needs new points. Always used as a hunting vehicle not actually on the road.

“What you are looking at is an original CJ3A 1950 Willys Jeep. The Jeep is very complete and the engine is not stuck. I removed the head and inspected the cylinders and valves and they looked great. Then i installed a new head gasket properly sequenced and torqued. I don’t think it would take much to get this Jeep back going. I’m selling this Jeep for someone that has a new house and decided he doesn’t have the time for it. ”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $900.
Lacks floors. No engine.
“1950 CJ3A Willys Flatfender Jeep. Clear TN title in my name. Frame seems solid. Transmission and transfer case included and still installed. Engine not included. $900 obo”

“Selling For my father in-law, He has owned it since the late 70’s. Still has the old flathead 4 in it that runs as you can see by the fan in the motor pic. All factory except for the turn signals. Those were added by previous owner. It comes with a Warren over drive, factory installed. New Tires, brakes all the way around a few years ago, along new front knuckles as well. Fuel pump and water pump replaced to get it running again. Does need restoration, but is solid. Comes with new set of plug and wires. (08/02/2018) Seller lists this as a 1947 CJ-2A, but it looks more like a CJ-3A with its lack of bumper gussets and the drip tray under the hood.

Looks like a good restoration project.
https://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/cto/d/1951-cj3a-all-original-and/6666685572.html
“I have an all original Willys CJ3A, even the original factory wheels.
I got it from the original owner and it’s been in dry storage ever since.
The engine runs really well, but needs a new water pump, battery, etc.
I have a video of it running.
The transfer case shifts fine but the trans won’t shift and I have never had it apart to check on it.
It has all of the normal, common issues the old Willys jeeps usually have.
It needs a full restoration.
It has a better windshield and hood now, different from what the photos show.
I can throw in a better tub for a full price offer.
I am not in a hurry to sell, I really don’t need to sell it other than for space.
I don’t need any help selling it and low ball offers will simply be ignored.”
Seems like a good price considering the rims and other parts. Looks to be a glass body on a CJ-5 chassis. The cutlas hubs appear in great shape.
https://salem.craigslist.org/pts/d/willys-jeep-cj5-cj-willys/6666649674.html
“Willys Jeep, Rolling chassis (less motor and transmission), set up for SBC, includes headers, Swinging pedals, Power steering, Has Title, Far from perfect, needs TLC, was drivable before pulling the motor. Tires are shot.”
Even the seller isn’t sure all what’s hear.

“I have two Jeep Willy’s that are torn apart. Comes with 2 frames
4 axels
2 flathead 4 motors
2 manual transmissions
2 PTO winches
1 complete body
2 seats
And I think 1 soft top
These are located in Ontario Oregon and will need to be picked up there. Unfortunately they are in two different locations. There is probably more than what is listed but I am not sure exactly what all is there.”
UPDATE: Still Available.

(07/09/2018) It might be an M-38. The body is fiberglass.
https://phoenix.craigslist.org/nph/cto/d/1951-willys-flat-fender-jeep/6664169295.html
“I just picked up this Willys with some other cars in a package deal. I know very little about this but I’ll tell you what I know.
I was told it ran a few months back. All the other vehicle run and were stored with stabil. I haven’t hooked it up to a battery to check anything.
It is a fiberglass body which I have been told are very desirable. It sets on a nice clean no rust frame. Engine is a GM 6 cylinder.
Like I said, I know very little about these kinds of vehicles so come take a look. If you have specific questions, text me and I will get answers.
May trade up or down for classic cars.
It has a clean arizona title that is signed and notarized.
I’m pricing it cheap because I haven’t messed with it yet. It it doesn’t go I’ll get it on the road and then sell it.”
I believe this is a GPW with a CJ-3A body on it.
https://chico.craigslist.org/cto/d/willys-jeep/6663069248.html

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $7000.
(06/21/2018) This has some Free-Lock hubs.
“1952 Willys CJ3A Jeep, runs and drives and is a blast! It is all original plus a few upgrades. It has had a complete tuneup and runs awesome. It has had all of the fluids changed, has 5 new old-school mud tires, new best top, new seat covers and seat belts, cb radio, warn 8274 winch, and LED offroad lights and upgraded Saginaw steering with new tie rods. It also has a vintage warn overdrive unit. The body is completely rust free and in great shape. It a a couple of dents and dings but is in amazing shape for being 60 years old. It’s slow but will take you anywhere you want to go. Selling due to needing something more family friendly. Clean and clear Idaho title in my name.”

2nd Jeep is a basket case CJ-5 with factory axles, no engine, old T-90, old axles, rough body but includes title. Get both for the price of 1. Not looking for any trades, looking for money towards other hobbies.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $850.
This has a later model DJ-3A body and hardtop on a 4WD chassis (2A?).
