Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1954? Willys CJ3B mostly complete except for engine head and correlated components above the bad engine block. All running gear is in tact, just needs motor and complete restoration. Don’t ask me if it is rusty, YES it is sixty six years old for crying out loud! And no i will not deliver and i am not parting it out, period! Price is $800 and those who know it is well worth this in parts alone so don’t bother wasting your (i said your) time lowballing me because I won’t answer you if you do, if you show up and low ball me you’ll go home without the jeep.
I also have a bunch of misc. random Willys Jeep parts i have collected over the years, if you’re needing something particular email me your needs and i will look to see if i have it. Parts for old Willys flatfenders pre Kaiser. 1941 through 1951 era. Most of what i have will need attention or some sort of repair before use.”

Less then 600 miles on restoration. 350 Chevy 3 speed trans. Warn overdrive. Over all great condition! new clutch throw out bearing and carburetor recently. Please message with any questions prior to bidding.”

(03/25/2020) Has a solid looking Kelly hardtop and a Monroe Lift.
“Selling for a friend: 62 or 63(old title its a bit confusing) Tallhood Willys, with a 283 Chevrolet V8, JC Whitney bell housing adapter, half cab and three point hitch system. Comes with a snowblade. It does have rust, but it’s not a basket case. Hasn’t run in years, but it turned over briefly before the starter shat its pants. I might look about getting it running this weekend. Clean title. Lowballers need not apply, the lift system alone is worth at least grand by itself, and it ain’t eating nothing just sitting there. I ain’t looking to play twenty questions with this thing via messenger, if you’re interested, hit me up, and come look at it, maybe we can work out a deal.”
UPDATE: This was listed as a 1957 in 2018, but is now listed as a 1955 model. Price bumped to $18,500.

Ranger Bob suggests this could have been a 1963 that could have been on the production line when things switched the 1964 model (see comments).
Though listed as a 1964, I imagine it is earlier (maybe 1963) given the Willys stampings. It could use some body work and paint. Still, it’s hard to find a 1960’s 3B for sale.
