UPDATE: **SOLD** Was Make Offer.
Mike spotted this project. There seems to be value here. As of Monday night the ad was pending, but I haven’t seen any update on it this morning.
“Selling parts or whole. I 1968 cj no title. Was started in 2012 as a frame off restoration. Frame was redone and the tub. Was parked in 2013 outside. Ran and moved on its own power than. Name what parts you want or offer a price for the whole thing. End of the week goes to the scrap yard. Mileage on the motor unknown”
It’s not currently road worthy, but it does have some interesting mods. The mod at the very rear appears to be a gas tank. I suspect the cargo area may be an animal cage of some type.

“Early model half cab Jeep (milage & yr unknown) 4×4 lock in/ lock out hubs, 4 cyl engine, runs good, new fuse box, fuses. Ignition switch. Horn, lights and windshield wipers work. 3 speed manual transmission, pto winch, a frame tow bar, nice fuel tank on rear, covered bed, metal doors, some repairable rust spots, tires are showing dry rot. Nice deer camp or farm Jeep. Wouldn’t take much to make it road ready. Bill of Sale. $4650.00”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $5000.
I post this because it wins the award for the most creative use of a Uhaul item (as a seat cover), along with the unusual rear cargo mod.

“Everything is factory on this runs and drives factory PTO with blade .needs new leaf springs in the front, shocks have all been replaced. Price is firm please no messages after 10 pm won’t answer until morning thank you. Oh it is not mine I’m helping a neighbor.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $1500.
This modified CJ-5 has an extended rear. The seller is unsure of the year, but it seems most likely a mid 1960s CJ-5 given the lack of a tailgate stamp and no faux battery box lid.

“According to the previous owners this Willy jeep is a 1954 or 1945 but I’m not sure I but this jeep to restore but I never have the time to do it iff you looking for one off this this is your opportunity is hart to find one off this I don’t have the title transmission and motor was working”
UPDATE: Still Available.

This may have a set of Kelly hubs. It’s got a winch. The body doesn’t look too bad. There may be parts value here at the very least.

“Clean title Doesnt run Been sitting for 25 years Ran before ”
This CJ-5 is worth a look. The tail gate has rust. I can’t tell if the floors do.

“67 Jeep CJ5 Runs and drives well. Has low and high range 4 wheel drive. Frame is solid and straight. Needs body work or a new tub. Comes with a tow bar”
Blaine shared this one, too. It has a PTO winch and warn hubs, so there’s a little bit of parts value here.
“Parts Jeep, 4 cyl gas engine, front PTO winch, soft top, 4 x4. manual transmission, 235/75R15 tires”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500.
This could be a good parts jeep. Thanks to Tom for sharing it.

“This is Betsy. Betsy is loved by our family very much. She runs great and is an absolute joy to drive. By no means is she perfect. We do not want to see her go but with a growing family she doesn’t get the attention she deserves”
Blaine spotted this Tux Park for sale. Note it still has matching seats. No description provided. p# 408 668 5536

“I bought this jeep it came with this hardtop. Fiberglass top with steel sides and doors.
A few dents and little rust cracked glass but looks to be serviceable
Stored near Olympia WA.”
Bill shared this nice looking CJ-5 with some updates. The current price is $5967.

“This 1967 Jeep CJ-5 is finished in metallic blue over gray upholstery and powered by a 225ci Dauntless V6 paired with a three-speed manual transmission and two-speed transfer case. Equipment includes a black bikini top and soft doors as well as a roll bar, a tow ball, a fold-down windshield, an aftermarket stereo, custom bumpers, manually locking front hubs, and 15″ alloy wheels. The selling dealer states the truck was repainted and the interior was refreshed before it was acquired by them in 2021, and subsequent work included replacing a radiator hose and adjustment of the brakes. This CJ-5 is now offered at no reserve with a clean Ohio title…”
UPDATE: **Status Unknown**
My friend Joe in Pennsylvania is looking to sell his jeeps. He’s got a variety of flat fenders, including “Rusty“, a 1956 DJ-3A I sold him back in 2019. All four of these have good PA titles. Here are some older pics of each jeep (Joe is working getting up-to-date pics. If you have interest, email Joe at abguy @ enter.net (remove spaces around the @)
“Also, I have a 62 hardtop (no title) that has had the body scrapped but all else is intact as a rolling parts source. There are a lot of accumulated parts, many upgrades, a new ½ oft top for the ME unit, 2 new tanks, etc.”
Listed as a CJ-5, it seems more like an M-38A1.

“1959 Willys CJ5. 4×4 350 Chevrolet small block. Automatic. Runs, drives, tagged. Has some extras. Actual mileage unknown. Trade for a sport side by side. Must have title. $5000 obo. Low ballers get blocked. If it’s still listed I still have it. I do not reply to auto messages. ”
This jeep has an unusual paint job. The body appears pretty solid.

“Complete barn find cj hard to find complete pto motor tranny front and rear end all original doesn’t run but motor starts is a project but one thats hard to find….. best offer gets will do drop price if it’s today found something”
Not sure about the price given it needs a tank installed, but there’s a lot of stock CJ-5 here for early CJ-5 lovers.

“1961 Willys jeep, 4 cylinder,3 speed. Fuel tank cleaned and lined, needs installed, big winch. Been sitting for a while but will start and run. Posting for my father-in-law. He ca answer any questions.”
Tom shared this one. It’s got some carpet on the floor, so unclear what condition the floor is in.

“64’ keep Willy, $6400 new gas tank runs and drives, don’t actually know the mileage”
There’s a lot of early jeep here. The 0-8 KS speedo has the orange needle; I’m not sure why some are white and some are orange. This also has an early top that looks in good shape and a set of early, period correct even, Free-Lock hubs. It still has the reversed front shackles, too.
https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/271183628411177
“Running, in need of minor TLC.. carburetor & tires. Truly all original just in need of a tune up. Serious inquiries only!”
I don’t see enough info in the pic to verify the “462” claim, but I see no reason to doubt it either. It looks like the V6 emblem was painted over when this was repainted.

“Price change: 1957 Willys CJ5 Brush Fire Jeep. In service around the Akron, Ohio area most of its life. 11,000 original miles, runs perfect. Gets a-lot of interest at shows and turns heads everywhere. Great vehicle to educate the public on how important Willys/Jeeps were in American history.”
Mike spotted this former trencher with a Meyer half cab for sale.

“1969 Cj5 “Go-For-Digger” Dually. Came factory with a plow and a back hoe that i don’t have. The Jeep is now mostly disassembled and will need restored. Ran when took apart, I’m sure it can still run. Has rust in the tub but frame is good. I can send current pictures. Have PTO front and rear. F134ci 4 cylinder and 3 speed.”
There might be some value here. With a September 1962 build date, t’s likely among the last CJ-5s with the faux battery box lid. No useful description provided. A rear tank appears added to this jeep.
