UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1250.
This runs, has a hardtop.
“This is a 1969 Jeep CJ5. It was used as a snow plow and comes with all the hydraulics and parts except for the plow it self, also comes with an extra set of 5 original tires and rims. It has a new windshield frame, no windshield and THE original steel hard top AND matching doors. The motor runs and the transmission shifts very well. The rear breaks are out but the fronts are new. Has working transfer case and both axles are good. I recently drove it around the block and it had no problems but it is not road worthy. This Jeep is great for an offroad project or a donor for your own project. I want to sell and i’m ready to negotiate too.’
Even includes a hubcap.

(03/03/2018) There’s just something about this CJ-5 I like. Must be the rims!
“1971 Kaiser Willys Jeep CJ5 ….. When I bought this Jeep it was a farm Jeep … used for running around the farm and such . Parked it in my garage and started the tear it down . But moved twice , and life just sort of got in the way .
I have many of the original parts and boxes of new stuff that will go with it !
It has a Chevy 4.3 l V6 ( Stainless headers thermo wrapped , Pertronix distributor , new carb . ) …. should give it much more get up and go ! Has the original 3 speed manual trans …Dana 27 front axel , Dana 40 rear .
The only parts I am missing are the front fenders ( They were just too rusted to save ! )
Has 4″ lift springs & shocks ,
New Bimini top , canvas doors , and lots of other parts in boxes ready for install .
Lots of work still needs to be done , so I do not want any buyer to think it just needs a little work to complete !
The photos are from before I started to tear it down !
I have parts kept in two garages and will start to get all in one place for a quick sale !”
Seller lists this as a 1953, but the serial number pegs it as as Feb 1960 CJ-5. This deal includes a new fiberglass tub and fenders and more.

“For Sale: 1955 Willys CJ5 Jeep. Has a Buick V-6 engine. Runs fine. Tub needs some TLC. We do not have the title, just a bill of sale, but it was previously registered and we have the old registration cards. We looked into registering it a few years ago, and all DMV needed to complete the process was for us to take it in for them to check the VIN numbers. Selling because we already have a ’58 and a ’73. PM or comment with any questions. Asking $2,500.”
Appears worth a look given the price.

“1957 Willys CJ5 with 1957 GMC bed. Runs well and drives well. 18 gal aluminum tank in bed. 30×10.50 x15 tires. New alternator, new water pump.”
This is being sold as a 1969 CJ-5 with only 8730 miles on it. Yet, the tail lights and the front parking lights are not original. The speedometer does not look original either (wasn’t the 69 CJ-5 still using the 0-9 speedo?). Anyone else have thoughts about it?
