Neither jeep runs.
“I have 2 Jeeps for parts. One is a 1972 CJ 5. One is a 1951 Willys CJ3A. Neither Jeep runs but both have motors. The best description would be a “rolling chassis”

NO Warranty

I will not separate
I WILL ALSO TRADE FOR A 16 FOOT LOW BOY TANDEM TRAILER WITH RAMPS AND TITLE.”
It runs, but is a project.
“I have a 1962 Willys for sale. It runs and all gears and 4wd run good. It has the F4 hurricane engine with electric fuel pump for easy starts. This is a great project jeep. I also have another willys chassis with wheels and title for it. Serious inquiries only please.”

Looks like there is $400 worth of parts here.
“Up for sale is a 60s willys jeep parts car. Has a good motor and trany. Runs and drives but is very crood. Body is shot. But the rest you might need so good luck. Breaks work but are not street worthy. Can be driven on to a trailer. No paper’s was used for many years on a farm.”
The windshield alone (assuming no cracks) is worth at least $100.
“1954 Jeep Willy for Parts or Restore.”
Listed as a 1952, this jeep has a fiberglass CJ-5 body and top. What it lacks in pedigree, it makes up for in new parts.
“Nice jeep for snow or keep at hunting land. Moving no longer needed. 1952 Willis. Great frame fiberglass body awesome runner lots of new parts.”
Runs, but needs work. Might be worth a look.
“Up for sale is, what I believe is a 1956, Willys Jeep CJ5. The serial number under the hood reads 57548-14914. I am selling this for my uncle so please excuse my lack of knowledge on the vehicle. I do know you will not be able to drive it home, however it does run and you can test drive it before buying it. It has a Buick V8 with a Turbo 350 automatic transmission with a B&M ratchet shifter. Has 36″ super swamper tires which are pretty dry rotted but all hold air. It has Warn manual locking front hubs with a Dana 30 front end and Dana 44 rear end. It has a homemade canopy top which can be easily removed. frame is in good shape and body is in decent shape with a few dings and dents and some surface rust. This jeep needs a restoration, but it is a running and, we’ll say moving, project.”
Looks like there is potential here. Has a Meyer hardtop.
“1957 Jeep Willys CJ5, ALL ORIGINAL. This beauty is a BARN FIND! Title clean. Ran when parked in 1981. Very little rust. Complete original condition. Serious inquires only please – contact me for more information. Best offer considered (please don’t low ball this beauty).”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500.
Has PTO and rear gearbox in back and a plow up front.
“For sale is a fully operational early CJ5. It runs, drives, and stops well. You can drive this right down the road, even at night as the lights also work. This vehicle was used for plowing churches, and was last registered on the road last fall.
Jeep has a nice, modern title.
Tub is rough – but the front half of the body, and the half top seem to be in good shape. The dash gauge is in great condition. There’s a heater near the passenger side.
Plow goes up/down and tilts. Rear PTO unit spins. You may power agricultural attachments with this system. Plow quick disconnects, and you’re off bashing the trails.”
Craig found this CJ-5 with a newly rebuilt engine and a fiberglass body that’s been cracked. Looks like there’s value here.
“CJ5 jeep. Engine was completely rebuilt by previous owner (huricane 4 cylinder) hardly has any miles on it since being rebuilt but hasent run in a couple years due to the carburetor needs to be cleaned. It has a fiberglass tub but is cracked from a tree falling on it. The tires are 33″ and are like brand new. We do not have a registration or title for it. The previous owner did not have one eitherl”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2000
(03/22/2017) Seems there’s some value here.

Needs work to get going. Ran great before wire harness was cut out. Complete wire harness and book to go with it. Has a PTO transfer case to go along with it as well as 2 other hoods and another set of tires. Frame is in great shape, body is not bad.”
Could be a good price. Seth spotted this one on Facebook. Has “plow brand new only used once”.

Craig shared this running/driving CJ-5.
“Jeep runs, and drives. 4cyl “f head” engine. 3 speed manual trans. Twin stick transfer case. 4×4 works great. NO TITLE. Would make someone a fun toy, or farm jeep. Brakes do not work, but who needs em with this low gearing. Needs a front leaf spring, ($60) online. Would be interested in trades of same or more value aswell.”
Has an extra chassis and parts. Not sure how much value is here.
“This is a 1959 Willys Jeep. I bought it as a project and as some things go just never got around to it. I had it running when I first bought it. Has been sitting about 3-4 years since then. I have boxes full of parts to go with it. A nice soft top and all rails. Also have an additional chassis with differentials and running gear. Title says 1959 Willys. I have a Willys and Jeep tailgate both of which are included. Too many odds and ends to list.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500.
Craig spotted this one.
“1966 jeep willy —-225 v6 engine that runs,,,, the transmission is good….. the frame is good…. needs a new body…. clean title—- 3 speed”
Maybe some value here.
“THIS IS A PROJECT NOT A RUNNING VEHICLE good project for someone, I have lost interest in it…. wife says too many projects. currently has a chevy straight 6 in it, runs but harmonic balancer loose. have stripped interior down to start rebuilding, haven’t had time to get back too it. possible trades for mini bike or dirt bike,”
David is selling this one. He says he’ll consider taking projects as partial payment.
“1957 cj5 $4900 located in NE Vermont. Frame is very good as are the front fenders and hood, the tub has been patched and the patches have been patched and some really bad bondo work done, it is however serviceable as is. NEW brakes including lines wheel and master cylinders, Exhaust including manifold, Radiator, alternator, battery, EZ wiring harness, tires, bikini top, carb kit and clutch including flywheel. I am working on getting a VERMONT title . Would be interested in partial trade maybe another CJ project not interested in newer rigs with computers and fuel injection. Cash is king”
Craig found this one. Could be a good price. Not sure if the driver’s floor has a patch or not.
“1965 Jeep
Have replaced Gas tank, Gas lines, Water Pump, Fuel pump, Keyed Ignition,
Accelerator Assembly, Master brake cylinder, Hoses, Newer battery.
Have signal controller not installed.
Hurricane 4Cyl”
Craig spotted this one. It is mostly a CJ-5.The body is civilian also (side of the body is stamped “Jeep”), but it has an M-38A1 dash.
“Posting up my 1957 Jeep CJ. It’s a CJ-5 made by willys overland and is dressed up to look like an M38-A1 Which is the military version on this jeep model. I’ve owned it for a little over 2 years, the previous owner started a frame off restoration and was working toward the military theme but lost interest. I decided to source the rest of the parts and finish it off. It’s completely rust free and everything works. The 4cylinder motor runs great and the 3-speed manual transmission shifts well. The 4wheel drive works as well and has a high and low range with front manual locking hubs.
It has 5 good BFG AT/KOs and runs about 55mph down the road with no issues. Has brand new paint and decals and working lights and gauges. The only issues are the rear pinion seal leaks and the generator needs to be rebuilt. It runs fine without it I just keep a tender on the battery and never have a probkem. Comes with a dummy 50 Cal mounted in the back. I’m sure there’s a lot I’m missing but if you’re interested feel free to call or text and I can give you further details. This has been a great jeep and lots of fun just time to move on to something else. Looking to Get $9000 but will entertain reasonable offers if you’re a serious buyer”
UPDATE: Status Unknown. Was $2500.
Craig shared this one. There might be value here. The seller is away and his parents are selling it. It’s not clear if they can sign off on the title or not (Based on PA law, it may depend on when the title was issued).
“3 speed manual, four cylinder. New Mickey Thompson Baja claw tires. 8000lb Ramsey winch. Brakes and clutch are brand new. Rear differential may need some attention as well as fuel pump (…or fuel filter). It ran in the fall, but now it only runs if fuel is added manually into carb. Some simple TLC will have this up and running in no time. Body is really in decent shape and was being prepped for paint. I am in the military and I don’t have time to work on it. My parents are my contacts for I am unfortunately not available at this time”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3000.
Runs and drives and has a PTO winch.
“1962 Willys Jeep for sale. This jeep is in original condition and has the original engine and transmission. It runs and drives good and comes with a bumper mounted winch.”

Not a factory hardtop, but a Koenig hardtop. Runs and plows.
