“I have a 1962 willys cj5 jeep that I’ve been working on for about a year fixing up to make road ready and I just lost interest. This is a fun jeep to drive it has a full fiberglass kit on it matched with the 4cyl motor it gets up and goes. Motor runs good Trans and 4wd shift well it has a new clutch, carb, exhaust, fuel tank and lines, wiring, lights, brakes, and lines and I’m sure I’m forgetting stuff. As far as what it needs to make road legal again is a windshield glass and a few odds and ends put back on. I have a soft top for it that I never installed yet it is used. I am asking $2500 please email me with any questions or if u would like to make a appointment to come test drive thanks. ”

Jonah’s selling his CJ-5.
“Up for sale is my 1970 CJ5 Renegade 1.
This is a great survivor with almost all the factory Renegade items still on the Jeep. There are many spots where you can still see the original “Winner Green” paint, most noticeably inside the tool box under the passenger seat.
Some of the more recognized Renegade items are: The two gauges left of the steering column, dual ballast resitors, factory dash pad, rear marker lights, and oil tank skid plate.
This Jeep runs, stops, steers, and shifts.
The original Buick 225 V6 has been upgraded with the Petronix ignition, new spark plugs and wires, new radiator hoses, water outlet, water pump, and thermostat.

(03/24/2016) Maybe there’s a solid stock jeep here that just needs some cosmetics?
“This Willy has had only two owners its whole life and only has 64,719 original miles, mostly towed miles to hunt in other states! It is road worthy and ready, but prime for offroad use! It has a highly sought after Warn M8000 Winch.
My, very reliable, mechanic did the following work:
Oil and Filter Changed
Replaced Fuel Filter and inlet hose to pump
Replaced Brake Master Cylinder
Replaced both front brake hoses and brake line to right front wheel
Flushed and Bleed system
Replaced U joints on both drive shafts
Replaced belt and repair alternator mounting
Cleaned and Packed front wheel bearings
Replaced both the Front Brake Shoes and Cylinders and Rear Brake Shoes and Cylinders
Replaced Rear Axel Seals at Drums.
Replaced Rear Brake Hose and Brake Line to Right Side
Drilled out broken boot in left front hub”
Craig spotted this one. No pics provided, but it sounds good.
“I have a 1957 Willys Jeep. Turn key drive away. Mostly original has been converted to 12 volts. The engine is the 4 cyl “F” head. This is a very low geared rig top speed is 50 but does not like that for extended periods of time. The 4×4 works it is a three speed. Manual drum brakes. It is blue in color. has an open CJ type body with a bikini top.
This runs great and is a close to original 57′ not a daily driver. Could be made into a show vehicle easy. The frame is solid it has had a repair done but it was done very professionally. I have been told it is worth every penny but I am willing to dicker some.
If you want to modify a jeep this is not the one. Its that good.”

Marty shared this one. Looks like some parts value here. Seller didn’t know year, but the VIN indicates it is a 1959.
“Late 50s Willys jeep needs a lot of work but be a cool project or parts. It’s all original as far as I know motor is stuck does not run. looking to get ”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500.
Marty shared this one.
“1984 CJ5 350 Project. Build your own crawler or toy with these components. Everything except engine and wheels are included. Straight body, no dents, a little rust here and there, but manageable. Frame, body parts, windshield, running gear, tranny, transfer case, etc. all inclusive. ”
I really like this one. I think it could make a good project jeep. Looks like it has the white pointer 0-9 speedo. I just happen to have a NOS one of those …
“Neat project for somebody. Old CJ-5 was used in an orchard for years, so it has dings and dents. Missing passenger seat and windshield frame, has NOT run in years but it turns over fine. Pretty rare to find a Jeep project this old with original paint and all five original wheels. Still has the F head 4 cyl. and the floors & tub seem very solid.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2200.
Craig spotted this fiberglass-bodied project. It includes a brand new top.
“1976 CJ5 project. New fiberglass tub, windshield frame, hood and fenders. (2) soft tops included. One soft top is new and in box still ($800). Drivetrain & frame are solid and have been painted black. Engine is original inline 6 cylinder and will need to be rebuilt. 33×12.50 tires are new and have never been on the road. (They have been sitting for a few years) No seats included but I do have a box of interior parts etc. No title, sold with bill of sale. This is a clean Jeep project and would make a fun toy for next summer.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
This is an unusual build.
“Usually when we tell you about a mean Jeep it’s because someone has transformed it into the ultimate off-roader, but this complete custom built 1969 Jeep CJ5 is about teaching others a lesson on the streets. Beneath the wild green paint and lowered suspension lies some of the best Ford performance components you know. And once you look at the price, it’s not just a great Jeep or a great Cobra; it’s one amazing overall deal.
There is no pretending this is an off-road Jeep. The metallic green paint is out to intimidate the streets, not the trail. At has the kind of luster from the modern clearcoat that will act like a beacon attracting people from across the show field during the day, and at night, it catches the light and almost glows better than a neon sign. That’s why it has been applied over every inch of the exterior, including the bumpers, grille, and hood pins. The only thing to grab more attention than the green are those custom applies sliver ghost flames. But more than just paint, this one has some great custom street rod details, like the chopped windshield, lowered suspension, crystal clear headlights, and the Weld-style 15-inch alloys.

Nice looking jeep.
“This is the ultimate Jeep survivor!! It has everything you may want for an outstanding Jeep CJ for any collection. The Jeep was owned by a Willis Jeep Dealer in Indianapolis. It still has the statement of origin or manufactured. It still has the dealer cost sheet. It has 12623 original miles.
It still has the original tube tires. Original paint, top (in bad condition), seats, accessories, hoses, belts, floor mats. Tho only thing that has changed is the shocks, gas cap and clutch. I have owned the Jeep for 20 years. I was going to use it, but realized how special it was and didn’t touch it except for special occasions. I have only put 20 miles on it in the last 3 years. I got it out last night to take pictures and it started right up. I Also have the Willys parts pages for the model. There is a few surface rust spots, one on the tail (pictured) and driver/passenger floor pan. This jeep really deserves a museum or display collection. I have plenty of other photos if needed.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was listed at $6900.
Has some extra pin striping.
“1963 Willys Jeep V6 in great condition with custom pin striping by Mitch Kim. Everything works. Disc brakes, brand new full top and brand new bikini top. 3-speed manual. This is a very clean vintage Jeep that was in the Roadster show in 1977 (we have photos we can share) and runs and drives great. Chrome throughout with brand new wheels and tires.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5500. This might have the miner hood ornament on the front.
Seems worth a look.
“1967 Jeep CJ5 Tuxedo Park, automatic transmission, factory 225 V6 motor new soft top and doors, winch, tow bar, over drive, posi, $5,500. Email me your phone number with the ad and I will contact you. I don’t have text.
Please note if you are asking about the orange blazer in the background, I don’t have it. ”
Looks like a Kelly hardtop. I love the “mother and daughter snow removal” on the door. Has some rust issues.
“This classic Jeep CJ spent much of its life used for plowing snow and stored in a barn. We believe it has had 2-3 owners and the miles appear to be original. Please check out the DOT codes on the tires. You will see that they are November of 1972. It includes the Western plow and controls, as well as the hard top and doors. It was stored in Southeast WI and is a fairly complete vehicle. It is in need of a complete restoration as you can see. Please scroll down and enjoy the 250+ photos.”
is that a ventilating windshield?
“1951 Willys Jeep body with original title. Vehicle is mounted on mid-1980’s chassis with both front and rear suspension/drive assemblies, no engine or transmission, frame has been sandblasted and painted black. A good project for someone with fabrication/mechanical skills. $1000.00 or best offer.”
