“Price Reduced! Complete frame-off restoration in 2012 using an abundance of stainless hardware and body sealing. Resto work completed by experienced professionals back to original specifications except for upgrade to 1966 Dauntless V-6 engine with electronic ignition for reliable starting and operation. The CJ-6 is identical to the CJ-5 but has an additional 20″ in length added to the wheel base. This makes a HUGE improvement in handling stability and ride. Includes optional split windshield. This is right hand drive.
“Rare 1973 Jeep CJ-6, 4WD, RIGHT HAND Drive (the steering wheel is on the right). Custom Roll cage (never used), removable hard top. 273 ci engine needs a little work.
I used to ride this down at Ohio Power with a bunch of FJ-40s and this always held-up to the ‘Jeep Tradition’. Lots of fun to drive for a lefty. Need the space in my barn for other projects and don’t have the time I used to for this. Email if interested.”

(05/17/2015) The jeep looks solid.
“Very rare cj-6 tuxedo park model with a 1/2 cab hardtop and doors. I know the asking price might be high (I am from Denver :), but I’m uncertain of the value of such a rare special edition model so before letting it go for less than I should, I figured I’d start at a price I love, and see where that goes. Also, it needs a little to be drivable but figured it may be of no use to make it drivable if someone is buying it to tear down and restore, so I’m listing it now, just in case you can’t live without this particular one!
I just bought this and not sure what to do with it? Get it running and enjoy it, or sell it and make a bit of money, so you might get to decide for me?
Its currently not in road worthy condition but it did get driven onto the trailer, so it would not take much money to make it road worthy. A battery, a carb, and the brakes gone through, and I’m sure a few other bits, but its not far from being drivable.
The paint job is great from 50′ with old eyes, and downright “quick and dirty” from 5′ with just about any eyes, but its still presentable and a pretty neat truck.
Rust is not absent by any means, but its not a rust bucket either. See photos in link below.
Let me know if you have any questions.
I might be open to trade for a porsche 914…modified is ok (prefer 3.6 914-6 if I’m begging, or LS motor 🙂 but a project is not really what I can deal with right now so trades best if they are project free.”
UPDATE: Still Available.

“Rare 1959 Willys Jeep CJ6. Has chevy 4.3 V6, TH350, dana 300 twin stick, power steering and power brakes (front disks), hard to find hard top, 12k lb winch, hard doors with power windows and half soft doors. Fun to drive. All reasonable offers considered!”
By survivor I think the seller means this jeep is on life support. It’s pretty beat up.
“A super rare survivor this is one of only 160 Tuxedo park CJ-6 built in 1966. She has the dauntless BUICK V-6 powerplant with 3 speed floor shift. This thing absolutely ROCKS !.
She has an original Positrac rear diff. and WARN locking front hubs.
The 6′ plow works great and I have been using this beast of a Jeep for over 20 years during winter months at -30 and she starts and runs when most cars won’t
Research of the VIN has found this to be the rarest CJ-6 Jeep ever built and is truly a great survivor. Only 490 CJ-6 TUXEDO PARK models were ever built through all the years of production 1964-1967. Only160 of these were built in 1966. I call this a HOLY GRAIL vehicle because it is truly a rare Jeep.
Even though this Super Jeep runs great and has been used yearly this uber rare Jeep is in need of restoration.”
It’s a project.
