“1950 WILLYS Jeepster 6cyl. 3Speed OverDrive.
very nice condition, 78,000 miles.”
UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $9950.
Could be a good price.
“This Jeepster has had a frame off restoration. I would not call it show room quality, but very nice and presents well. The engine has been rebuilt and it is ready to drive. There were roughly only 20,000 of these made and they are very difficult to find. The interior has all been redone and I could not find any rust on it. It has never seen the rain. The restore job was done about 20 years ago. I drove it up to my house and the gentleman I bought it from drove it around also. The title is clean.”
Looks in great shape. The engine uses a modern filter.
“Nicely restored 1950 Willys Jeepster. 6 cxl. engine. Recently gone over by local mechanic and given a clean bill of health.
This car was restored in 1998. I have many picture of the restoration, Engine removed and rebuilt. Body professionally repainted. 12v. system. New carburetor. The restoration even included a CD player an AC. (The AC is under dash, did not mess up the dash, and can be easily removed)
This car sold a few years ago for $20K. (I have documentation). I purchased it for less last year. I have had fun with the car, but some priorities have changed, so now want to find it a new home.
This Jeepster runs very well and feels good at higher speed . Tires are in good shape Paint in excellent shape. Color is a deep gray and appears to have been done quite professionally. Body is in excellent condition. Top and side curtains just OK. ”
Body has been media blasted and primed.
“1948 Willys Jeepster. Rust free and very straight body which has been plastic media blasted and primed at the cost of $2700. All the interior has been done in a modern pattern/materials. The plan was to make it a driver with a 225 Buick V6 and turbo 350 which have both been completely rebuilt and included as well. The frame has not been modified yet so if you wanted to go back to the original drive train you could very easily. The original engine and trans are gone and not included. Some of the plating and polishing of the stainless has been done as well. Lots of extra parts included. A lot of time and money were spent on the project unfortunately there wasn’t enough time left to finish it. It’s a great start for someone wanting a project. Due to the location in the garage pictures are not the best.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $9500.
Nice looking Jeepster. Has a few updates.
“1949 Willys Overland Jeepster. Very solid with all stainless and chrome in very good condition. 327 Chevy V-8 with 350th transmission and gm rear end, engine has less than 4k miles. Runs and drives great. Dual exhaust, tires are like new. Running and driving project that needs a few things to be 100%. Top frame work is there it needs canvas and side curtains to be complete. Wiper motor and turnsignals need finished all parts are there to complete. ”
Wow! All kinds of vehicles for auction. Below are just two of many pages listed vehicles. One of the items looks like a Roof Palomino Mower. Auction is June 26th.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6000.
Seller is including a parts Jeepster.
“I am selling my hard to find 73 jeep commando. This is the C104 version with the longer wheel base, giving you much more storage area in the rear of the Jeep. I initially purchased to do a restoration/modification job, but took a new job that keeps me from having the time needed for it. I spent the last year collecting parts for this to get it ready to strip down and restore it.
UPDATE: Status Unknown. Was $8000.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3600.
Nothing fancy, but a reasonable price.
“Summer is coming! My wife and I have decided to sell our 1969 Jeepster Commando. This cool off-road convertible is fairly stock with a little over 76k on the odometer. It is registered and the original Dauntless 225 V6 hums along quietly when we take her to town on nice sunny days. Please note that I would not consider this fun old jeep as a candidate for a showroom quality restoration since it has nearly half a century of scratches, dings and dents from doing what jeeps do best. I believe it was used as a hunting rig for a few decades. The floor pans were replaced a long time ago and are still rock solid. Like any old jeep, it needs someone who will maintain it and can give it a little TLC when needed.
This sale also includes the following items:
– Full set of all-terrain tires with tons of tread (see Picture)
– A rear seat in good condition ( I believe from an early CJ)
– Full size spare
– 4 sets of tire chains
– An original Jeepster hardtop (in rough condition).
– Rochester Shop Manual
– Original Title from the original owners.
– Some other spare engine and transmission parts including an old Cobra 29 CB and Antenna.
Here is a really great Petrolicious video on an awesome example of a Dauntless 225 Jeepster as a daily driver: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qTc70-1cYQk
I am asking the reasonable price of $3,600 obo. Please, no low ballers or tire kickers. If this post is still up then it is still available. Also, it is worth mentioning that the Jeepster Club of America will be holding their 50th Anniversary jamboree later this month. ”
