Is that supposed to be a Netherlands flag on the hood?
“This jeep is in good original condition. Just hit 40,000 miles. Jeep is close to being 100% original. Replaced batteries and motor was rebuilt less than 300 miles ago. Runs and drives great. Would make the perfect candidate if you wanted to do a frame off restoration there is no rust in the vehicle or frame. You could keep the vehicle just like it is and enjoy its originality.”

“Last person bailed on our agreement. would like find it a new home before storing it for the winter!!
This m38a1 is slightly modified it has a about a 3 inch shackle lift with upgraded springs, a 1978 buick v6, a warn over drive unit, has been converted to 12v and the seats were jus redone. Everthing else is stock. Body is in above average shape compared to the others on craigslist but it is not a beauty queen. This jeep has done everything I’ve wanted it to do.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3500.
(10/07/2016) It’s not running. It looks to have a Buick V6 with an Edelbrock dual plane intake. It’s not clear to me what the hydraulics were for (not much need for a snow plow in Clovis). This does have the aftermarket dash (I’ve yet to find an ad for it) and half doors, similar but not quite like the harris Dura-Door (seen below). They were made in Bakersfield, so that explains why they are seen on so mostly California jeeps. Here’s an example ad:
Now for the ad:
“Jeep Willys does run. Body’s is in decent shape. I bought as project but ended up getting another project (a Harley) and can afford to do both so I’m selling the jeep. It will need to be towed because it has no brakes. Well the brakes are there but they have been sitting for years. It has a engine swap some kind of v6. New battery. Carb was just redone by CADs on Fresno. Needs lots of tlc. But is a really cool jeep. I’d be willing to sell or maybe trade for small truck or Harley parts and cash. My
Bike is a 98 Dyna FXD so I need Evo parts. Like a pumped up engine. In no rush sell and need no help selling. Jeep is on non op.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3650.

“1956 Willys/Jeep Mostly stock. Ford 289. New brakes and susp. work. Extra fenders, hood and windshield. Runs well No major rust. No text messg. Reduced $3650.”

“I have a nice 1953 M38a1. Overall good condition, runs and drives great. I only want to trade for an emissions exempt or passing Jeep Grand Wagoneer.

Text for more info.
I do not need help selling. If the add is still up, it’s still available.”

(11/17/2015) This appears to be the same jeep that was sold a few years ago, but it’s condition appears to be worsened. If it has the “314” on the fenders, then it is the same one.
“1954 Willys Jeep it is actually a Mp38a it has a Buick 231 odd fire V6 with power steering also has headers. It is 3 speed manual with twin stick transfer case At one point it was the brookville Fire dept. grass unit. It is great running and driving jeep it has a lot of new front end parts on it. I took the gas tank out that sets under the drivers seat and put one underneath the back put its not hooked up yet I put a boat tank in the back just to be able to move it around you can drive it it could also use floor pans it has had all new rear tub section replaced with little work this could be a very nice jeep. ”
Soft looks in pretty good shape. There’s value here.
“Great project car. Originally deployed as a Marine Ordinance vehicle. Engine requires work to run (I know of a rebuilt one available for $600 – easy to put in), and brakes need work. Rolls and shifts through all gears easily. Converted from 24V to 12V. Some rust, but solid car. Odometer shows 52,085 – unknown if accurate. Original placards show the history of this solid vehicle. Full manual reprints go with car. Let me know if you have questions or want more pictures, or want to see it. Some additional parts convey with vehicle. You will need a trailer to take it away.”
Runs and drives. Nothing fancy.
“1956 Willys/Jeep Basically stock..Ford 289. New tires and brakes. Some suspension work. Have extra fenders, hood, windshield”
Looks good. Pics could be better.

“Original, partially restored military Jeep. Solid and straight. Runs, drives, and stops. 4 cyl., 3-speed.
Was used for years by a local fire department, so it has been painted red (with evidence of green, primer. and blue(?). More pics/info by text.”
Neither run.
“1965 Willys M38A1 Army Jeep & 1952 Dodge M37 Powerwagon. Jeep has WW2 Flathead 4 engine. Powerwagon has mopar 318 engine with 727 automatic transmission, divorced transfer case & original running gear. Also has hidden hydraulic dump body. These are for restoration or parts. These are not running condition they are priced low because they need work, don’t bother unless you’re looking for parts or a project. This is a package deal $2500 takes both. I don’t need to sell them I just could use the space so don’t come trying to lowball. The truck has been titled but the jeep never has so it will come with a bill of sale. Get them out of my yard! ”
