1944 MB:
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4999
(02/01/2017) Looks in good shape.
“Up for sale is what I believe to be a model year 1943 Willys MB jeep body. I took it apart about 30 years ago as it was on a GPW Ford frame. It is original and in excellent condition for a 70+ year old, mass produced combat vehicle for the government. These were never made to be like a Porsche and had dents and scratches on delivery. Please note there is a puncture hole above the airfilter mounting bracket at the transition to the cowl. It looks like a small forklift fork hit it, but I don’t know. The rear floor (cargo area) was replaced when I got it.
David has this MB for sale. Call him at 937-554-9885 or email at davidldunaway@gmail.com.
“Purchased March 2016, since replaced gas tank, new wheel bearings, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, shoes, lines, DOT5 fluid, new spare. Includes new canvas top (not installed), data plates. Tipp City Ohio, 45371.”

“Hello,
I have a 1944 Willy’s Jeep 4 x 4
Current registration
3 speed transmission
Rebuilt Carb and fuel pump
New slave cylinders and master cylinder (with vacuum assist)
Good tires and wheels (after market)
Have seat frames but no upholstery
12 volt system
F head motor
The jeep has been sitting at my Arizona river house for many years. The Jeep has always ran and was used for towing my boat back and forth to the launch ramp. The Jeep sat under awning and cover when not in use. The jeep needs work to get fixed up. It is a project and the motor isn’t original for the 1944 year. The brakes need to be bled to get working. I will post pictures soon.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3900.
Runs and drives.
“It is in great condition. We also have a tow hitch for it so you can attach it to your SUV or Truck and trailer it to the trails.(deckers) This is great for the family and easier to use than a ATV . Motor is really strong and it runs great. New seats, New grease pins, New Shocks, New rims and tires, roll bar. Clean Co title 3900 bucks. ”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500.
(10/02/2016) Starter needs to be replace. The engine very well could be stock, but not stock in that jeep. It’s a mix of MB and CJ parts.

“Runs and drives 4×4 looking to barter with some thing good and old that runs and drives let me know what u have even if it’s a non running car or truck as long as it has everything with it.”
Maybe some value in the chassis.
“All for 400$ No title body rough and will part out.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $9500.
UPDATE: I mentioned that this could be brought back to original without too much expense. Brian challenged me on that claim (thank you) and determined it could roughly cost about $5800 to do so. Therefore, I shall modify my earlier claim and say that this could be returned to a more militaryish theme without too much effort or expense. 🙂
“1942 Willys Jeep

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2000.
(12/01/2016) Includes a trailer that is half GPW and Half CJ-5.
“1944 Willys Jeep Does Not Run, The Old Warn overdrive unit went out 2yrs ago. The Boss 302 Mustang Cobra engine was solid when overdrive unit went. Has a T18 Transfer case, Dana Adaptor, and Transmission. It has been sitting covered for 2yrs. Body is in good shape( some rust),33″ Tires, Pintle hitch, winch, bucket seats, Bikini top and doors. The trailer is a unique oddity, 2 Willys jeeps welded together. I was in the process of restoring, decided to sell, has surface rust. You will not find another trailer like it. No trades, cash only. Feel free to call for questions. Great off road package!! Sold as a package!”
Starts and runs, but carb is off.
“i have a willys jeep that starts and runs. carb is off at this time. been stored in the garage since i had it. i have the title for it. i have other parts that are for the willys or gpw that i will be selling separately. i will get better pictures in a few days. it has the original 4 cylinder in it with the T84 Transmission. i have drove it before but been sitting for the last few years. ”
It’s got rear floaters. It just might have an MB/GPW chassis. Looks to have a replacement body.
“Too many projects too little time. Include second grill, and set of fenders. I believe the owner before me started restoring and didn’t get far. From what I can tell new front and rear axles. I have signed not transferred title in hand. It’s at my business but is personally for sale. Obviously some rust but most are just light surface, to my knowledge the pan is in good shape.
There is a 4 cylinder engine under the hood – but not running.’
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5500.
I have a 1942 WWII Willys MB for sale in Alexander City, AL. I have a two and a half year rebuilt motor. It’s a late 40s or early 50s jeep flate head L-134 motor. It’s about 75 to 80 percent complete project. Everything but body so far has been painted lusterless OD green. Here is a list of what I have done to it.
-new brake lines
-new wheel cylinders
-new master cylinder
-new brake pads
-new body kit from the Philippines (includes tub, windshield screen, fenders, hood, top bow, window seals, and grille)
-new front bumper with frame gussets to bumper
-new rear cross member
-Korean style pintle hook
-fully rebuilt L-134 from late 40’s early 50’s (motor mounts facing in opposite directions so I had to modify the frame mount brackets to fit) Hasn’t been cranked in a few years since the Mechanic did it in front of me.
-6 volt system
-rebuilt generator

“1941 Willys MB Jeep – Slat Grille
Asking $8500 or best reasonable offer.
This was the 1st year Jeeps were ever made. Has the one year only slat grille which is very rare.
Willys made its first 25,808 MBs Jeeps with a welded flat iron “slat” radiator grille which were produced from November 18, 1941 to March 6, 1942.
Runs & drives great! Solid Body no rust. Tires like new.
This Jeep has a Buick V6 Engine.
The Buick V6 engine tooling was sold to Kaiser-Jeep in the early 60’s and they were introduced as the “Dauntless V6″ into the Jeep CJ5, CJ6 & C101 for the 1966 model year. The 225 Buick V6 was offered as an option over 4 cylinder engines in 1966-1971 CJ5 and CJ6 Jeeps.
Great for a usable driver or is a great starter vehicle for a complete restoration!!
Has a clear AZ title.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $5000.
(12/26/2016) A tailgate may have been added.
“V-6 Conversion Done Right. 12 volt upgrade. Runs. been stored.Needs right side axel. Very Rare! has Very Hrd to find Combat Wheels ! everthing on this Jeep is in great shape. This jeep has stories to tell. CASH/TRADE”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was No Price.
The seller guessed that this a Willys MA, but he was quickly educated by some folks on Facebook.
“This one is pretty much original and completely untouched. You will never find this Jeep again!
The newer seats are not installed just sitting in the body. Original seats are in there, but tore up. Please, Do not text or email if you are not interested in purchasing”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay
Pretty complete, but rusty.
“This is an as found 1944 Willys MB. This is a USMC jeep and has the undercoating and a small cut out on the hood for the air intake. This was pulled out of an old van body where it has been in storage for 50+ years. It has a ton of old paint that is coming off in chunks. The motor is stuck from carbon build up. The transmission and transfer case are free. It rolls just fine. There is some rust in the normal places. Under the hood is complete. This has four original and very nice combat wheels. The two wheels on the drivers side are not included. They are just for moving the jeep around because two of the combats have flats.
There is really not much to say that the pictures can’t show you. It is still 6 volt and has seelite headlight bulbs. The data plates were robbed off along time ago but the frame tag is intact. It has an M-series bumper and an M38A1 grab handle. This is sold as is, where is, and comes with a bill of sale only.”
UPDATE: Still Available.
(07/12/2015) Ran twenty years ago.
“42′ Willys Jeep. Excellent condition, very little work needed. 90% original, has been converted to a 12 v, still has original engine, go devil. Upholstery is great, soft top, was running when stored 20 years ago. Needs a good home.”
Maybe someone can use this.
“Tub only for you MB Willy’s Jeep project.
If it is still listed, I still have it.”
It’s an M-38 that has a few MB items on it. The seller believes the windshield to be an MB windshield, but it appears to be an early CJ-2A windshield.

“I am selling my Willys M38 Jeep that was finished as a MB clone. This 1952 military jeep was built for the Korean war and is a true military jeep, but this one has the MB grille/bucket lights and older style windshield added.
Many new parts. The Willys runs and drives well and is parade ready. No oil leaks to speak of. Maybe one or two drips at the most. I drive this jeep every other day to the store and everybody honks and waves. This is a great jeep for you to have fun with the kids and grandkids as it has all the safety upgrades, such as blinkers, tail lights, seat belts, head lights, black out lights, and horn.
This jeep starts every time winter or summer. 4×4 works as it should. Not perfect, but ready to drive and have fun with. It cruises about 40 mph. The speedometer reads about 8 mph too fast so you’ll think you’re driving 48 mph! Clean Kansas Title.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4000
(11/19/2016) This may be a mix of a CJ body and WWII chassis.
“1942 Willys Jeep.
Runs and drives excellent, I’ve driven it all over and it’s really impressive how well it drives. Most of the gauges and lights don’t work, but should be easy to fix. There’s not a lot to these things. Has the original motor. No clue on the mileage. Has a manual 3spd transmission. Removable hard top. No doors. Converted to power steering. Converted to 12v.
Serious inquires only.
