“PLEASE DO NOT TEXT, YOU WILL NOT GET REPLY, MUST CALL DIRECT TO DO BUSINESS. Early 5o’s- 60’s Willy Army Jeep, for parts. ”
Jay spotted this MB parts jeep.
“Based on the research I’ve done I believe it to be a Ford. Was able to locate a body number and that indicates its a Ford. The frame is in good condition and it has the machine gun mount. Body is ruff. No engine or transmission and not really interested in parting it out. Due to previous owners modifications I am unable to locate a vin number.”
Could have some parts value.
“I have two early model willys jeeps. One is complete with an engine the other does not have an engine. Asking $900 for both or $500 each. ”
Might be an early MB tub? There’s no glove box.

(10/27/2016) Another jeep with turbine rims. There appears to be a thin skin that’s been added to the driver’s side.

(10/22/2016) It runs. The seller doesn’t know much about it, but understands it isn’t original.
“My apologies I am not an expert on what I am selling! This is a 1943 Willys Jeep with some modifications. A family member recently passed away and this Willys Jeep was his project. The jeep runs great and is a lot of fun to drive. As you can see from the pictures there are non-original items like the steering wheel assembly and the diamond plating. I have the title. It’s been garage kept. I can’t tell you much more than that. I will be happy to answer any questions you have (if you tell me how to find it on the jeep) and/or take more pics, whatever information you need.”
Not sure there is much value here.
“For sale is my old jeep. Best offer takes it home.”
Auction opens on 11/08. It appears to have a replacement body. Starting bid is $25.
“1942 Willys MB Jeep 4 x 4. Serial # 2T18124. Mileage reads 28,733. Powered by a 4 cylinder Willys Go Devil gas engine. 3 speed manual transmission with 2 speed transfer case and locking hubs. Brakes have been upgraded to 11 inch drums. This jeep has a Braden power take off winch, these winches run off the engine power and don’t kill your battery. This Jeep starts easily and runs very well, the transmission and 4 wheel drive are smooth, quiet and work as they should. This Jeep has a 1951 M38 body tub. The Jeep comes with a full top, doors, bikini top, spare parts, towing lights and a technical manual. The rifle in the rifle rack is not included in the sale. The unusual sounds you here in the video is a building being demolished next door. Overall a nice solid, good driving old Jeep. To watch the video, click on the Video tab next to the Photo Tab above. California buyers will be registered at the site. Out of state buyers will receive the clear California title to complete transfer in their home state.”

Has a few updates, but there’s some stock MB still here.
“1943 Willy Military Jeep, complete overhaul motor-transmission & transfer case – complete overhaul of all brakes-new seats-12v system==clean title=( have kept black tag up to date ) Run Fine (Serious inquire only)”
Needs some work and has some civilian parts, but there’s still enough here to check it out.
“1942 Willys MB body on CJ2A frame. Runs and drives well. All it would need to be a driver is the drivers side rear blinker replaced front drivers blinker and the brakes need adjusting. Body is quite solid for a 74 year old Jeep. Engine runs and shift through the gears but could probably use a tune up. Can be towed easily using the attached tow bar even at freeway speeds. ”
UPDATE: Still Available.
(05/05/2016) Looks solid.
1942 Willy’s, flat head 4,new stiffer suspension to fix sag and firm up ride. overdrive, new top, new radiator, new carburetor,”
For some reason there appears to be a serial number tag on the outside of the passenger front frame rail.

– Full Restoration in 2013
– Rewired
– New Paint
– New Upholstery
– Small chip in paint underneath the drivers side entrance
– New Tires & Tubes ”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $3500.
It’s a project with a Sears hardtop.
“Letting go of my ’44 MB. Awesome rolling project with a unique piece raily to never seen. This one has a hard top! It is an aftermarket hard top sold by Sears in the early 50’s and is prett rare as I have never seen another one on an MB. Has Buick V6 with cast iron block, great reliable engine. I have a few boxes of other spare parts to add in, seat pads, stick shift boots, brake cylindars, etc. Needs an altenator and a new front passenger side axle. Both easily findable after market parts.
Has been garaged since I got it from my uncle a few years back. It was in working condition when he parked it about 20 years ago and sat outside under a covered roof during that time, so pretty well preserved with very little rust issues. Other than someone stealing the altenator off of it, it is all there.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500.
Listed as a 1953, it looks like an MB/GPW.
“53 willys $2000 OBO Needs work , ran when I parked it . Great project , mostly all their -no top”
