(10/13/2015) This is an MB on a CJ chassis.
“This is a great project for a Jeep person! Two Jeeps for the price of one. First is a military MB Jeep. The body is in good shape, solid, has recored radiator, new front bumper, original rims have been blasted and ready for paint in the back. Some other parts in boxes go along with also. No engine, transmission or transfer case. This one is easily restoreable and would be a great parade vehicle or military collectible. The second Jeep is a civilian CJ2A which is very similar to the first one, it has the drivetrain still in it. Engine is stuck but could probably be freed up. Body on this one is not as bad as some , between the two you can make one runner! Neither one currently has a title, but can be titled with little effort. Asking $2200 or best offer for both, need to go before winter so come look and make an offer!”
These jeeps will be auctioned tomorrow. They look to be MBs and an M-38A1. No other descriptions provided.

“1945 Willys MB Jeep
This jeep has been sitting for 5 years since it last ran. The engine will run, but has not been started lately.
T-84 transmission.
L134 motor – out of something newer like a CJ2A.
Body is pretty straight.
Not a lot of rust for the year.
There are pictures of rust holes in the floorboard of driver and passenger side.”
Seller has listed this as a 1943, but it looks more like a CJ-3A or even a DJ (no gas inlet).
“PLEASE READ ENTIRE POST All original, not currently running, however it will run with a battery and oil change. It has been sitting a couple years. It ran when I parked it and it’s stored indoors. “This jeep is titled and registered (historic) in the state of NJ as a 1945 Willys MB. It was originally made by Willys for the US Army during WWII. Sensible, conservative frame-off resto in 2012. Starts, runs, shifts, steers, and stops great. No excessive smoke or leaks, no popping out of gear, and no rust. Primed with Rustoleum red oxide and finished with three coats of Gillespie 319. New repro (Beachwood OD 3) canvas seats. This is not a trailer queen. Turns heads in parades, at car shows, or as a daily runabout from April to October. Stored in heated garage on trickle charger every winter. If you’re a military buff, this jeep is ready for the hood and bumper stencils of your choice. If you just like old jeeps, this is the very first production model of the vehicle Enzo Ferrari called “America’s only true sports car.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $13,500.
(09/05/2015) Not a perfect restoration, but looks solid.
“1945 Willys MB full restoration, off the frame”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4000.
(10/12/2015) It needs some work.
“I have a 1945 Willys Jeep MB. I originally got it to restore and as such have gathered a bunch of parts. I drove the jeep into my shop 2 years ago and started pulling the transmission to have it rebuilt and haven’t touched it since. The transmission and transfercase are still in the jeep. It will need to be trailered. I do have another transmission that’s good to go but it’s the civilian version. This is a military jeep with the dash tags still on it. It does have rust holes and isn’t perfect, it’s a project after all. The brakes have all been redone, the tires are good and I have clear tx title in my name ready to go. Some of the parts I have include a transmission, disassembled transfer case, pto, radiator with shroud, hood, windshield hinges and a bunch of miscellaneous small parts. I’m asking $4500 cash OBO. I’m also willing to trade for first generation dodge cummins parts. I hate to sell the jeep but I have more projects than time and I’d like to see it go to someone who will do something with it.
Feel free to email me for more pics or questions. And if you have any 12 valve cummins parts. Make me an offer, all I can say is no.”
UPDATE: Pics now provided.
“2 Willys MB military jeeps 1/2 Ford 6 cylinder with complete running gear and might run. The other one is gutted they would make good wheelers hunting rigs or parts. Call or text only no email thank you I will ship it.”

Original tires and wheels have been replaced. Plow frame was mounted by a previous owner. We did not use it for plowing here.”
