“hello everyone! Here is a recently reconditioned 1952 M100 1/4 Ton Military trailer. It has been sandblasted primed and painted. It used to be red. There are brand new 600×16 military tires and rims. There are 12v lights and LED tail lights. It is PA titled and registered. The tub, frame and axle are original.I replaced the springs and the front inter vehicular cable box. I hope to get $1,800. I am open to negotiation. Overall great condition.”

“1947 Willy’s less engine, was set up for a small block Chevy .Was set up for hill climbing many years ago.Complete less engine,has transmission and transfer case..Needs a complete restoration.Has CLEAN Title. “1962 Bantam Trailer. Great vintage piece of equipment. T3C data plate intact (see pics). Also has the black California license plate. These trailers have a community of enthusiasts. Overall solid, but a little rough. It rolls. Sorry, don’t know if the lights work. Tires not original, but looks like we have one of the OG Firestones as a pretty bald spare. “his is a trailer sold through Willys jeep dealers from the late 40’s through the early 50’s.
It is made by “Spen trailer company”. This is NOT a Bantam trailer, but it is much like one. I bought it with hopes to restore it and use it with my CJ2A, but I don’t have the time. It is in poor shape.

UPDATE: Roger has supplied some additional photos and information to document the trailer in the hopes it will help others.
Roger writes, That is a light on the finder it as Griffin NO. 103 cast on it (10th photo). The light bulb is in side the cast aluminum tee . The jack as a PAT. NO. 2184058 The front panel of the box bed is 16” tall on the in side and 19” tall on the out side it goes down over the frame. The finders are 9” wide. The tale gate hinge pipe is 13/16 OD &14” on center & it well hinge from the top or bottom. The frame going up to the hitch is 3”x1 1/4”chanel. The springs are 1 3/4” wide. There are some holes on each side of box bed near the back that could of had tail lights mounted at one time.

Seller has a variety of trailers for sale. He lists four trailers below, but appears to have a David Bradley for sale that he doesn’t list below (which would be the fifth trailer).

Is nice and clean useable trailer.. couple fixes inside.. has combat wheels and orig thin lunette… i have over 1000 in those alone.. so this trailer is priced very well… in fact u can’t even buy the lunette anymore.. and they are 500 if u can find one…
2. Converto military Airborne ranger trailer… has it all… combat wheels and thin lunette. .. new ndt tires.. 2250…
3. Converto civilian trailer made specifically for the cj2a jeep… 1850.. these are very rare…
4. Sterling Trailer 1950’s – also made specifically for the cj2a jeep… 1850..”

“Actually it’s the back half of the truck – bed, frame, differential, etc. I know – sacrilege! I didn’t do this and the person that did probably had a good reason.
Regardless – the bed/trailer is for sale. If you’re into Willys Forward Control Trucks you know how rare this is. The condition of the bed is fair but in my opinion restorable. There are certainly some bends and twists and even a very limited amount of cancer but nothing that can’t be fixed. I’m posting lots of pictures so you can see the condition for yourself.”

“I am selling my restored 1945 converto dump trailer.
It has been sand blasted and painted 319, has original reinforced combat wheels with new tires.
I put in new wheel Bearings, New Vintage wiring of Maine harness, new light switch, new dump lever, new dump pivot pins.
It comes with a document pouch but I have not installed it.
Has always been stored indoors since being restored and it tows great.”
